EXCUSE ME. (WARNING: Huge wall of text approaching)

Do you all really think she is that bad? Does she REALLY deserve a mere 7.1 rating? NO.

But how am I going to demonstrate this, you may ask? SIMPLE.

Let's take two cards that are very similar all around.

These two cards are:
Sacred Life Goddess of the Colored Sky, Hathor and Pure Blooded Demon King, Asmodeous Another.

My ratings exclude Appearance, which for me is an instant 9 on both.

Leader Skill: Hathor is 7.3; Asmo is a FREAKING 9.4.
Seriously? SERIOUSLY?! Hathor's Tank wise stat boost is applied to Light cards. Asmo's is applied to Devil.
From this you get that You could run A type-free Light heavy Hathor Team, While Asmo has to run Dark Devils. Always. And both are very weak to binds anyway, so...

Awakenings: Hathor is 6.9; Asmo is 8.9.
The only difference i see between the two's awakening is Hathor's missing TPA. But on that low attack, a TPA won't do much. Also, Hathor takes care of that by giving out FOUR LIGHT OEs. By two leads, that is 8 light OEs. And we all know that after 5, there is a boost in attack. And this boost is FOR ALL THE TEAM. All of it. Tpa's only boost the units who have them. I don't see how a single TPA is worth 2 more votes.

Active Skill: Hathor is 6.7; Asmo is 9.8.
Sure, this one may be actually right, but I have something to say here as well. Most of you people would say: "Nah, gravity is useless blah blah blah" And here is where you are wrong. Gravity is actually very useful, because thanks to it, you won't have to deal millions of Damage at every floor. Asmodeus has a board change. But my question here is: Are you really that desperate to need two Board change actives on a leader with a 95% activation rate on every fresh board, and that can stall very fine even if it hasn't a good board? No. The best example here could be the Kalis on Ultimate arena. Hathor team simply has to gravity trough to get to the safe spot. Simple. Asmodeus? Good Luck dealing 20 milion damage with such team, unless you bring Zera, who is off color.

Team Synergy; Hathor Is 6.9; Asmo is 9.1.
Ohhhh There we go. Are you really sure? Really? Asmo has to get a Rainbow team out of Dark Devils. And such devils almost always have row awakenings, not TPA. And her sub Choice is EXTREMELY REM heavy and dependant. Hathor? You'll simply Throw in everything that has a light attribute and sub element coverage. Hathor, despite lacking TPAs herself, has a lot of TPA-friendly subs, both in the Healer and God sides, and even others. Also, the simple fact of Hathor being a light lead makes her easier to be a Rainbow lead. Light Heavy rainbow teams are easy to build. And to finish this, Hathor can be paired with other Light Rainbow leads, because, why not? Running a god Team? Ra dragon is there to deal insane damage. Your only problem would be to sub an unbindable unbinder.
Running an Healer Team? Sakuya is there, with her scaling multiplier. And she's bind proof.(Sure, this team is less reliable, but you'll have to deal with it..)

Whoa... I really wrote a lot. Excuse me if this was annoying in any way, but I just wanted to clarify.

As it pertains to gravity, I have 1 word: Resolve.

"Get that ham off of your eyes" is my new favourite saying. Btw, I agree with your rant. Hathor rocks.
Jylok 4 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
Worst think about Hathor is trying to find a Light/Dark sub. Yes Dark/Light works too. But in both situations if you wanna make a healer team with her good luck. Baal is the only Light/Dark healer, and Tiamat is the only Dark/Light one.

More Light/Dark healers please.
Sanspai@PF in reply to Jylok 4 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
Type synergy is not a problem for just one sub. Any L/D Works! If it has TPAs it works even better. But actually the most common Hathor team runs all god except for Amaterasu, so it's more likely that you would need Izanagi :p
By Clefspeare 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Seriously, guys. They changed her around so now she has an sbr instead of the heart enhance and you guys still aren't happy? Enough complaining. I know you guys want triple tpas, bind immunity and everything else to make her OP, but c'mon people. She's a first ult, not an Awoken Evo. She will not be perfect! Also for anyone who says that they should've switched out that water enhance, they don't do that with ults.
nathan@N17 in reply to Sanspai@PF 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Not to complain but uy also has 20k less hp. Jesus christ, you guys just don't get it. Not every card is meant to have the highest multiplier with 4 tpa and to one shot everything
Sanspai@PF 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
She is amazing Imo, and no matter what, that one third awakening is terrible, Just like Set's and Nepthys's. maybe one day they will change it ... Would take an heart OE rather than that any day.

Right. Seeing this stuff really concerns me. Like she has the same multiplier as awoken shiva and 40k+ team hp. What more do you need?

They did it with Ares' second ult.
Sanspai@PF in reply to nathan@N17 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Sure, I actually enjoy Hathor without TPAs, She's my favorite lead (whenever they say Hathor, I'm there) exactly because she has that amazing tankiness and power, which allows me to play with much more relax and actually enjoy playing.

But finally hathor has jazz fingers, YAY~

Not to complain, but UY sports 2TPAs and a much more useful active to its team... And a stronger multiplier as well.

exactly! i can't understand why anyone would complain about her. she is incredible. honestly, Hathor is gonna become the next Sakuya in terms of people NEVER being happy with what she gets. jeez.

Said that to U&Y, who has TWO.
By TrueDragon 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Admittedly, I was hoping for a little more, for example bind resist/recovery to go with her place being the Egyptian Goddess of motherhood among other things, which seems to be represented by the tankiness she gives being "protective." But the skill lock resist is essential nowadays, and that's a lot of damage from orb enhance, and the obvious choice of healer subtype. Oh well, at least it's stronger than her previous Evo by a sizable margin.

It is better but it isn't an overwhelming difference. I am sure an alternative Ult might be not too far away for the whole series since it was released over a year ago and the Egyptian 1 god series already has 3 Ults for each.

They hate her awokens ignorant of how unrestricted she is in her team building (ex. needing to solely build for TPA) and how strong 4 orb enhances on one card is. At the same time overlook completely that she has a healer sub type allowing her to use amazing cards such as L Kali along with a team buffer such as Arcline or Sun Quan. No longer do you need Izanagi to boost your damage.

Please realize that this is a first ultimate evolution of the series, that is actually usable for very late descends. Did older series such as angels, who are finally getting more use with super ult evolutions, or any series that had 2 evolutions (excluding 3 kingdoms) before awoken evolutions appeared be as good as her? No...

I actually don't mind using Izanagi, especially after the 2nd ult he is gonna get, which is pretty amazing, and covers that one HARD color(Dark) to fill in hathor teams, so yeah...

Jylok 4 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
Sadly thought there are literally two cards to help with the Dark attribute for her leader skill and still be a healer:
Super ult evo Baal
Light ult evo Tiamat
While Baal is pretty good, he doesn't quite fit for the team comp.

More Light/Dark healers please.
By J.T. 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Pros and Cons of the Great Goddess Hathor:

- Enhanced Light Orbs: Like Osiris, you can have an extra 2.00x multiplier for light (for Osiris 4 orbs have to be matched for the following Osiris tea: Osiris, Awoken Bastet, Liu Bei, Verdandi and Awoken Meimei. Verdandi will be granted an extra enhanced wood when Ultimate evolved.)
- Gravity: No need to have a real need to burst, unless you don't have enough light orbs or not really maxed leveled. A 20.25x multiplier is decent.
- HP&RCV Boost: She can have a team that can tank and could also heal due to the high RCV Hathor offers.

I can't come up with cons cause I love Hathor and I'm bias so if you guys have some go ahead and post them.
Nemesis in reply to Sanspai@PF 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
A few cons of yours don't really hold up, in my opinion.

On weakness to binds: I don't see how you could complain that LMetatron isn't offensive enough/doesn't cover colors and DKali is too unwieldy/isn't light, and then completely downplay Awoken Amaterasu, who happens to be one of the best bind healers in the game and provides both coverage and offensive awakenings. Besides, it isn't a problem for leads to have weaknesses - that's why subs exist, Hathor doesn't need to be an island. What's more, you won't be dealing with particularly troublesome binds in every dungeon.

On the terrible crime of a single useless awakening: she also has 8. You know, when the precedent for normal awakening-based ultimate evolutions is 7. Consider the water orb enhance a bonus, one that decidedly isn't useless given the existence of full board changers.

On low stats: anything hovering around 700 and above are perfectly acceptable weighed stats for a pantheon card. Her RCV really isn't low at all, even for Healers, so I don't know why you took issue with that in particular, and since she should usually only be used as a lead (according to you, me and everyone else) her HP and RCV multipliers aren't to be overlooked at all. Stats aren't an issue for her.

Everything else that you mentioned are valid complaints with the possible exception of Hathor only being usable as a lead. I think it's alright if cards are only good as one or the other, and in fact very few of the current best leads in the game are that great as subs overall.

Sanspai@PF 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
-Being a rainbow leader, the damage is unfocused, even with 20.25x, it still offers low damage, and needs a burst or extra light matches to effectively inflict high numbers of Damage.
-VERY bind weak, and most unbinders almost always don't have much synergy (Lmeta has same colors as Hathor and has no offensive awakenings, Dkali does not benefit from hp and rcv multipliers and requires a row of hearts to proc the bind reduce, and other Light unbindable unbinders don't give any color help cept for awoken amaterasu in healer teams)
-One of her awakenings is completely USELESS.
-Hathor herself is pretty low on the stats department, even if offering her multipliers, and as an Healer her rcv is a bit on the downside.
-Gravity is always good, but it can be a bit mediocre, as you would only use it on boss, and has no other applications.
Edit:-Can only be used as a leader, since as a sub her use is pretty much extremely situational, differently than the other gods in the pantheon being Really nice subs in some teams.

How did you get 2.00x? From 4 Light OE, you should be getting a bonus (.05*4)=.20x, so 1.20x.
Sanspai@PF in reply to Nemesis 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Well, I'm sorry it looked like that, but I did not mean to downplay Awoken Amaterasu, probably it's just because I am not aknowledged about Hathor healer teams, as I run God ones.
Actually Amaterasu is Amazing in Hathor teams, with her perfect skill, color coverage, 1 TPA and 2 SBR and being unbidable and also giving 2 Skill boost and also has amazing solid stats in HP and RCV for Hathor to multiply. What I meant is that in terms of Damage, Unbinders aren't contributing as much because of their low attack, And that Amaterasu instead has amazing synergy in Healer teams.

I know that what I'm going to say is horrible, complaining by comparing her to other gods of the pantheon.
But actually, You can see that as an example, Osiris and nut got the orb enhances, 2 TPAs, 1 jazz finger, and an heart OE.
I was probably grumpy about the choice of keeping the water orb enhance instead of an heart one, always by adding sbr, as I didn't care about TPAs because all of my hathor Subs have At least 2.

About stats, Maybe I went too far on Healing, but probably it's because I compared Hathor's Rcv with Kali and Valk, who have 633 and 700+.

About leaders, you actually are right. Some monsters are made to be subs, other to be powerful leads.
Kirito in reply to Sanspai@PF 5 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
I disagree. I think she would made make a great sub on an awoken amaterasu team. I've been looking for a healer with a lot of light orb enhances. Also, if you want to form an odin/ama grind team (hate them but sometimes it's the best option), You can substitute hathor for a hera and get the benefit of ama's 4x multiplier. I think she'd be great on any light healer team. Not the best--her hp is not ideal, and gravity IS situational as you say--but pretty darn useful on the right team.

Hathor's Ult is strong, but not overly amazing.

Two orb enhances, SBR and a finger are important additions. The OE should boost her damage substantially, especially with L. Valk offering two as well. It's disappointing that she didn't receive more HP, as it would let her tackle the hardest dungeons with less of a plus investment on the team.

Using Hathor is about eliminating weaknesses:

Binds are easily dealt with via Light Meta or Awoken Amaterasu, both of which are good subs for Hathor. Saving six hearts for the Bind awakening on those two is also a valid strategy for longer binds, as Hathor can take a hit or two.

Covering Dark is a hard sell. I'm still using D/L Yomi, if only because I can't roll Izanagi. Outside of those two, there's really nothing. Some players use D. Kali, or Sonia Grand, but they are awkward fits. Let's hope for a L/D healer sometime in the future.

The biggest obstacle for using Hathor is damage checks. Often the hardest floor is when Hathor needs to do 8+ million damage in 4-5 turns and is taking little to no damage or face the one-hit KO. With gravities charged, this is not much of a problem, and a good Hathor player can often find opportunities to stall and charge her Milk Splash multiple times per dungeon. However, challenge dungeons have these checks earlier in the dungeon, and without a damage boost active, Hathor can struggle. First floor Keeper of the Gold or Stormwing Dragon Emperor Threedia is the worst without top-notch play, lots of pluses and luck.

Along with stacking orb enhances and +100 attack, Hathor's healer typing provides a huge boost here. Using Arcline, Sandalfone, Izanagi or even King Shiny can help, and are all but required for many dungeons. If ever a L/D puppet is released, it will instantly be part of her team. These things should make life easier for Hathor players.

All in all, not a top-tier leader, but very usable and solid for Hathor fans.

Actually, Hathor can clear C10s, and Ultimate Arena, if she's not top-tier....
Grey Shirt in reply to Sanspai@PF 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
I am not saying she isn't a suitable leader for many, but a skilled player can make use of even the the most unlikely leader. I would never use her simply because I am no good with consistently matching that many unique color combos (this is why L. Kali and A. Ra sit on the bench and appear as subs for Ilm in my world). To each their own, but as I said, a great player can lead with very unlikely "leaders".

Great leader lol
By milkyway 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
First of all, I am not going to say this is a bad card. In actuality I think it is a very good card. However, she barely changed at all from her previous evolution to her ultimate evolution. I think that is why many people are complaining. When they create a higher evolution for a monster, especially an ulto evo, they should make it noticeably and substantially better. She only got a tiny bit better..hardly worth the evo. Her stats stick was tiny and her awakenings additions were ok but it would have better to add something more useful in place of the water orb enhance.

By Sanspai@PF 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Guys, has anybody considered to pair her with Ra Dragon?
That is, if you run a God team.(Like I do~)

It seems like a pretty good Idea to me, Except that You would rather run DKali instead Lkali, and have an hit to HP but a greater chance to burst.
blumeanie 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
I love playing with that pair. Maeda Keiji is a good light option for board change, I think one maeda and one dkali is probably optimal. It's a tighter sub pool but yeah it's a very solid team, ra dra hits like a truck and your hp and recovery are very good. L/G is a very hard slot to fill but I think Sherospada fits it best.
Sanspai@PF in reply to blumeanie 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
My team goes as follows:

Hathor/Lkali(no Dark one in my box, but if you have her use her)/MiniValk/Izanagi/RaDra

It works good, but not as much as it would with a DKali.

You'd think she'd at least get bind immunity, if not a bind-clear awakening, too. No, it's not an Awoken Uevo, but if your Hathor(s) get(s) bound, you lose the ability to tank your way through a bind..

I hope Awoken Hathor, when she eventually comes out, gets Sakuya's treatment. Binds are a major weakness for LSs that require 4/5 ATT matches to activate. I like the utter versatility she now has with regard to team-buildling, but not everyone has access to bind-removing cards..
By CoffeeHo 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
I read almost all of the comments and I am still trying to figure out why there is such controversy. Would someone please tell me why it is felt that her awakenings are bad. Osiris and Nut, who are in her series, each received four orb enhances and extend time and two tpas. But, their active skills are different than Hathor's active skill.

I suppose my question is this: are those two tpas better than a skill boost and a skill bind resistence?
Last edited by CoffeeHo 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
Sanspai@PF 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
Hathor herself does not need any TPAs. And given her static boosts to HP and RCV, her Atk boost is more than perfect. Also, most (If not all) of her optimal subs jabe 2-3 TPAs.

Hathor is not a spike team. You will want stall capacity. So, SB and SBR>>> 2TPAs

As it pertains to gravity, Resolve and Kali are key words.
Last edited by Sanspai@PF 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
Ea 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
No, tpas arent needed on hathor. Orb enhances alone can give you very nice bonuses and hathor has 4 light on her own. 8 orb enhance awakenings gives a larger bonus than one tpa and will effect all of your light monsters, stacking with existing tpas or rows of you choose to use them.

Skill boosts are much better than tpas, as most players rely on active skills like Kali for leaders like Hathor, and skill bind resists are also nice to have for that reason. Hathor is everything you need in a tanky leader that still dishes out tons of damage.

Edit: now that I have mine fully awakened and max level, I can show that two hathors (8 orb enances) grants a 1.65 multiplier for 3 light orbs. Factor in your subs and you'll be approaching 2tpa worth of damage for each light monster.

Has anyone thought of using A. yomi with her?
So admittedly, I was very disappointed when this first came out. But upon further thought (and rolling second Lkali from pcgf, I'm non iap), with the right team, this is actually a good upgrade. I may be biased toward Hathor and try to use her whenever possible, but here goes

A Hathor/Lkali/Lkali/Lmeta/A. Yomi/Hathor team would actually be quite viable. 8 OE, full sbr, bind clearer, classic hp/RCV boost (unfortunately yomi doesn't get it, but his HP is already good), and SEVEN fingers. On my current Hathor team I use D/L yomi, and I first thought of awakening him for my future a ra team for color coverage (I have neither dkali, sq, or isis). But I was reluctant because I need his d/l version for Hathor.

But A. Yomi would be pretty good for Hathor. Really good. What makes people not think of him is that he doesnt have light att. But looking further, that's an unfortunate red herring. He doesn't get the hp/rcv boost, but with a team full of healers my rcv is good enough and he has good hp, barely less than d/L yomi with the boost. Furthermore, he frees up the green slot, allowing me to squeeze in a second Kali. He also provides 3 fingers, which helps tremendously. The loss of his light OE is made up for by hathors ult, and he enhances the board after a Kali active, along with additional 5 seconds of move time.

So yeah if you have a yomi then this ult is actually pretty viable, addressing hathors main weaknesses:
Lack of time extend --> 3 from yomi and 2 more from hathors
not enough Sbr -->3 from hathors and yomi, also frees up a second slot for Kali
Not enough orb changers --> frees up a slot for second Kali, which also helps time extend and Sbr
And no OE after Kali active -->full board enhance

Her burst, unfortunately, still isn't strong but with all those other issues addressed, this is a better upgrade than most people (including me) thought

There's no reason to use any monster when Awoken Anubis exists.

I think I'd prefer using Hathor, my A.Yomi is on my A.Ra team and does a nice job there, but as for a leader, I'll take Hathor's flexibility in matches and bonus hp and rec.

Firecat 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
Except there is no reason at all to use Hathor as a leader if you have A Yomi as a leader...honestly A Yomi is far superior.

For those that are lucky enough to pull her early on, Congrats to you. In my opinion she is the strongest early pull in the game and you can use her to the end. Not to mention her easy to get Evo mats(you don't even need to no how to play to get those.) people shouldn't complain about her, even know with all my stronger options I still pick her often.
Sanspai@PF 5 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
Well, pulling her very early isn't exactly amazing...

I'll tell you from my personal experience, That my Hathor had not seen any play before I was able to do Descends. She was basically my second Roll. Now I use her the most though, and she is pretty viable for endgame stuff, I just cleared LV5-6-7 from the latest challenge dungeons with her.

By Hero 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
Maeda Keiji or Kali for fire, Valkyrie or Athena or Amaterasu for wood, Zues&Hera or Izanagi or Yomi or halloween/goddess or power Kali for dark

Probably the best sub pool of any rainbow lead as her LS gives you more consist activation than Ra or a match-4 leader while also giving you more hp and recovery to tank through preemptive skills and the rare but entirely possibly missing two entire colors on the board while Kali/Keji is down. You can go full tank easily with Ra and Amaterasu having huge hp stats, build a healer or God burst team with Izanagi, Sun Quan, you have gravity from Hathor, Zues, Zues&Hera, plenty of utility subs to get full skill bind resistance and clear binds, and your light orb enhances can push your damage well into the hundreds of thousands with extra light orb matches.

Just my thoughts as a Sakuya player that can't touch Fagan yet.

Put her in a orb enhance team because I refuse to let this waifu collect dust
2x leaders ULT Hathor 8 OE covers water 2 time extend
Valk Rose 2 OE covers grass could also sub with light fruit dragon
New year's Sandalphon 5 OE good active to boost team multiplier x2
D/L Yomi covers dark 1 OE but 2 time extends plus CTW
For my last slot (all i have)L/F Santa covers fire 1 OE but ars Nova or Christmas genie have more OE

In all you have 17 light OES plus a tanky 20.25 multiplier 4 extend time 5 if you have genie; plus that x2 from Sandalphon. Hell if you even want to deal with a quick bind could sacrifice some OES to fit a Grodin.

Just some food for thought

My box is full of Egyptian 2's. Are they going to get around to split-ults and awokens with this series?
Boromir 4 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
They just released Hathor's ult.

K¡ngSwi$ha 4 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
Or am I missing something with the OE's? DOOO they really stack that well or MOOO they really not?? 5 OE's max out skyfall @ 100% (+) that cap off at x2.5 for full board?

After 5 OEs you get an Atk boost.

She needs a super uevo or something.

I can only hope that her awoken form is:

All attribute cards 1.5x HP, 1.5x RCV. All attribute cards attack x4 when matching 5 colors, attack x2 for each additional color(up to x6). Attack x3 when matching hearts in a cross formation.

Crosses need to be ended for something new. Too many cards use it already and its getting old to me.

I agree!

I dont know why Egyptian gods 2 are very weak, while Indian Gods are far beyond stronger than most of the GFEs. Just saying..

Been looking forward to the Hathor healer ult for a while now, but tbh, a bit disappointed :(

Healers have a gravity!!!

Awoken Sakuya. Gravity + Bind Recovery at 10 turns.

Hopefully Awoken Hathor gets a similar treatment. Gravity + Haste? Or Gravity + Max HP Heal or something!

Help please. I have Hathor Sacred Life Goddess 1666. The option to ultimate evo her doesn't show in my game. What am I missing? Thanks!
Bestcat! 5 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
It didn't come out to U.S yet.

I'm all for giving Hathor the shaft, but what Gungho did was just cruel.

It makes sense that they don't want to make an already powerful card stronger, but giving her an ult which adds next to nothing is just a waste of resources on both the employees' and players' sides.

Wrong. XQ is the worst light rainbow card that is still used as a leader these days.

Man, If you don't like it, don't care about it. You got an Hathor? Sell it, since you hate it so much.

So please, stop hating on this card. Thanks.

No, we don't. Instead of spouting such passive=aggresive nonsense, how about backing it up with actual statistic that she's the worst?
