I guess I would try this out, he seems to be the best leader among his three split-ults IN CO-OP PLAY, without being too difficult to use.

Comboing seems easier than double cross woods because I keep being double-crossed by my luck and my poor skills.

And unlike Rathalos x Male Hunter, I don't have to form a whole team of collab cards.

Think I'm leaning toward this one. I really enjoy racking up combos. And I love MH in general. So glad it's coming.
By CocoPoison 3 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
I don't get why the rating is so low on him, I think he's be a useful leader, even if not in coop. Obviously coop makes him shine significantly more, boosting his multiplier from an 81 to a 182 or something, but an 81 is not that bad, all things considered, and he comes with a killer, which is always nice.

Whenever I see complaints or reservations about a beneficial feature in the game's mechanics, I always sigh and think of the word puzzle. The game is called Puzzles and Dragons. I know the flashy artwork can distract but that doesn't mean that the puzzle aspect of the game can go ignored. Seen u comment about killers on various pages like this so that's mainly where this is coming from. Also just hoping that it'll help make more productive comments in the future.

Let me list various flaws in a majority of team compositions. I have reservations about rainbow teams bc of att absorb. I have reservations about cross orb play bc of combo absorb. I have reservations about LS that benefit ATK and HP bc healing becomes difficult. I have reservations about LS that benefit ATK and RCV bc tanking becomes difficult. I have reservations about LS that benefit HP and RCV bc they have no dmg output. I have reservations about rows bc they're too orb hungry. I have reservations about 2 prong bc the bonus dmg doesn't apply to the entire team.

Here, let's be more specific like the niche behavior of killers. I have reservations about 7c2x bc 7 combos is hard. I have reservations about the awoken rainbow guard break bc it means I have to use a rainbow team. I have reservations about the skill delay latent bc I can just use an assist instead. I have reservations about prongs bc they're useless on a Khepri team. I have reservations about subbing Aizen on my Revo Haku team if he is the only water att bc his active changes his att to dark only and gets rid of fire orbs.

This can go on and on forever. I don't actually have reservations about any of the above. I'm just aware that every mechanic has a margin of the game's content where they will have an adverse effect. Therefore, it need not be mentioned unless the person is asking for advice on the playstyle or forgets to mention a potential problem when analyzing its application to a portion of the game's content. If everyone is treating PAD like a puzzle game, we would have already identified where these features would be wrongly applied.

Killers are nice to have. U can probably count the amount of dragons with dmg absorb/dmg void on your fingers. For the rest of the game's content, the killer will be nice to have. And guess what? This is a puzzle game with a wide variety of customizable team compositions! The variety allows for loopholes and counters to potential problems. If u need combos, use a combo bonus active. If u encounter att absorb, be careful with dmg or use a void att absorb skill like the June bride Persephone. If u have an issue with HP, RCV or ATK, use two different leaders to find a good balance. And if u have an issue with killers, than take a void dmg absorb like fujin.

Worst case scenario, just don't use something that will work against u! The mechanics are completely within player control! Even skyfall can now be filtered and manipulated. Either u should have reservations about everything or nothing at all, which makes the blanket statement pointless to voice without provcation. The "always" was obviously not meant in a literal sense. Like I always get a cup of coffee there. No, u get a coffee there often u liar!

Comment-Wow this unit has the 7c2x awoken, that's always nice to have.
Reply-7c2x is not always nice to have bc skyfall can mess up dmg control and it becomes hard to trigger in dungeons that restrict orb movement time
Me-This is obnoxious.

It just betrays a past misuse of the mechanic. Don't do urself and the game a disservice by psyching urself out like this. U have the power! Just do the obvious and use it properly. b(^_^b)

Yo dude, Mizutsune Hunter is not good at damage control to begin with. If you really are wary of the likes of Sopdet then you'll need a Fujin.

You listed out disadvantages about many other beneficial awoken skills, but for some reasons I don't have any problems with these awoken-skills.

I can combo harder with heart-makers or shields when I have HP multiplier but no Rcv multiplier.

I usually don't have much problem against combo-absorb with leaders who require only one cross (unless it is 9 combo or up) with the help of combo-adding skills, or trust my luck by using skyfall+15% skills.

I can sometimes minimize the drawbacks of rainbow teams by arranging the positions of subs, although it might be the Friend-Leader's sub-attribute that really is the concern, still I'm alright with that.

7Cx2 is always nice to have even in row-biased teams, and I see them as bonus, in a sense that I receive no penalty for failing to reach 7 combos.

I am fine with the rest of them.

While, I get it you might be trying to say my reservations for killers are kind of ridiculous, and I can't deny that it is.

That only leaves me a question, which doesn't need answers from any of you, but from myself.

Why do I dislike damage absorbs above all else?

When I can just use another team with better damage control;
When I am totally fine with switching the whole team, not just choosing different subs for the same leader;
When I understand the introduction of such enemy skill is to discourage power-creep and prevent players from sweeping through dungeons.

I tried asking myself, yet I have no answers to my unexplained dislike towards damage-absorb.

I am sorry that I cannot offer as much logic as you do, and indeed these two comments of mine doesn't really contribute to this page - to discuss how best to use Mizutsune Armor Hunter - 'cause it is too emotional to be helpful.
(in short, my comments here are a waste of space, at least that's how I feel right now)

Maybe it is for the best that we stop here.

Lastly, I really appreciate your time and effort in making such a detailed explanation, trying to free me from my hatred towards damage-absorb (and thus Killers) and help me enjoy the game more.
You really are a nice folk.

I hope by the time we meet again I'll be less prejudiced against killers.

Ur comments aren't a waste of space. U did kind of contradict urself in this instance tho lol. But if my reply discouraged u, let me just say that it was ultimately meant to empower u and other players who hesitate when seeing a certain feature. I like PAD. I want u and everyone else to be able to enjoy it to the fullest. :)

Killers are not always nice, since I grew to have reservations about killers, although not that far as to hate them.

But that aside, he really is a good leader.

Ok, what body part do I need to sell in order to drop the last evo mat I need?
By Omega 3 years ago ( 11.1.1 )
People rating this card low don't know how to combo. Paired with massacre diablos, you could have an instant x76 if you know what you're doing. Heck, pair him with himself and BOOM instant x81.

Hello everyone, newish player (rank 159) here, and I had a question about farming for the mats to evolve the male hunter to Mizutsune. I've been hitting both MH dungeons as often as possible, even setting alarms so I can use my stamina most efficiently. The hardest difficulty I can take is Master in both dungeons. Despite successfully running all levels up to Master at least 4x each within the last 12 hrs, I haven't gotten a single mat for the Mizutsune evo. The mats are both available throughout all the levels in both dungeons.

So my question is this: is there any way I can increase my chances of drawing what I need? Is there anything I can do to help ensure that I don't end up with a whole lotta stamina and time wasted, so that at the end of the MH campaign, I'm left with a bunch of junk I don't need, or have room for.

Any help Is greatly appreciated. I hope that my not question is rude or that I have posted this on the wrong place, I apologize.

Thank you!
Kirito 2 years ago ( 12.0.3 )
If you can't farm the toughest difficulty, it's going to be harder. But even then, there is no guarantee you will get all the evo material you need. This collaboration seems to be designed around endlessly farming for what you need. Save any rare drops and try to trade them for the ones you don't have. This is when having a large friend list comes in handy. If you haven't already invested stones into growing your friend list, you might want to start now. And if you still don't get everything you need, you'll have to save the material for the next time this collab comes around. This game definitely rewards long term planning and grinding over instant gratification. Good luck!

Going to be honest, I don't really care about anything in the MH REM but, I really want this guy to make it over to NA. I always love it when my favorite play style and favorite color coincide.
Cornykova 3 years ago ( 11.1.1 )
Wiat .... WHAT ????

Diablos is one of the most anticipated cards, and the blue 7* has crazy HP. All of the monster have insane stats, useful actives and most also have good LS. there are no trolls. This is by far the best REM to spend your stones on, since every card sells at least 15k mp when rolling too many dupes.

The hype is real (and it's here in 3 days!)
nathan@N17 in reply to Cornykova 3 years ago ( 11.1.1 )
Best collab is still ff, which also costs only 5 stones. And WILL get buffed more and come around more
grap@ps in reply to Cornykova 3 years ago ( 11.1.1 )
yeah but heroine also give 15k for dupes and almost all the 5*/6* are useful. mh is literally just amatsu and diablos .. you are supposed to find a friend with diablos anyway, there is not much use to having him. almost everything else is a stat inherit at best.

keep in mind it is 3% for a 7*, chances combined. this means 750 stones or so is on average how much it costs to get a specific one (amatsu). To be fair, Amatsu is completely broken, so there's that.

truth be told, you are best spending your stones literally almost anywhere else unless you're a whale or are a fan of the mh games.

Do you think this dungeon will ever come back someday? I couldn't get my last evolution piece to drop.
Sonofyin in reply to DKnight 3 years ago ( 11.1.1 )
Doesn't it need to be recorded in ur monster book in order to request?
DKnight 3 years ago ( 11.1.1 )
The 6 star Mizutsune Purplefur? There will be player trading available in a later update. Hold onto any 6 star drops you got from the MH collab and trade them for the purplefur. If you don't have any, save up a high +egg Tama or something worth trading and you'll get it.

The trading update will be in 2 months or so for NA/EU, which is far sooner than we'll ever see the MH collab return.

Note that the trading is only for stuff worth less than 100 MP so you can't trade radar dragons like ZeusDra, or anything that drops from the REM.
Angelsword in reply to Sonofyin 3 years ago ( 11.1.1 )
does it?

Is there a good 7x6 board changer as second leader?
Exa 3 years ago ( 12.0.3 )
Diablos. It's so good as a pairing for strong combo leaders that it's dominated the metagame.
