Horus's evo tree is now WAY more messed than Sakuya or Panda :)
Thadd 3 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
They need to make a further evo that combines revo horus and ace horus and then we'll be there.
By RedPyramid 4 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
More stoked to see Revo Isis then Horus but this is nice.
By Shoukon 4 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
I will still revo my Awoken Horus.

He was once considered the best lead after the "downfall" of pure tank teams (e.g. Archangel Lucifer).

Horus was "crowned king" for being much easier than Ra and still considerably powerful at that time.

I miss the good old times, O honorable Horus.

RIP serket i miss you.
Kirihiko 4 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
You think so?

100x isn't outstanding anymore, and your team increasingly needs to take hits. Serket still offers 2.25/56.25/2.25 without the need to pop skills in addition to being jammer and poison immune, and her active is marginally more useful than Horus' assuming you aren't short on fingers.

Another thing to note is that inherited skills will have a better chance to be charged and used thanks to the aforementioned tankiness and lack of a skill-dependent LS.

I'm just really underwhelmed by Revo Horus. He isn't bad, but he's soaring in late through everyone else's dust.

They spend so much time making new stronger forms of Horus and the one thing they won't change is that awful active skill
Thadd 3 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
Yeah they should change the orb enhance to unlock all orbs.
If they did that he'd be a really useful sub.

Revo vs Ace

Stats - edge Revo
Awakenings - Tie
Attributes - Revo (water guys get a lotta love; more so than light)
LS- Revo (yeah if you hit four orb types and u used a skill, u got 8x multiplier; what would Ace get - 4x)?
AS- Ace (but so what, ur just gonna get a 6x multiplier out of it; Revo could get 10x)!
Type - Revo, devil/god/attacker

So Revo is your winner but just be prepared to feed him tons of red dragons and present eggs as he needs 16,000,000 to max out.
Paragon 3 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
I went with HorAce cause his active is actually useful, and he gains a Devil Killer awoken.

Active - Revo because of that 4 turn CD which allows for easily achieved inherit skills
By Derek71 3 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
Revo Horus came out today and I have been testing him out. I have not been happy with Horus in the past because he was quickly surpassed by 10x row-based teams and just seemed weak. It was so annoying to throw down a full combo attack and watch damage fizzle out at the 15% mark. He is now a lot more fun to play. For those questioning "which Horus," here are some notes and feedback

My team (hastily thrown together--suboptimal)
Revo Horus
Dino Rider
Revo Minerva
Chibi Sonia (for color coverage only--to be replaced by Awoken Hino)
Awoken Cao Cao
Revo Horus

Damage: Without skill usage, my leader damage ranged between 300-700K, depending on combos and TPA. Total team damage was probably 1 to 3 million.
With skill usage, leader damage jumped up to 1.4 to 3.6 million. Team was probably putting out 6-15 million. The extra TPA helps bump it up there. This is more than a 4x increase from the non-skill boards, probably due to improving the board and combo count.

Horus heals like crazy when a skill is used, but I find it fundamentally conflicted. A good skill for Horus in the past was typically a heartbreaker because it simplified the board and gave you more damage combos. If you need to heal, but want to simplify the board, now you have to convert a color (Minerva, Cao Cao). That lets you heal up, but it limits the damage to 64X. That is still better than before, but if you have to have that 100X, you are now dependent on skyfall. Of course, you can always use non-orb changing skills, but you had better be good at your combos.

Notes on subs: I have not used dino rider in along time, but its ability to clear jammers and poison, relatively low CD, and double TPAs worked great on this team. I might sub a second one in for Cao Cao. Alternatively, I have an un-evo' Set card sitting around collecting dust. On that point, Hino and Set's triple TPAs should give some impressive damage.

This card really works great as a TPA based team. It does not hit as hard as my row-based teams (Ilm, Sarasvati), but it is now much closer than it was in the past. The added advantage is that the sub pool tends to have short cool-downs (5-7 turns) so that you can potentially run longer dungeons with it.

Hey GH, make a leader skill that ups if you match +1x for all orb types including jammer, poison, heart, etc
By Riggins 3 years ago ( 11.0.2 )
'ATK x1 for each additional orb type'

I'm sure this is stated incorrectly. ATK X 1 = ATK
Ixzine 3 years ago ( 11.1.1 )
When this phrase "up to X" shows up this means the multiplier given for fulfilling the condition increases as you further fulfill the condition, whether that be increasing # of combos, # of different colors, or # of one color matched.

Ummmm I do believe R. Horus’s first two awakenings are fire orb enhances, not a 7c and a skill boost.
By aszma 3 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
Your kinda like an upgraded awoken Caocao high burst but lacking in HP and instead of mashing red orbs together you have to combo. Seeing how cao cao didnt last long in the meta i dont see how you are either which is kinda sad as horus was an OG.

PS anyone else mad about how they treated horus part of the reason why Im never getting the revo form is because I devolved my max skilled awoken horus for the ACE version which I maxed skilled then they release Serket which gives the possibility of a nice tanky rainbow team with jammer and poison immunity which made my semi regret devolving it then they release Revo horus which means unless you got like 3 horuss and the patience to get all 3 evo versions gungo just trolled everyone that likes to use horus
khaosNRG 3 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
To be fair, for players who don't have meriodionalis / ALB / yamamoto, cao cao is still one of the best farming leads available (and is in fact the best non-collab farming lead for fire). it's not accurate to say that "cao cao didn't last long in the meta" when he is still a reasonably common pick, and can be used to farm roguelikes incredibly quickly, as well as dacho carry through mecha zeus.

It's also not accurate to say that horus is an upgraded ACC because their playstyles are completely different - an upgraded ACC would be Yamamoto, because the ACC/Yamamoto playstyle centers on making fire rows and clearing floors without much thought. Horus, on the other hand, can't just use actives like Sado or Goemon/Surtr and then swipe to clear; he always has to actually spend time matching colors (and can be orbtrolled to some extent). I'm not even sure if the damage is an upgrade, because it's much easier for monocolor rows to deal consistent high damage than rainbow/combo two-prongs.

In any case, none of the horuses have been significant in the meta for a long time.
aszma in reply to khaosNRG 3 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
I think your confusing Meta with good farming lead. CaoCao is an awesome farming lead sure but hes not tackling any of the end game dungeons. he has good burst but thats all he has going for him which is heavily reliant on his actives when now a days to be meta you need good tanking capabilities along with consistent high damage and everything in between. hense why cross leaders and gods like krishna and what not are meta they come with much more survivability and utility and can make use of inherited skills unlike ACC.

I would also argue that although ACC and revo horus play differently (combos vs rows) the base of their play style are the same, use an active get an ATK and RCV multiplier and that he is an upgrade to ACC if your half decent at comboing. For starters revo horus has a much more flexable sub pool to ACC, shorter active to help spam his LS, in my testing although i just got him in comparison to ACC consistent damage, plus I have a much easier time stalling with revo horus.

all im getting across is that i feel like revo horus wont be very meta like ACC and also gets eclipsed by revo ra and ulty ra dragon which is disappointing because i was hoping the revo series would bring a lot of the egyption gods back which i think they failed to do to an extent but of corse by all means if you like useing both leaders and thats all you have use them I dont think ACC is meta but i still use him a ton because i think hes very fun.

just as reference these are my ACC and revo horus teams maybe im just not using them properly both of which are hyper maxed teams.

ACC, Revo minerva, yamato, gadius, uriel

Revo horus, ace hrous, Dkali, fire valk, awoken isis
khaosNRG in reply to aszma 3 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
It's fair to distinguish farming from meta, but it's not like the farming section of leaders isn't a separate category of meta (MP farming and plus farming is a very big part of the endgame, after all, and farming is what lets you get other meta teams up to endgame-ready status).

And while it isn't particularly for him easy to clear dungeons like A3, ACC is still very capable of beating things like MZeus and Ultimate Descended Rush, which are also annihilation dungeons and are clearly endgame content (no arguments that ACC is a pretty poor choice for A3/OSC/etc., of course).

On the flexibility of sub pool, however, I'm inclined to completely disagree - ACC can use basically any fire row subs (subs with plenty of fire oe are also viable): belial, urd, sanada, RGY, yamato-takeru, ares, elgenubi, antares, uriel, leilan forms, gadius, laila, rvalk, chiyome, ronia, minerva, rodin, ame-no-uzume, scarlet, raoh, etc. and do really well (it's also worth noting that ACC can run a completely viable team completely off farmable subs in a Scarlet system).

On the other hand, Revo Horus has to actually make sure he covers colors, which automatically restricts sub selection, and having to use off-color subs for color coverage if you don't have the best sub choices make it harder to get focused damage: the only on-color board refreshes he has access to are Horace and Christmas Dkali, which means you need either two horuses or an 8* collab card for a near-optimal team. The only real orb change he can use without locking himself out of max multiplier is heartbreaking, automatically removing some of the best fire subs (sanada, urd, elgenubi, yamato-takeru, etc.), and which also means that unlike ACC, it's very easy for his orbchanges to result in no healing for the next floor. I'll agree that it's easier to spam Horus AS for his LS, which definitely makes stalling with him much easier.

I'm not arguing that Revo Horus is significantly inferior to ACC, but I still don't think it's right to say that he's an upgraded form of ACC - their playstyles are just too different, and ACC players are usually focused on speed (because, again, he's a farming lead), which Horus's color match/combo play is naturally opposed to.
aszma in reply to khaosNRG 3 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
thats fair enough i guess when you look at farming as a whole as a completely diffrent meta which is fair sense it is a big aspect of end game content ACC and Revo horus are fairly diffrent.
