LOL How long has this running joke about Odin's abs been going on now? 3 years??!?
By Da Crunk 3 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
this right here is hype
By XiaoQiao 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
There must be a typo in his leader skill, because my odin's damage reduction is with full HP just like the previous Odin. They need to check it!
kushi<3 2 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
LOL this would be the dumbest LS skill ever: Full HP? Never mind, you'll get one shot
By Phlynch 2 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
I wonder if they will give Jord a new evo who's leader skill works with this version.
By Germán@Pf 3 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
Both leader odin evos grant permanent 80% damage reduction and and a 8.75% multiplier with 8 connected green orbs.

Or at least it would, except the description is wrong

The shield works just like the old one did, active only at 100% (not below)
Daybreak 3 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
Permanent 80% reduction seems a bit op...
Loki in reply to WorldSend 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
I think you guys are misunderstanding his/her point.

If you have this grodin evo paired with the other grodin evo, you either get 80% reduction from one or the other. If your hp is full the old grodin ult gives 80% reduction, and if you get hit this one kicks in and gives 80% reduction.

Although 8.75x isn't that much, stacking it with rows and enhance/burst actives could make this a pretty robust strategy for some dungeons (similar to mechathena teams).
WorldSend in reply to Daybreak 3 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
Permanent, as long as no damage is taken to activate it in the first place...

Edit: kms

I misread the LS; I thought it functioned the same way the other ones do. Oopsie doopsies.

80% is nice, what possible overall damage reduction would be possible with latents included ?
Jay in reply to WorldSend 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
It's the other way around. You have to take damage for it to become permanent. It's 80% reduction while BELOW 100% health.

The trigger condition is exactly the opposite of regular green Odin.

This upgrade makes him a viable sub on my team now. Love those stats.
By Edgelord 3 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
since when did he have pockets???
By The Boy 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
Is there a typo in the leader skill? With dual Odin leads you would get a 96% damage reduction when you're under 100% hp. That sounds too good to be true.
Abso 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
You're also getting a huge boost to your RCV which means almost any heart match will invalidate the damage reduction. That and you have no HP boost means you're going to be vulnerable to getting one-shot.

Probably better to pair with the other Grodin or to only use in no-RCV dungeons.

If the ls is right, just toss in satan.
By urtoast(F) 2 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
LS is indeed incorrect. Damage reduction only at fully HP.
bahasword 2 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
you still gotta watch out for that autorecover awaken
By dblight@pv 2 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
Anyone plz tell me if i paired 2 odins and enemy multiple attack me, will i got damage reduce all atk or just first atk?

just the first attack
By ngmatt 2 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
he is finaly here, he is better then the other ult right?
sgt502 2 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
This one meant to be a sub (better awakenings), the other meant to be a leader (better LS/higher ATK multiplier).
By Ayuhdale 2 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
Man let's just give all the good green monsters bind clear

How does this ult keep grOdin relevant when virtually every boss uses multi hit nuke attacks and a 2.5x atk multiplier is so 2013. At least give him 2 more TPAs and a skill bind resist! Odin deserves better.
nathan@N17 2 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
It's a sub. Pad 101 not every card is a leader nor is every card a good sub.
By ._. 2 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
Can someone tell me how this grodin is used compared to the other one? Just examples or a basic explanation is fine.
sgt502 2 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
LS-wise, this Odin is a TPA based while the other one is row based. From awakenings perspective, this one meant to be a sub (this one has better awakenings) while the other one meant to be a leader though you could use the other version as a sub.

I just noticed that this guy does 2.5 RCV when matching 4 wood orbs. SO, its actually better than the other one who just provides heals.
Instead of needing 8 green orbs to get 3.5 atk and auto heal, this guy needs 4 green orbs + 3 heal orbs to do a better job.
I run with #3400 healer, so I already get 5k auto hp. I'll take this guy as leader and attacker TYVM.
