This guy does like, everything now. Enhance most orbs, double tpas, add health/rcv/damage, gives you time to combo, and keeps you fed with a steady stream of green orbs.

Why isn't this the awoken art? This art is BEAUTIFUL. It is, in my opinion, the best character art in the game. I can only fear that his other ultimates won't be as cool looking.

He's got a second Ult now, and it's...different. The LS has been greatly buffed, he has 7 combo enhance awoken, but the art is pretty scary looking.

I am happy to see that people here are more sensible (and knowledgeable) when it comes to orb-enhance awoken skills.

In where I live, there are quite a number of people who keep thinking orb-enhance awokens are utterly useless once its total number exceeds 5. Therefore, they judge Ultimate Osiris as rubbish (sort of) and his 4 orb-enhances are a complete waste of awoken-skill slots... Awww man -_-

I suspect that they don't know there is an extra 5% ATK bonus for each orb-enhance awoken now, when you match orbs with at least one plus-orb.

A problem with orb-enhance awakenings is that they do not affect changed orbs, unlike Rows and TPA that aren't hindered so much, which is why some people want his active to enhance orbs.


But for an uevo that uses low-grade evo materials, not bad at all.

You are right about changed orbs.
Orb-enhance skill becomes necessary when we are matching 3 or 4 TPA wood combos.
A suitable sub for this is Melody (Wood/Wood, awoken skills = a TPA, an Orb-Enhance, an S+).

Assume all colours (fire, water, wood, light, dark, heart) are evenly distributed in a 6x5 board, there will be 5 orbs for each of them.

That means we can expect 5 wood+ orbs are present on the board.

If we are to match 1 wood TPA, all 4 orbs are plus-orbs.

If we are to match 2 wood TPAs, 5 out of 8 orbs are plus-orbs, both matches must contain at least 1 plus-orb.

If we are to match 3 wood TPAs, 5 out of 12 orbs are plus-orbs.
we have to distribute 5 plus-orbs to 3 strings of wood orbs, there exist a chance that one of them does not contain any plus-orbs, thus lowering the damage-power.

To make things clearer,
◎+◎◎ / ◎+◎◎ / ◎+++

has the same total power as
◎++◎ / ◎++◎ / ◎+◎◎

and is better then
◎+++ / ◎++◎ / ◎◎◎◎

If the awaken was changed so every orb had a chance to get + when changed then it would be something. But granted that might be a little overpowered.

I'll say this since player's choice godfest is coming and Osiris is so low in the ranking, but this card is actually the strongest offensive wood card if you're using a tpa team. Yes, possibly stronger than Liu Bei and Vishnu.

So time for an enhance orbs lesson.

Many people vote Liu Bei or Vishnu because "1700 atk and 3 tpa" but Osiris is actually stronger than these monsters if you have the right subs (which means one of these two or double tpas monster like Meimei). Let's take for example some numbers about enhance orbs :

5 enhances, 1 combo with one + orb : x1,32
9 enhances, 1 combo with one + orb : x1,53
Just by adding Osiris, you add a 0,20 difference. Apply this to 6 monster and you gain a global 1,2 difference you'll say, while on the other hand, a 3rd tpa on a monster will turn a x2,25 to a x3,375 which means an additional 1,125 for only ONE awake.

However, this 0,2 difference between 5 and 9 enhances is actually a far greater boost than you would expect. Consider the following :
2 tpa monster with 5 or 9 enhances orb : 2,25x1.32 = 2,97 and 2,25*1,53 = 3.4425
3 tpa monster with 5 or 9 enhances orb : 3,375x1,32 = 4,455 and 3,375x1,53 = 5,164

So if you have a team of only double tpa monsters with the same attack for example:
0 + awake : 6x2,25 = 13,5
5 + awake : 6x2,25x1,32 = 17,82
9 + awake : 6x2,25x1,53 = 20,65 -> don't say that these additional awakes are useless


tl;dr1 : Osiris alone with its 4 additional enhances add 0,5 bonus to a 2 tpa monster (like itself) and 0,7 bonus to a 3 tpa. So even wood+ awakes above 5 aren't useless.


The problem always mentionned is that converted orbs are no enhanced. But consider this : the x1,53 multiplier is for ONE orb, is GLOBAL and concern ALL YOUR TEAM. It means you basically have an additionnal TPA on all your team for one enhanced orb in your combo.
With only 5 enhances you already have a 100% of having your orb enhanced when it falls, so if you're converting orbs, all you need is to have saved (only !!!) one orb beforehand, or pray that a wood orb spawn after your combo. if you do a five combo which isn't too hard, you'll clear 16 orbs if you did a tpa. 1 out of 6 orbs are wood statistically speaking, so you should have 2,66 orbs spawning (so 2 or 3 orbs) and even more if you have Vishnu. So even if you convert orbs afterward, lining an enhanced orb is not an impossible feat, but you'll need some luck if you use a full board converter like MeiMei or Verdandi.

Enhanced orbs multiplier consider the highest number of enhanced orbs in ONE combo.
5 enhance, 1 combo with 1, 2 or 4 orbs : x1.32, x1.4, x1.55
5 enhance, 2 combo with one orb in each : x1,32 total

This is a weakness of the enhance skill since it forces you to align as many + in one combo. On the other hand, 2 combo with 2 tpa will deal 2,25*2 = 4,5 (we ignore combo bonus and the additional 25% of the 4th orb) compared to the 1*2*1,32 = 2,64 (for one enhanced orb).


tl;dr2 : converters are not a problem since you gain the most from having only 1 enhanced orb in your combo. But TPA are far better for spiking if you do several wood combos.


With this, you might say that in that case, better to have some additional tpas. But as I said, orb enhance works better WITH tpa. So if you're complaining that he has lower attack than Meimei and fewer tpa than Vishnu, think about it. The enhances awake make up for it.

Special mention : Bastet team is considered the one true wood tpa team, and Liu Bei and Vishnu the luxuries of this team. Well, Osiris has a time extend awake very useful for Bastet and a 4 (!!!!!!!) turn active wood converter for procing the x1,5 leader skill of Bastet. On the other hand, Liu Bei has a row enhance awake which is, admit it, completely useless. Having Osiris will greatly boost the attack of your double and triple tpa monsters, and this without having to feed him +eggs that you'll feed LiuBei or Vishnu.


tl;dr3 : GO VOTE FOR OSIRIS ALREADY IF YOU USE A WOOD TPA TEAM, ALL THE MORE IF YOU HAVE BASTET !!!!

Actually, my post was more about enhance mechanics for people who don't know how it works because the current meta is all about the number of TPA in a monster and rows (especially tpa). Some people considers the enhance awakening skill to be useless, and Gungho probably thinks so too... None of the latest godfest exclusives gods has ANY +orbs awakes (except the new dragon callers who are in my opinion weakers and only need 4M exp).

We can also look at the latest uevo to understand this, the angel 2 series all got an ulti evo which gave them 3tpa and some stats. Same goes for awoken Sakuya, the goddess that all japanese players revere : her +orb was turned into a bind recover.
I put some tl;dr because no one would read these wall of text but the end goal is to make people understand how great Osiris is.

It is encouraging to see someone who truly appreciate the combination of Orb-Enhance (OE) and Two-Pronged-Attack (TPA).

I took a quick look, but didn't delve into your text, mainly because I made similar case studies and calculations before, and drew similar conclusion as yours.

Given that all your wood TPA combos contain at least one +orb:
Replacing Liu Bei with Osiris (in Awoken Bastet Team) does not lower the whole team's damage output, there may even be a slight increase in damage output.

If +orbs are entirely absent in one of the wood combos, this conclusion may not hold true.
Luckily, with 12 wood orbs on the board, it is often not a difficult condition to fulfill.
Osiris's Heart+ Awoken-Skill may help a tiny little bit.

While Osiris is generally a better choice than Liu Bei for the team, Vishnu is still too important to be replaced (at least in my opinion), therefore I am standing firm on having both Osiris and Vishnu in the same team.

you have a undeniable & valid point... i run awok bastet 75% of my games (due to being lazy). I have +8 total green enhance awoks on team. but since most of the green orbs i use are from orb changers. To see more than a few enhanced orbs is a rarity...

Though his awoken would increase the damage output significantly for skyfalled wood orbs, when using orb / board changers, most of the time not many of the wood orbs would be enhanced. So all these wood+ awokens would not have much of an effect when you are about to do some serious damage.

I would be glad to sacrifice one or two turns of his cooldown to have the enhance-orb effect. Even just enhancing half of the wood orbs would make a significant difference.

There are subs for that. Since I'm non-IAP my verdandi team is enhanced orb/balanced focused and uses Armadel who spawns 2 wood orbs then enhances all wood orbs. 6 turn tpa generating orb enhance would be too good for one card.

Woodsie. Verd is the only rem card. The build I use is verd, arma, zeal, cu chu, woodsie. I actually do quite well for what I have.

Granted that specific REM cards perform better than some farmable cards, farmable cards can still do fairly good.

We can start with a mostly farmable team, and slowly replace the subs with better cards if we pull them.

That's what this game is all about. Well, mostly.

Trust me I know. I remember what it was like when I started and what's still going on now. I'm just lucky to have some great leads like verd, Lkali, and Ronia. There are so many cards with a giant I want stamp on them and I have to make due without them. I'm proud to have made it rather far in this game as a non-IAP.", granted I do drop money on this game occasionally, but not at ridiculous levels usually 10 maybe 5 when a great godfest pops up.

Awoken Venus enhances every 5 turns PLUS mini Change the World. If that's not broken then Osiris enhancing every 4 turns without that isn't broken either lol.

He actually does not need to enhance orbs in his active since having 5 +orb awakenings on one team already make it so all the wood orbs that appear on the board already are plus orbs.

Edit: I just tested it because of some comments below. It indeed does not give plusses to those green orbs that have been orb changed do to a skill. the awakenings only give plusses to to skyfalls. So now I agree with your comment and would like his skill to enhance as well.

I love how his pet in his first form is sitting on his lap, the second form you can see the head just barely poking out, and here you can see them side by side. Also, when medjedra got his/her very own card, you can see osiris standing in the background. Ah, Gungho.

I just got this guy twice from today's godfest. I've been running Awoken Yomi off and on but now I'm starting to think I might have a usable wood team for her. Double Osiris, Liu Bei and Kushi (partially because she's literally my only other green REM card, but also because she brings some great utility and RCV to the team) sounds pretty decent on paper. Especially if I can max skill these two, that's basically a guaranteed activation every other turn! Having both dark and grass as potential damage as well gives me more opportunity to deal significant damage without relying on enough of one color to show up.

Osiris is one of the most useful skills for skill inheritance. I put him on Vishnu for a 10 cd tpa and it works wonders.

He has good synergy with the double-Vishnu system. Vishnu makes skyfall wood orbs more likely (almost double in 6-color dungeons) and Osiris makes skyfall orbs much stronger. With dual A.Bastet leads, Osiris's OEA's give you about 50% more damage on TPA matches.

It is more common that people use Osiris as Awoken Bastet's sub.

While, yes, double Osiris Leaders have good amount of HP and Rcv, which makes the team safe (most of the time) and still powerful.

But if you are facing either one of the Kalis in the Py-Dungeon, with 30+Million HP,
who will instant-kill you when her HP > 65%.
You will be better-off using Awoken Bastet to deal 20+Million damage (10+Mil when halved by Kali's pre-emptive buff skill which lasts for 1 turn only) to get her HP to < 65%, so that she won't use that instant-kill attack. Scary.

Well he seems pretty diverse, but he wouldn't get any real benefit from gzl. Gzl isn't the best lead or best card for all green teams. To be honest looking at his leader skill I'd rather use him as a lead than gzl. I get that gzl has an easier condition, but if you're trained well enough with combos then the end result would be consistent 1.8225/12.25/1.8225 plus insane plus orb power. If you went all balanced Osiris then you get 8 from the Osirises, then whatever else you can pour on top. I'd recommend from the lists of subs I know, armadel (2+), cu chu (1+), Delgado(1+ I think), and whatever else you want I'd use Verdandi(2+). That's 14 orb enhances, at least 1 tpa on all aside from armadel, and good enough actives that get up quick enough to really stick it to someone. I'd train in combos for that kind of thing.

I am really looking forward to this.

I don't hane Verdandi, but I could always imagine possible teams and calculate the expected damage they can do.

It is just one of my peculiar ways of enjoying this game ~

Not sure what they'd improve with her. To be honest I'd be sad if they retyped her to attacker, not for any reason other than the fact that I think gzl is over rated. I saw on awoken susano-o that someone mentioned he didn't have attacker so he wouldn't be really good on a verd team. I know that gzl is a good card, but I don't like seeing him everywhere and I'd also like seeing better balanced support for verd.



More awokens and better stats are what I can think to add. Improving her LS would be a bit ridiculous and I can't imagine them doing much else aside from haste on her AS. That's only what I think though.

For leader skills, I could only think of conditional extra x1.2 ATK.
The condition can either be matching a number of combos, or using a skill
I pray that it is NOT going to be, like, matching 1 or 2 strings of heart orbs, or 5 wood orbs with at least 1 +orb in it. No thanks.

Or, even without the extra ATK multiplier, relaxing the condition for HPx1.5 is also fine with me, such as Cards having Fire Attribute OR God-Type will enjoy the HPx1.5 benefit, meaning that Osiris is eligible, too (without Fire-attribute).

For awoken skills, an extra orb-enhance and an extra TPA are welcome.

Though you can't really base a card's viability on how well it can clear Ultimate Arena. That's going to take specific builds to clear, and only a handful of teams actually clear it with any kind of semi consistency.

1) The new Green Puppeteer, Courage, changes all opponents attribute to Water. Obviously will only last for one floor, so I recommend using it on the boss. This changed attribute then allows for the "natural" double damage to occur that is caused by the attributes normal strength/weaknesses (Wood>Water>Fire>Wood). So if your opponent is a Fire attribute, your damage will be quadrupled when it becomes Water. EXP:Wood does half damage vs Fire, double vs Water, so you do 4 times more damage against a Water enemy than against a Fire enemy.

2) After you have used Courage on the boss, wait until you can't tank any more hits, and then use all of the orb-changers that you want to use(*more on this later), and pop Sylph's active. Courage's active never wears off, so be patient and use Sylph's active when you need it. The damage reduction side of Sylph's active, coupled with Courages active, ends up working like a 3 turn delay, except that it IGNORES STATUS SHIELDS!

3) Here's where it gets fun. The other half of Sylph's active enhances all Wood orbs. (*Remember the orb-changers that we used before we used Sylph?) Since we already have plenty of orbs in place from our orb-changers, They will now all be Enhanced Wood orbs.

4) Now we just make TPAs for effect. Both Courage and Sylph each have a Row, but no TPA, so if you have the team, you can fill the rest of the team with Rows. But either Row or TPA will hit harder since the ORB ENHANCED AWAKENINGS GOT BUFFED! You already have 3 OEA(Orb Enhanced Awakenings) from Courage/Sylph.

Since this uses 2 of your six actives, you'll need to find fast orb changers with OEAs to put on the team with it. Osiris works perfectly. Add Zeal or Cu Chu for more fast orb making with a OEA and a TPA as well.

For leads Verdandi has 3 OEA and a TPA, Or Vishnu has 3 TPA and an OEA, plus an active that will produce enhanced orbs.
