For those that think that this monster (or his awakenings) are useless, watch this video: Damage resist awoken skills are additive, so fielding 5 of these guys would give you: 20% + 20% + 20% + 20% +20% = 100%. A team of 5 of these guys and a multiplier helper will give you the ability to 100% clear Trifruit, or any dungeon that is mono wood for that matter, as long as they don't have monsters that bind. (Though this isn't really realistic since it'll require 25 tamadras and 250 team cost.)

20. The Awakens got a buff from 4% to 5%. This means one less of these guys, and another monster that can bring down the Trifruits to below 50% HP.
Krosis in reply to Paradragon 6 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
Not sure if you understand what Im saying. The dungeon has 100% drop rate for the boss on "Z" level. Im just saying that it is possible to do this without spending a single tamadra on something so situational.

Plus there are a lot of new 5 star monsters with pretty good stats and leader skills coming out soon!

Each trifruit has two colors instead of just green so you would still have to take down half of their health without any protection from their damage. In fact, I believe most if not all mostly green dungeons have a non-green boss. It's a fun idea though.
-Striku- 6 years ago ( 7.1.1 )
5 of this monster, fully awoken, and a kushinada helper. this might be a good trifruit build if you can combo very well and get the trifruits down to 50%
Mr.Deadman in reply to -Striku- 6 years ago ( 7.2.2 )
Since you only need 4 now with the resist buff, a couple of gravities (Zeus lead, Zeus friend, Hera's, whatever), and an infinite chance to stall for the actives even without skills, Double Gravity and grind on the boss floor.
Bryan@PF/r in reply to Mr.Deadman 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Double Gravity-ing would bring the L/W one to it's Light half.
Demi in reply to Krosis 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
That stamina x 3 or more depending on luck. It's a 1/3 spawn supposedly.
Krosis in reply to Demi 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Yeah now all my calculations are bogus because of that. Originally the dungeon only had dark horai as the boss, now we have more info.
Mr.Deadman in reply to Bryan@PF/r 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
So Double Christmas Hera leads, 2 turns of 11.7x for the dragons and 9x for Hera, target L/W and combo decent?

Bryan@PF/r in reply to Mr.Deadman 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Actually, yeah that works. Double Zeus leaders would also work great.
Mr.Deadman in reply to Bryan@PF/r 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Bigger Gravity with Zeus makes sense. Sounds like a plan. Now for all those Tamadras...
Josh-PF/BB 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Why would I want a team that makes tri-fruits take 10-15mins to clear instead of 1-2mins?

Also I think these guys will find more of a use in a sub slot by themselves just to reduce damage on different stages to allow teams with less HP to survive hits or require less RCV to stall.

Dark one could help you enter god rush or whatever that dungeon is with the huge stage one pre-emptive attack with a lesser HP team etc
Paradragon 6 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
Don't forget

And that dungeon's drop rate is rather low, plus the high stamina required for repeated high-drop rate difficulties. It would be easier to farm TAMADRAS in 15 stamina s-class wins.

Is it just me or does he look like he threw his puzzle piece on the ground?

This looks a lot like a pallet swap of horai in fact it is a pallet swap

Yeap recycled art, same goes for the other two in the Z series.

I can just imagine the Cave of Dreaming scene with four of these guys...
DF: Intruder alert! Now using scary face to weaken intruders. Dragon seeds, do your thing!
DS1: Taste my strike dragon!
(Does zero damage)
WTF? How did you not take damage????
DS2: I'll just use my skill then!
(Does zero damage)
Huh? Mine is ineffective too.
DS3: Third times the charm!
(Does zero damage)
...or not.
DS4: How about MINE?
(Does zero damage)
You countertrolls!
DF: Hmfh! You will never survive my gulp!
(Both hits do zero damage)
F****CK YOU! Now we'll never be able to kill those intruders! It's all because of those Horais that we can never do any damage! We are doomed! WHY did you make these guys gungho?
And that's how Cave of Dreaming no longer became a MYTH to beat the first floor.

We are not taking into account that someday (hopefully soon) we will get D/G hades which applies 75% green/dark dmg reduction with duel leads. With additional 6.25 atk. This will make for an amazing sub for that team.

Nice beard.

20% wood resistance. Interdasting.
By XCWarior 6 years ago ( 7.2.2 )
He'd be nice to have here in North America.
By shilent4 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
4 of these for a full resist team. If each takes 5 awakenings minimum then that's 5(4)+4 which is 24. Let's say you have average RNG and get him 1/3 times so that would take 72 runs and if you're playing it safe and running legend and each run is 50 stamina sooooo... It would take about 3600 stamina to get a 100% resist team. You'll also get red and blue in the process though. Phew...

That Awoken skill has been updated to give 5% resist, so you only need 4 of these dragons each X5 awoken in order to get 100% Element damage resist, which makes spiking using 2 Athena leads a lot much easier. Hell even having 2 of these Awoken in your team will grant 50% dmg reduction which is Huge. I am farming the heck out of this dungeon.
By gauchito 5 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
Question. If you use, say two fully awoken of these on a team with a 50% resist leader, which is applied first?

If resist leader cuts damage to 50% and then two of these are applied -> 0 damage.
If two of these are applied first and then leader resists 50% of damage -> 25% damage.

I'm assuming the latter, but I'll keep hoping until I see it tried.
draka 5 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
You are correct. It will only get it to 75% wood damage resistance.
By TheDanish 4 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
Wow the darker versions of the Sky Dragons are more useful than their original selves that's good to know.
By drew9348 3 years ago ( 12.0.3 )
Far more useful than Woodbahn and Grimrock imo.
By Alf 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
25% wood resistance, 100% farmable, no tamadras needed.
2k attack, dragon attack boost in 10 turns (farmable again), that is fantastic!
Stephen 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Too bad he's a 1 in 3 chance type of boss. You'll probably be dedicating a lot of time in the dungeon if you plan on skilling up one of these RGB guys with themselves. Even worse with the Light or Dark ones since they are 1 in 5 on the 4th floor with the evolved PaDZ starters.
