This monster is perfect because I've basically forgotten how to combo without time extend awakenings...

Why doesn't she have an extend time!?!?!

Because you need space for ults and awakenings.

The wording on her active is very confusing.

Other users are suggesting that the skill is an additive multiplier to your base attack (i.e. as a+bx where a and b are some base values and x is a multiplier).
The problem is, no other active skill is calculated like that in the entire game. In fact, there is no way to create a description for this skill using only multipliers if that is indeed how the skill is calculated.

The only thing that even slightly resembles what people here are suggesting are leader skills such as Kushinada's. But if that were the case, the skill would be worded something like: "ATK 1.3 for one turn for one time extend on the team. ATK x0.3 for each additional time extend".

I'm not sure when this card comes out in JP, but when it does, someone please clarify how damage is calculated.

Every effect in the game aside from TPA is additive within itself and multiplies with other effects to my knowledge. So the skill will multiply with other damage bonuses but will be additive internally.

IE: 5x Leaders = 5x5 10 time extend on team = 1 + (0.3x10) = 4
5x5x4 = 100x from the leader skills + active before any other damage bonuses.

If it does not work this way I will be EXTREMELY surprised.

So it is for the entire team, just saw a video where every monster hit over 13 million damage, using awoken Yomi. Pretty silly if you ask me.

It's a whole team boost. This part is clear. Yes, it is designed to be an insane boost.

And now that Reincarnated Yomi is out, it's possible to hit over 100million. How the times have changed

For those confused how the math works out, the skill can be reworded as "Increases attack by 30% for every Time Extend Awakening on the team."

I dont understand the multiplier, say you have 4 extend times, how would the multiplier work?
- Is it 1.3 * 1.3 * 1.3 * 1.3 to 2.8?
- Is it 1.3 + 1.3 + 1.3 + 1.3 to 2.2?

Could someone Confirm which one it is? I dont have any of these cards in my box in the series, so someone who could try it in endless. See if the multiplier of your cards get multiplied by 2.2 or 2.8 with 4 Time Extends, Two Prongs, Skill Boosts, Green/Dark Row enhances?

Probably a stupid question, but do latents apply? The description says for "Every TE."

VK 3 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
Pretty sure it's normal awakenings only, not latents.

Hey, let me reward you for doubling ( or more) of your time to combo by adding more damage on top of boosts you're getting from combos. Seriously I praise typeless boosts to no end. 2.5 for 5 time extends is already as good as things like lu bu and he norn Knights, add more on top of that and it's scary.

Ok so, if I understand this active skill, my Yuna team will greatly increase output damage

with 14 ET (Yuna + LKali + Maeda Keiji + Sun Wukong + ATsukuyomi + friend Yuna)
it would be a 5.2 multiplier ? :: 1+(0.3)x14

landing an 750x multiplier would be amazing (144x * 5.2)
(that cooldown though)

From the wording, it looks like big might increase in *duration* with time extend, rather than power? It would be thematically appropriate.

By oZem 3 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
I believe it's x1,3 for 6 turns if you have 6 TE in your team. Hence the long CD
1
Cornykova in reply to yopster89 3 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
It appears to be additive, so 1+(0.3 x #TE). 5 TE would be a 2.5 spike. To justify her cooldown, you'd need about 7-10 TE on your team (3.1x - 4x)

At least he wasn't rude about it, can u please go get some friends?
0
yopster89 3 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
no u get 30% dmg for each time for 1 turn. so if yr team has 5 time extend then u get 150% dmg for 1 turn.

Failsauce in reply to yopster89 3 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
Can you math? You start with 100% so adding 150% gives you 2.5. Please go back to school.

Assuming at least 6 time extends = x2.34. I suppose this girl has very situational use on something like A. Yomi where 6 time extends are already provided through the leaders themselves. Otherwise I think Loki will outclass her.

But she's a gala exclusive, not a pantheon god, so there's that. If only time extends stacked in co-op...

DaWizzerd in reply to kandjar 3 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
There simply isn't any way that is possible. Because if it is her counterpart could reach 16x multiplier. It isn't exponential. In all likelihood its a 1+.3xTE multiplier

Abates8862 in reply to kandjar 1 year ago ( 13.0.1 )
Seriously, does no one understand English or Math? 1 + (0.3 *6(TE)) = 1 + 1.8 = 2.8 -.-
-3
kandjar 3 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
I don't know how you're got 2.34 from 6 TE.
If the active translation is correct, it's a lot more than that.
The way I read it is: 1.3 ^ # TE

1.3^6 = 4.82x for Double Yomi team without any TE amongst the sub...
It's an insanely good multiplier!!

That said, you can argue that it's not really necessary as a Dble A.Yomi team outburst every already :-)

It's 1+(0.3)x
otherwise, assuming 10 TE's on a decent yomi team, your formula would garner a whopping 13x multiplier. Gungho has added some OP stuff but what you are suggesting is absurd.

「 Nytro 」 in reply to Meowmerz 3 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
I just read this and I thought it was hilarious that from "ATK x1.3 for 1 turn for every Extend Time on the team" one is suppose to assume that it means (1 + (.3 x Number of TE)). I didn't translate anything. I read a math equation and x1.3 for every means (1.3 ^ n). Clearly if the active doesn't work like that the description should be changed because unless the laws of mathematics have change.... x -> multiply. And sorry sir Meowmerz but there isn't two ways to interrupt that statement. This had nothing to do with absurdity or experience or "OP stuff". Just because something actually works contrary to the description, doesn't mean you can interpret it from the description.

Oh is it that?

The info I had previously was unconfirmed so sorry about being wrong.

That sounds much more reasonable.

Also just pulled her on my alt. Lol.

You really must not be a long time PAD player if you are taking any monster skill translation at face value lol. The mechanics in this game are quite often different from how they are actually described in the skill or at the very minimum up for debate until proof is shown of how they work.

Anyone with half a brain cell who has been playing pad long enough will realize this is almost certainly 1+(0.3x). Most/All stacking effects in the game outside TPA's use this method. Rows use it, orb enhance uses it, etc. The only reason TPA's don't use it is because they only buff the card they are on and not the whole team and if they were additive they would be vastly under powered vs the other damage enhancers.

Separate effects will always be multiplied together but within the effect its almost always additive. Again TPA's are the only exception to this rule that I am aware of.

Elrond@/r in reply to bobochez 3 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
That's still a ridiculous 1+(0.3)*10 = 4x multiplier on an active skill
-1
Meowmerz 3 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
If there are two ways to interpret something where one way seems strong and the other way seems just insanely, game-breakingly powerful, why would you just assume that it's the latter? Especially when you have zero experience with the card or really any info at all except your interpretation of a translation of the skill.
