Oh man the healer boost is gone wth!
2
Meowmerz in reply to Trioniks 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
You can use him as a healer boost by keeping him in his current form. :P

Awoken forms typically do something different from their previous forms so that those forms can still have a niche.
1
Madcat in reply to Trioniks 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
Yes, it affects the attack of a card with a water attribute. Works for leadership skills too. A red green and green red card will be equally affected by verdandi's LS

Matt in reply to Trioniks 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
I agree with meowmerz, if u need his heal boost keep him in a different form, this one does not have as much recovery as soaring, or as much attack as bold. If ur using a rush healer team, then go bold, if u need recovery (team with high hp or grodin) then go soaring, you can also search up x2 attack for healer types in this website's search bar, and cards that double attack in their effects or leader skills will come up.

Edit: appears that feature is down for now, Ik u could do it, it may come back

Trioniks 3 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
Thanks for the down vote... but can somebody explain how I can use him now when the healer type boost was replaced with Water? ... will this work for water subtype of monsters like LMeta? I have been thinking about making a water healer team so maybe this is the final reason why I should.
-3
Halcon in reply to Madcat 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
That's incorrect. While leader skills do treat main-attributes and sub-attributes equally, active skills, for whatever reason, do not. For example: A. Sun Quan's active will only boost his water damage, and NOT his fire sub-att damage. Similarly, it will only boost the sub-att damage of a card like LMeta. This is the same way the Norse actives work.

Amazing sub material here. Only thing missing is a time extend. I can throw him onto my Rukia Team.
It's nice having a replacement to I&I <3

The colour choice eerily reminds me of Acubens. Might just be the silver hair and B/R attributes though.

By NextTimeSA 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
you could probably put them on a TPA-based awoken lakshimi team, alongside awoken orochi they could really tear things up.

the only thing with that however, is your two other subs would need to be doing some heavy lifting in the heart and water orb generation department

Never got Rukia, so it's nice to finally have a leader of my Scheat.

Oh, the damage she will deal under his wing.
2
grap@ps in reply to (´v ` ) 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
Not true, look at Awoken Lakshmi she is one of the strongest leads in the game and each leader only has 1 row there.

Hybrid is the way to go. Pairing with Hermes is probably the better option solo, so one lead has three tpa, the other has one. Subs like Beast Rider have tpa as well. But subs like Gabriel and Mori allow you to stack rows. As long as you hit 8-10 rows they deal a lot more damage than tpa on a flooded board, so just use tpa to sweep floors with little hp or when you don't have enough for a row, and rows when you can use a lot of actives to flood the board.

Anyways, my team will probably look something like Awoken Sun Quan/Gabriel/Awoken Isis/Beast Rider/Urd(or someone with her inherited)/Awoken Hermes. Already cleared Arena with it and will clear Arena 2 as soon as I get my Indra ready for inheritance.

Your suggested team makes no sense, Awoken Sun Quan already bursts for two turns, using I&I is a waste of a slot that could have gone to someone that made blue orbs.
-1
Greg! 3 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
Dude I'm waiting for the moment Scheat becomes a viable leader. Imagine all the possibilities!

Also, what's your team going to look like once this guy gets released? It seems like, even with his triple TPA, he'd be better off as a row-guy.

Awoken Sun Quan
Mori Motonari
Awoken Hermes
Blonia
Nut (for low CD to proc Sun Quan's AS)

Not too sure, though. What are your thoughts?
-1
(´v ` ) in reply to Greg! 3 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
My team would be:

-Awoken SQ
-Scheat (Damage.)
-Awoken Isis (Short CD for easy LS activation, bind remover for whenever they happen)
-Awoken I&I (2 more turns for 50x is pretty big, I'd say. Haste is always good, too.)
and then it's one of:
-Sumire (Good utility, but there's worry that her skill might remove the fire orbs needed for LS)
or
-Merlin (Poor stats, but the AS is perfect)
or
-Urd (Off-color, but again, the AS is great. Though, it might be a better idea to let someone else inherit it)

Would really like to put Summer Urd in there, but I can't use what I don't have.
I&I might be replaced by an orb changer for dungeons where I don't need THAT much damage.

As for your proposed row team...
I'm not too sure it's wise to build a row team led by cards that only have 1 row each.
You know how it's hard to get 100% SBR on a team led by cards with no SBR?
Same principle, except its your damage that suffers.
Whatever the case, Blonia has no business being there, considering there's no fire in the board she makes.

it's sad that all water type monsters with 3tpa have to be so low on base attack. He could have been a power house given him +500 on attack.
1
Cornykova 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
Healers and Physical types are not know for their high base attack. With close to 600 RCV and 3800 HP, you can't expect him to have a high base ATK, unless he'd be a 1000 weighted stats monster, which would be totally unfair towards the other Awokens. I'm already glad Gungho gave him triple TPA, which allowed them to give him high RCV and decent-high HP. We can't have it all ;-)

Bro... Famiel is a girl...

Loki 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
Obviously both orochi and Scheat make blue tpas a thing. Other than that:

I think famiel has the highest base attack (1411) of the blue 3tpa monsters, which is only 300 shy of Vishnu. With +500, 1900 atk is high enough to get the job done. Too bad he doesn't make red orbs or it would be perfect for Awoken SQ! Pretty soon we will have barbosa with ~1550 base atk and 3 tpas, so famiel will lose the mantle. B/R colors too!

There are also a few high atk double tpa blue monsters out there:
wiz Merlin (which is basically a prerequisite for an awoken sq team) has ~1950! Only 50 less than awoken shiva!
Ryune is also around 1900

Basically there is a lot of tpa damage potential. One cool thing is that the highest blue base atk monsters tend to have both rows and tpas, making them great garbage clearers on row teams.

He doesn't need to be played that way. He's meant to pair with A Hermes, stall / heal, and then activate a burst.

Trioniks 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
I had the same dilemma and then I randomly rolled another SQ during water gala! Lucky! I honestly would have NOT devolved my B/G SQ if I did not roll another SQ.

With that being said. Does anybody know a low cd water type monster besides Isis? I maxed Aegir and Amon and Sirene of course, hmmm Lmeta has 4 now but she is L/B so a bit of color anyway I am just thinking "out loud".

Would it be worth the extra trouble trying to make a row team out of him, or would 8x and prongs for days be enough to clear out ultimate arenas?
0
grap@ps 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
Row team more worth it, prongs probably could but rows will be better for damage overall. Since many of the row subs have prongs anyways just use prong when you have less orbs and rows when you have enough

0
OmegaCloud 2 years ago ( 9.5.1 )
You actually have a few choices. You could even take out the Andromeda too. I would build ut this way.
-Awoken Sun Quan
--Ult Urd
--Wiz Merlin
--FN Harley Quinn
--Awoken Hermes
-Awoken Sun Quan (friend)
This would be a solid team to use and it would be pretty consistant. You could also throw in the Blue Samurai God so long as his skill isn't super long to recover

Levi 2 years ago ( 9.6.3 )
I'm betting the problem is your Sun Quan is the chibi version. This is a common mistake I see among players trying to evolve their 3 Kingdoms 1 cards.

Check your Sun Quan and see if his name is written as Courageous Divine General, Sun Quan or as courageous divine general, sun quan (all lowercase). If you're still not sure, check the card ID. 1234 or 1814.

If it's the name is lower case (card No. 1814), it's the chibi sun quan who cannot evolve past the first evolution.

And in the future always use the evolution menu to evolve things.

I left my Sun Quan unevolved mainly for this reason. I'm glad it was totally worth the wait. We have a rare Water Delay user paired with a Burst!

With my current sub-pool, he his way better than I&I as a Burst user. I've got Rukia, Scheat (best buds!), Summurd, Nut, and Andromeda.

Come to think of it, this guy IS kinda like a mini Scheat! Fire and Water, high HP and high RCV, and a low ATK paired with multiple TPAs!

I'd totally ship Sun Quan and Scheat! They will be inseparable now <3

Any idea on whose Skill he should inherit? Or should he even inherit anyone's skill?

No way. The way it is now, he makes a great YY sub. Not that YY needs the atk bonus, but the 2 turn delay is much needed.

me too. maybe a buff and not a drastical change like that.

x3 atk 1 turn?
x2.5 atk 2 turns?
haste 1? (kinda nonsense considering he delays)
[ok prepare to kill me after this sencence] delay 1 turn, x3 atk 1 turn but way smaller cd?

just some ideas to prevent that big change. gungho i hate you

By Dan 3 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
Well the leader skill seems pretty average...but doesn't it seem kinda familiar?

Awoken Hermes has a similar leader skill, giving an HP boost instead of RCV and giving only 2x ATK. My point? Look at what you get putting that together.

Pairing Awoken Sun Quan and Awoken Hermes gives you the passive 2/4/1 team with a 5x ATK multiplier on the table for matching Water and Fire together and 2xRCV with a skill used, granting a net 2/20/2. Compare that to I&I/Ryune, which gives a slightly better ATK multiplier but requires a skill to be used to access it, and a better RCV multiplier with no skill barrier.

I'd still say that I&I/Ryune is better thanks to the plethora of row subs, stronger multiplier, and being able to use Andromeda and Amon's orb change effectively, but Sun Quan/Hermes could be a very effective alternative. That is, if you can find a good set of subs for it.

(Edited due to my illiteracy and not reading the leader skill correctly the first time. That's embarassing.)

The rcv boost is not passive
1
Loki 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
I'm looking forward to a pretty simple 2/10/1 with a 2/20/2 every few turns. Merlin and Valk have low enough cd to make this reasonable.

I think Ryune/i&i is actually a lower max atk multiplier, though unconditional 2.5 rcv in case that makes the difference. I've also been playing awoken Hermes/i&i which has the same conditions for this max activation (red blue and skill) and has a much lower atk mult than SQ.

Between Hermes and SQ there are still 3 rows (to Ry/i&i's 4 rows) so a row team still totally makes sense. I actually like having at least one tpa guy on the team in between actives (Vishnu on my green row team), so this works. Since Merlin is basically essential, that's at least 2 strong tpa cards with 4 rows total, leaving room for 3 more subs (roughly 6-10 additional rows--10-16 total-- depending on subs).

The Amon and andro thing still sucks because they carry 3 rows each and have pretty short cd. That might make a lot of people grumble. I'm still searching for those two perfect last subs to stick in there to round it out.

Also, new ideas pop up with skill inheritance. Consider giving urd's active to Amon, or mori's active to Acubens.

Claymore with the new red sub attribute is also interesting all of the sudden for an extra 1.5x at 3cd on a tpa red/blue team, because Hermes, Valk, Merlin, and urd are attackers, and switching to red can be useful if you have a red heavy board and need to activate the LS anyway.
0
Guest 3 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
Objection:
4x x 2.5x atk during times when the active is not used should be 10x...
So passive HP/atk/rcv should be more like 2/10/1 and when not matching Water/Fire, 2/2/1. And, when using an active and matching both red and blue, 2/20/2.

Loki 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
One more thought....with these new blue sub red cards being awesome, I really hope they bring back the summer collab for a shot at summer urd. It's obviously an awesome card for these teams. :)

With my luck I'll get some 4* nonsense but whatevs.

Lightning sub! That's one more option for a massive burst on a massive damage dealer :D
1
KangWonJun 3 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
The conventional Lightning team is light row based unfortunately, it has no room for off-color TPA damagers. Moreover, Lightning teams definitely don't need spikers considering how much damage the team puts out overall.
