hahaha, her name in-game is literally "Kali (coloring book contest)" They did not shy at all away from why she exists

Froz 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
The fact that they named her so literally makes me afraid that she won't ever make it to NA.

Echo12 in reply to Froz 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
It made it's way to NA in just a few months. Looks llike GungHo really wanted to prove you wrong.

free 7* gfe and the page is littered with complaints about the colouring tactics, ethical impact on children and let's not forget the whole "if x card was more like y card" redundancy.

Long live the ability to exhaust septic opinions to a community that doesn't gaf about who/how old/what colours were used.
*Because a blue kali is just fn cool and on top of that she's free....If your lucky!
Only a fool squanders a blessing.

The rainbow Kali set is complete.

Red Kali from the XMas egg machine.

Blue Kali here, from the GungHo PEM.

Green Kali from PAD Academy.

Light and Dark, the original 2 from the normal REM.

FlyingKing 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
There's also Dark Kali from the Halloween REM.

151 pulls, didn't get her. Oh well, 4 297's as a consolation isn't bad.

Mr Wiggles 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
I used up nearly a year's worth of hoarded PAL point mails to roll about 300 times, and never got her either ;_; But yeah, seven more +297's is twice as many as I had before, so I shouldn't really be complaining :J

It looks like the rate is about 1/100 pulls on the special pal egg machine. Though I'd say it's pretty worth it for all the + eggs you get.

Since we got a GFE in pal points now, we should get LMeta the next time they do this! You know, to make it free for everyone if it isn't viable.

This would be a pretty good sub for Awoken Sun Quan and Awoken Hermes.

Blue main attribute with double TPAs and an active which ensures LS activation. The board can also be fixed up with another orb changer like Scheat, Hermes, Hatsume.

You can finally make a whole team out of kalis, with light and coloring being the leaders. same leader skill efects as having double L.Kali, so 11 skill boosts, 5 second movetime increase. Too bad I only have L.Kali....

Her name should've been; "Goddess of Coloring, Kali".

Seriously, who's complaining about a 7 star usable monster from the PAL machine? For whatever reason one of the color schemes I'm short on are blue/green so I'll gladly add her to my collection.

Got her this time around. With a 6 pull from daily bonus.....thank you gh. I'll add her gratefully to my collection. Her and wet met are my best water trophies to date.

It just goes to show how common place Kali has become that she is now available through the PEM.

>neither Lumiel nor Famiel really work for Awoken U+Y

Where did this come from?
0
Rev@PF 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
Well original Kali has been supplanted both as a lead and in terms of her AS by other cards out of the REM.

Blue has always kind of lacked in this regard, neither Lumiel nor Famiel really work for Awoken U+Y for example; enter PEM Kali, maybe he'll see some folks use him now.

This is a fairly elegant solution, doesn't break anything and fixes a problem. Watching the video linked below, I was rolling my eyes more at +9 on every single roll... max PAL points which isn't that hard, free 450 +eggs? Talk about devalued on JP :).

Famiel's board change is okay, but it doesn't produce enough water orbs on average. You're better off using a Kali-style active and comboing with a UY active.

Puzzle and Dragons fans.

Complaining that every culture doesn't teach people to be as hung up on the human body as they are, since before PaD became a thing, I'm guessing.

And no, this isn't "complaining about complaining", it's just pointing out the obvious.

You're free to downvote me, anyway, of course.

It is a colouring book contest, and the contestants are all kids (if I remember correctly).
Aren't you a bit too harsh on this?

What kind of parents let their kids color barely dressed women?

A kid colored this bro. But no, way to be ignorant and be a complete d!ck about it.

Vaedriel in reply to Z 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
First off, this wasn't a coloring contest for kids. It was a contest for anyone who wanted to enter and only open to residents in the US and Canada (per FB). If you can prove it was an young kid that colored this, then I would applaud that child and say, "Great job! Keep up the good work!" because you should encourage children to be creative and practice their artistic skill. It is the only way they can improve it.

Regardless if it were done by a child or an adult both should be open to critique and constructive criticism.

It is how you hone your talent.

I am a professional artist and I've been creating art since 1984, so I *think* I have a solid understanding of color harmony in a composition. There are 8 basic types of color schemes found on the Color Wheel, go Google it if you didn't pay attention in Art Class.

The original artist used, for Light Kali, a Tetrad of: Yellow and Orange (floating petals), Violet (Kali & snake) and pale Blue accents (on her chair).

The colorist for this B/G Kali should have either used:

1) Tetrad scheme of: Blue and Green (floating petals), Orange (Kali and snake) and pale Red accents (on her chair).
2) Analogous scheme of: Blue and Blue-Green (floating petals and chair), Green (Kali and snake).

The result would have turned out better.
