If you're thinking of switching to this Durga for your D.Athena team, beware that when moving from her Dark/Water form, you lose one SBR.
By Jiggs 3 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
I have mixed feelings about this. The bulk is appreciated, but a rainbow leader with a No Skyfall clause is something that I'm not sure will work. It's a nice challenge, though. My real problem however, is the loss of her ability to utilize Heal orbs.
Guest 3 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
Honestly, the biggest problem with her is going to be damage. 56x is pathetic for a Rainbow lead. I've always felt Gungho intended you to use her active to make up for the low multiplier but that simply doesn't work when other leads can produce better results without such a heavy penalty.

P.S.-She really should've been allowed to keep her Heart orb activation.
Chihaya 3 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
No need for mixed feelings, she's worse than bankai durga with the sole exception of the no skyfall clause helping for damage control on very specific bosses. She lost her niche 2 Skill Bind REsists and her super consistent 5x activation for a 1.5 HP increase which is nothing because every leader and their mother has either 1.5 all stat or damage reduction, so when I look at leader skills i don't even consider than 1.5 all stat as part of the leader skill, in which case durga is a 5x for 4 specific colors which was good 5 years ago, and is a pile of garbage now
sillyn 3 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
Actually this is a card for inheritance. A good option for people like me that doesn't have Facet yet. 22 turns (In Loki) and since Dathena have a good HP pool, 2.5x for 3 turns in exchange of 50% of the HP isn't big deal.
And off course, people won't die to the piis and blame Durga anymore :P
Jiggs in reply to Guest 3 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
I agree. Durga has always had a disadvantage over the other color picky rainbow leads like U&Y and Sakuya (maybe not over D. Kali, but she's meant to be a sub anyway), but this is total trash. The other ones got an exponential damage increase when they Awakened, but Durga gets screwed again. Additionally her sub pool is a complete far cry from her counterparts due to the type restriction. Guess we're gonna have to wait on her Reincarnation and hope it redeems this disappointment.
By Kirito 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
I can't imagine anyone using this as a leader. There are way better FARMABLE leaders to choose from. As a sub, she looses a lot of utility over her super ultimate evolution. The only advantage this form gives her is that her new active skill is really awesome. With only a 10 turn cool down, 2.5x for ANY dark monster for THREE turns is nothing to sneeze at, in exchange for only a 50% drop in HP. Weird that her active applies to any dark monster but her leader skill must use devils. Not a very subtle hint to only use her as a sub. If I had 2, I would evolve one into this form then use her as an assist monster. With 1, however, the other form is a no-brainer.

I'm lucky enough to have pulled two Durgas. The first one I got I evod all the way before Awoken Durga was announced. My other has been sitting in my monster box gathering dust. Now I'm in the process of getting Awoken Durga. You are absolutely right about Awoken Durga being more of a sub though. Awoken Durga is actually a perfect sub for the new DMeta evo. DMeta's active only activates below 80% HP, so using the original Durga is overkill, literally and figuratively. Awoken Durga fixes that by reducing HP to only 50%. :)
By Silveus 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
I really, really, want to like this, i do. But i just can't.

The leader skill is meh, but bordering on worse.

the awakenings are worse

The active is better, but not by a large amount, and for sure not enough for me to want to max skill it again.

I like the art though, something about black green i just like.
Sugnite 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
I might be wrong here but if you have Dmeta you create this if you do not then Durga (any evo) is just wasting box space until it becomes more relevant.
Silveus in reply to Sugnite 3 years ago ( 11.1.1 )
I shoved her Super Ult on my D athena team for the two SBRs. I've got a haku assisting her, and both are max skilled so i usally have the more useful haku skill ready when i need it. She's a fine addition there, but its mostly for the two SBRs
By RedPyramid 3 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
Don't worry gents. She'll get dat Revo running and be relevant again. I prefer this art over the D/B one but oh well.
Kirito 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
Heh by then every other card will be super revo or extra super revo...and they will still be sure to make her revo on par with lesser awoken cards.

Why does she remind me so much this?

Can't use hearts, no skyfalls, outdated hp modifier that was good a year ago, one less sbr. This was better as her ultimate form buff. I mean, dam man. Why does GungHo shi on Durga so much?
Jewslayer 3 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
Here's a better way to say what I said earlier:

3072 should have already covered the hp buff when she gained the devil parameter multiplier for atk and rcv. I suppose the concept is that without hearts, she'll focus more on the other active colours that actually do damage so, in theory, she'll hit harder but I feel confident that my fellow durga fans all know she's always been pretty lackluster in the numbers game. No skyfalls definitely doesn't do wonders for her, especially when she isn't combo lead such as kushinada or anubis.

In one form less Krishna received a better evolution earlier. Durga is just catching up to a year and a half ago. And, I think the icing for the cake is that she's still bindable in her awoken form. It's just so trash.
By Boromir 3 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
Would it have killed them to give her 2x to all devils stats?
nottravis 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
Yes - 4/100/4 would be absurd.
I would like to see the color-match 5x go up to 6x though, that would be more reasonable – 2.25/81/2.25 is good without being ridiculous.
Boromir in reply to nottravis 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
So, it wouldn't have killed them. It would shift the meta toward a tanky rainbow lead that isn't RaDra (who's outdated anyway)--guess she isn't special enough. It would be Revo Horus atk and rcv multiplier, but with an hp boost. Or a tanky but 1/4 damage R Sakuya. I don't see the absurdity. The trade off is devil restriction, having/matching those specific colors, no devil board changers that maker her colors plus hearts (are there?), niche active on two leaders, bindable...
By sign 3 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
you can pair her with super durga for a better lead combination
By bindmeplz 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
For a dark focused team both Grida and z8 are good farmable subs that feed dark without interfering with LS.

Persephone and DValk are solid REM bases likewise with skills that eat light/heart only.
By Thadd 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
Good HP for Devil type, but none of the other stats are overly impressive for devil or physical.
The art is pretty poor. Looks like a 10 year old drew her face and it looks like her boobs are different sized from one another.
The awoken skills are very meh.

She's nothing more than an inherit.
Popstick 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
if you take a closer look at her breasts, she has a ribbon on her right (our left) breast that makes one look bigger than the other, but the artist drew them accurately! Also, I'm not sure what you're saying about the face, getting a facial symmetry like that without errors is not something a 10 year old can do. I think the art looks great!
By moocow 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
Just found a better dmeta inherit than izanagi. same 50% hp reduction, but better damage and same attribute so I get a stat boost. All for the cost of 4 turn CD.
Lucky for me I have both so I can choose. REM has been good to me.
By Schiffy 3 years ago ( 12.0.3 )
Let's see.... Dark boost on active instead of God/Devil. One more turn of boost. More damage, less HP reduction, but no Skyfall and doesn't include Heart orbs like the Dark/Water versions.

I'm gonna pass for now. Maybe if there's a Reincarnation I'll reconsider.
By drew9348 3 years ago ( 12.0.3 )
I wish I had this...but not sure which one to make for a few reasons:

1. DMeta. This is the perfect inherit for her as it is a burst *and* an HP cut that doesn't kill you.
2. Split ult DKali. Both ults can pair with her well, as they both require the same colors and DKali is now devil type. Green can also be a tough color to cover (but Asmodeus works too)
3. DAth. In her D/B form, Durga has two TPA and two SBR. Just thought I'd mention that.
4. U&Y. While they aren't exactly meta right now, it is very possible that they will be receiving a Revo sometime soon. Their sub pool has been increasing with the new GFE ults, and like Anubis, their awoken form has a 20x multiplier. Who knows what their Revo may bring?
