Does anyone know how Reincarnated Meimei’s Leader skill interact with damage reduction active skills? Are they added separately or together?

I can't wait for her to come out!

I have 3 Meimeis currently (all ready to reincarnate of course :P), and I wanna run a team like this:

Revo Meimei
Revo Meimei
Revo Meimei
Kaede
Zhuge Liang
Revo Meimei

Meimei has a ton of health, put on health latents and you got a decently tanky crew,
with tons of dongs on every sub (3 for kaede and zhuge, 2 for meimei but with 7c2x)
Lots of board changes with lots of skill charges, and zhuge helps spike for just that bit of extra on bosses or fire types.

If you proc Meimei's leader skill with a two-prong and 7 combos (which is super easy, I run a Vishnu team atm and i average 8 combos even without the green skyfall chance), the 3dong subs get a hearty 69x, and the Meimei's get a 91x, and Zhuge's active would be an extra 2x on top with defense break whenever needed.
Pick some solid inherits and I feel like this team will be super fun to use, may not be mind-shatteringly strong, but I will really enjoy using it as a "grocery-getter" team.

Now all I need is for Kaede to join me... 50 rolls and I still haven't gotten her... got 5 Verdandis though... sigh...

I don't really like the art. And I'll explain why: Awoken Meimeoi's artwork was amazing, it really showed some kind of evolution, from the young, unexperienced girl to a strong woman. This artwork also shows an older persona but it's kinda off. Her eyes have a weird seductive look and the fruit plate may be a reference to her grape loving D/G form but it doesn't really work out. She doesn't look stronger, if anything she actually looks weaker, since she just let's her snake-thing do the work, instead of wielding the sword on her own. Which is another problem I have: The Genbu is actually a black tortoise with a snake as a tail. The artwork of her awoken form didn't include a tortoise but gave Meimei dark clothing, which made her look like she is the tortoise. This artwork doesn't feature any turtle-esque objects or looks and doesn't even feature a real snake anymore. Leila keeps her phoenix wings, Haku keeps her tiger claws, why couldn't Meimei keep anything that resembles the spirit animal she's based on?

I think we're looking at Xuanwu in this art, and if so that's awesome. Let me explain, starting with Meimei:

Meimei (which translates to "younger sister") is an anthropomorphic representation of the Black Tortoise of the North, one of the Four Symbols (winter). The constellation has been depicted throughout history as a tortoise with a snake wrapped around it, usually not as a tail. Meimei is obviously the tortoise, and up until now we've seen her with a snake. So is this new art coming out of left field?

Well, the Chinese name for the Black Tortoise of the North constellation is Beifang Xuanwu, and Xuanwu is a deity. Despite being known as the "Dark Warrior", he has been depicted in colorful robes and golden armor. He was skillful with a sword and magic, subdued demons, and could control the elements. There's many stories about him, some of which involve the tortoise and snake. Stay with me, because his legends are a little scattered. According to Taoist legend he was studying Taoism in order to reach divine status because he didn't want to take over his father's throne. According to another legend, he had to purge all human flesh from his body to achieve said enlightenment. When his organs were removed they turned into a tortoise and a snake. They started to terrorize the country, and Xuanwu returned to kill them. Instead, they ended up being trained under after expressing remorse.

Another story tells of Xuanwu purging his sins (again, to achieve enlightenment) by washing his intestines in a river. His sins were rinsed into the river as black liquid, and formed the tortoise and snake. Like the previous legend, they were aggressive beings, and Xuanwu returned subdue them. In another version of the tale his intestines got washed away while cleaning them. However, The Jade Emperor was impressed with his efforts and made him immortal. His intestines were absorbed into the earth, and once the duo formed they began causing chaos. In this version they were used as Xuanwu's transportation as punishment. There are many different legends and different endings, those are just a few.

Now, back to Meimei: In this art she looks relaxed. She's holding a plate of fruit with one hand, and gently touching the serpentine warrior with another. He has the weapon, is fully covered in armor, and Meimei is resting in a gorgeous robe. She seems to be the one in control, and that's a whole lot of power. She may not appear to be the strongest in this art, or when compared to the others, but that relaxed look of confidence is stronger than any sword.

What I learned-
To purge my sins, I just have to gut myself and pollute a river.

To be safe, I think you'd better study Taoism first.

You do realize, the snake IS Meimei?
she's Genbu, a tortoise god from the China.
It is said that this tortoise has the strongest shell, sharpest nails, and a snake as its tail.
The fact the snake evolved is a sign that Meimei now not only have the sharpest nails (the swords from the Awoken version), and herself is now strong enough that her tail evolved in to a different being to aid her.
