For Kirin teams, if you're not running a King Bubblie then there's absolutely no reason to lock into physical.
That's not to say Take isn't a decent sub in his own right, but you only care about type if 1) you have a type-based leader skill (which Kirin doesn't) or 2) you have a type-based enhancer (which for physical is Bubblie). Other than that, the physical typing really doesn't matter.

His question was which one is a better _sub_, not which is a better leader...

I think athena would generally be better as a light enhance since her atk is explosively high. If you're fire-heavy, then Take.

Since Kirin is phys now, then maybe it should be Take regardless if you're running a king bubblie.

its up to you whether you use fire or wood. Use what attribute you have as the strongest, its not hard to decide

The all purpose better light orb enhancer is Athena. Otherwise Takeminakata is better for light and/or red Physical teams.

Id have to say I vote take mainly for the sake of his recover. If you had an Apollo I would suggest Athena since Apollo has sub red already.

from personal experience seig is better because it has better synergy with better physical subs but sieg dies out pretty fast when you get to a higher level and get better leaders

Sample team would be this i added rem and non rem subs just for examples

a takeminakata team would be this I cant even think of good light physicals outside of fuma and apollo
