L/D Ra's LS just got changed to 7x for all 5 Att. (no hearts) but it hasn't been updated on here yet, just to let y'all know :)

Reliability, better awakenings and overall better typing (Light Physical isn't much of a thing, Light Healer is more of a thing.)

Although it is true, the match is infinitely closer than before.

L/D Ra suddenly became wonderful man.
x7 atk is awesome especially in no RCV dungeons.
And he has great RCV for physical type which is great for my GGY physical team.
I evolved my Ra for L/L, but good thing I just got another Ra for the L/D!

His leader skill is getting buffed to 7X for 5 matches!! That will make him the better Ra and the best spike leader, specially for dungeons with no hearts!

I'm still sticking with L/L Ra although it is much closer here.

- LL Ra can get x4 which makes it easier to stall while wiping out a few of the weaker enemies. LD Ra is all or nothing.
- LD Ra will want to wipe out hearts when possible anyway (unless he's trying to stall and accumulate hearts) because letting the hearts build up means less of the other colors.
- LL Ra has +time which is nice. 50% bind resist is pretty meh. I think it's still better than dark resist + HP skill.

LD Ra is better in no RCV dungeons, and in situations where you get orb trolled and you don't have 3 heart orbs. I've certainly had times where I didn't get enough heart orbs to trigger x7 and died, but I've also had situations where I didn't have 3 of the 5 attacking colors and just wanted to whittle down with x4s. LD Ra having access to heartbreakers like Valkyrie helps but since you need all 5 attacking colors, sometimes your heartbreakers won't change to the color you're lacking so they won't help.

Ultimately someone will have to prove with math which Ra can deal more damage per turn. LD Ra is easier to trigger x7 but LL Ra can trigger x4 in situations that LD Ra can't get his x7.
Certainly for people who can't farm Friday mythical, the 2 angelits is huge and is the big reason to go LD. But for people who can, there's still great merit to sticking with LL.

I know right. I'm going to wait a while though to see if they change light Ra as well. If it gets updated in the US and it still doesn't have a change to the light Ra then I'm declaring the two Angelits I spent rekt.

One question about the wording... "All Monsters ATK x6 when 5 Color Attacks or above at once." Do we have 6 colors in the game? Or am I color blind? Or am I missing something crucial.

There are also "Jammer", "Heal", and "Poison" orbs which count as a different "Color" or "Type". Currently those other orbs besides having their negative or positive effect, also count towards the final "Combo" number when cleared, so leaders like Kushinada and Anubis benefit from their Combo count as their leader skill does not specify orb type/color, only combo count.
So yes, there are more orb "Types" than 5 but Ra's LS activation demands only the 5 basic colored orb types.

There are only 5 colors, but the wording is slightly misleading. I think they just took the template for Horus and Isis ("All Monsters ATK xX when X Color Attacks or above at once") and just adjusted for Ra values.

I just don't know which one to uvo to... I like l/d because I can attack with two colors, plus, I like the l/d resistance. I have the mats for l/l and I like that he's a healer, but I think l/d ra is better. I want both! Gahhh! It's like trying to figure out the Epimenides paradox!!

Why are they buffing him???? If anything they should buff light Ra. I think now this version is the better leader. Easier 7x with the allowance of heart breakers. Sure you don't have a very slightly easier 4x and .5 sec time extension, but I think those are overriden by the easier 7x leader skill.

If any admin can look at this page, they should notice that they haven't changed L/D Ra's leaderskill or add in the Japanese version, so it's not entirely misleading. I'm considering doing the change to L/D because I would like to see if my team builds surrounding L/D would make me want to stay or change back to L/L (waiting for a leaderskill buff it'll probably be like 7.5 or 8x lolol).

LL Ra > LD Ra for much the same reason why in typical discussion Krishna > Sarasvati. You get more firepower if you take the harder route, but you'll be unlikely to do it again -- but with the other, you sacrifice a little bit of that firepower for more consistency on later floors. The less forgiving leader tends to require a lot of orb changers and skillups in order to guarantee activation, while the more forgiving leader is more flexible and needs significantly less investment to construct a good team.

Case in point: LD Ra requires two LKalis to guarantee activation on multiple floors and Sarasvati needs boatloads of orb changers and skillboosts, but LL Ra can run a team of farmable healers that's strong enough to kill twinlits and Krishna can take on an even balance of orb changers and burst.

Of course, what this means is that with enough REM luck and investment you can build really strong LD Ra and Sarasvati teams, but with significantly less $$$ and investment you can build powerful LL Ra and Krishna teams.

I never looked at dark Ra much but now that I run a physical team that RCV is beautiful. Totally would have turned Ra into this guy but now with Awoken Ra the choice becomes even harder

This monster does not include Heal Orbs in the ability to reach the 6x.

You're looking for "Pure Light Sun Deity, Ra", who can get 4x with either 5 colors OR 4 colors and Hearts, or if you get all 5 colors AND a heal match, it'll become 7x.
