These dragons look pretty sick, but their stats in early-mid levels SUCKS along with their awakening skills

but their active skills are all right.

Potential Uriel sub?

I was able to roll a Uriel this morning, and Muspelheim dropped for me on LDR expert just now. I'm thinking these two could go together pretty well...

...but I have yet to see more Uriel team builds.

Don't even bother with this guy. Better off with a starter or other fire dragons for pretty much any stat. 40x is okay but not worth it and skill ups are tedious. Even the leader skill has a better alternative.

Revenge of the Ruby Dragons is an easy dungeon, and there are other ways to resist and kill super kings, like mvd for resistance and mystic mask or KoR-> mvd or any ripper dragon aoe, samurai ogre, etc. These are monsters that fill many rolls, so you'll have them in your inventory.

These legendary dragons are too much investment for too little return.

In most cases you are right; however, this guy would be a perfect leader for revenge of the ruby dragons. His skill damage reduction combined with another just like it makes even the super kings hit like flees. And I haven't done the math but I think his active will kill most of them in one shot where 20x damage would not be enough for a king either.

If I max-skilled him in his normal form then ult. evo him, will a get a max-skilled Infernodragon?

No, if a skill changes name, the skill level gets reset.

From what i see, and read, maybe another dust-catcher? I've only been truly disappointed twice so far in this game: when I pulled my first, then a second Undine (WORST. CARD. EVER. was the quote I read), and then this guy.

Let's just say I've PLENTY of other characters to feed and evolve that take priority over this guy.

When I sorted through rare this guy was the top. I have Sunrise Princess Leilan, Artemis, Horus, Hino, Sakuya and many other better cards some of which you can't get in dungeons and apparently this guy is even more rare than them and they're all better. How do they choose what's "most rare"?

Rare-ness is based off of the number of stars that a monster has. This guy is 7 (6 in his base form) you can see that on the top of the page here, or in game to the right of the monster's number.

As for why they started this guy with six stars... who knows? he's an early card, so he isn't built to today's standards.

Also, incase you were wondering, he's trash, sell him for the 10 mp.

When I first started, my initial research suggested that GungHo copied Hello Kitty and Batman from Sanrio and DC, until I found out that they too were inspired by actual mythological cultures.

You are obviously ignorant to the monsters in the game. THEY ARE ALL BASED FROM A MYTHLOGICAL CULTURE, which is why there are different gods and demons!

My first exposure to the game was during a batman collab christmas. Needless to say, what stuck with me from that was a flagrant misuse of magic stones, seeing as you get so many during that time of year, especially in beginning dungeons. I researched and found that GungHo never copied DC or any of its other collab partners and then looked through the monsters more. GungHo has frequent original ideas, but the more popular monsters are gods and demons that are culturally correct and come from different continents and ethnic groups. GungHo then creatively adapts these identities with modern artwork and research. Until I played this game, I didn't know that Odin's spear was named Gungnir.

I'm an artist myself and their artwork is gorgeous to me. The placement, colors, and styles are almost always beautiful or cool looking. They also make up and program the stats for each. I started playing during the Bleach collab and saw people with Final Fantasy characters. I really want FF characters!
