Amaterasu had disappeared for a while after the Juggler hit.

When power creep arose and some monsters suddenly grew faster like mutants, there was only chaos and grief. Amaterasu had went to investigate the destruction, but ended up meeting Set, wielding the head of the dreaded Juggler himself, and his new friend, named Gadius. Upon encounter, Amaterasu had attempted to fight the usual way, going on the offensive and regenerating in the process. However, a charge from Set would let Gadius get a huge advantage. His dragons spat out flaming bullets that hit Amaterasu really hard without giving her a chance to heal quickly. Eventually Amaterasu could only flee as the two fiends laughed at her.

Amaterasu escaped to a shelter full of familiar Healers like L. Meta, Zhuge Liang, Valkyrie, and Sandalphon. They were scared like nothing else about what was going on above. Amaterasu realized that teamwork with these healers were her only way to defeat Set and Gadius, who were terrorizing the weaker monsters and cheating the stronger ones for their own gain. She attempted to give the healers the same training she went through to become what she became, but when they tried to practice enduring hits and healing, all of the healers quickly fled their training. They were too scared of taking hits when they got injured greatly. She realized she had to make herself work with her new allies. Going back to her old training grounds, she realized what she needed was to help her allies endure better, and that was when she practiced to endure extremely strong blows by herself, which went really well, and even she realized how enduring hits was her true greatest weakness, which was why she had become a partner of Odin back then, so Amaterasu would heal while Odin would take hits for her as they fought in tough battles. These memories troubled her so as she didn't want to be someone who was just a healer again. Going back to the healers, she attempted to train the healers again but with ensured protection from Amaterasu's healing. But they still fled training due to impatience with her healing. So she figured that she had to be quick with her healing too, and learned to heal quickly at the cost of inferior recovery.

A lucky encounter during training crossed her path with the long-lost sibling of Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, the Yomi for short. She never remembered Yomi's gender, but could remember the playful and happy moments with her brother-sister, until Yomi disappeared during the time Odin and her were still an active couple. Now she had awakened, still a nice and caring guy. And a zombie. Yomi only stood there, moaning and saying, "Braiiiiins." Curious about Yomi's behaviour, Amaterasu gave Yomi a big hug. It actually went well, though Yomi would only ask for brains. Yomi walked away after waving her arms and shaking. Not the reunion she wanted but it warmed her heart to see someone like Yomi again, at a time when her other friends were nowhere to be found.

As she continued to help strengthen her healer allies, Amaterasu had lost hope in herself, fearing that Set's reign of terror using the dreaded power from the Juggler's remains would overwhelm her, and being in conflict about her decision in her fighting style and her former relationship with Odin. She didn't want to be someone meant for purely healing, she said to herself. The discord in her had unknowingly drained her of her previous strength, so her power and ability to hit enemies hard by herself had gone to waste. Suddenly the zombie Yomi had came back with two bags for Amaterasu. One was brains for her, which she rejected so Yomi ate the whole bag, and a bag of plushes that Amaterasu and Odin made when they were younger. The Yatagarasu plush struck her the most, its feathers reminding her of when they still fought together, even through foes that struck them harshly and quickly. After some deep thoughts, Amaterasu decided that maybe healing was her true role in her world. But she would not limit herself to the stereotypical healing role as she had before, despite her lost strength.

Amaterasu came back to the healers and rallied them and urged them to fight hard. The courage Amaterasu not only healed them greatly then ever before but their fear would not hinder their strength, as they would always hit as hard as they could, by working together. Assured that she could stop Set this time, Amaterasu and her team went to the surface to face Set and his heavy-armed partner, Gadius. Amaterasu's team quickly assaulting before Gadius could charge his bullet attacks, Set and Gadius were surprised by their extreme power, taking even heavier damage than when Amaterasu still had the traits of an attacker. When they fired back, Amaterasu's allies were pushed back, but Amaterasu's healing got them up. They continued to blast each other until Set had charged Gadius with the Juggler Head at full power. Amaterasu's team was heavily damaged but that was when they hit with full spirit, everyone of them using their special powers to fight on.

Gadius kept focus on Amaterasu's team, until noticing that Set had fallen. Set, being arrogant, had not realized the threat of the zombie Yomi behind him, and thus he lost his brains. Gadius wept in horror as he retreated, never to be seen again. Amaterasu had finally won, and saved her world. After giving Yomi a final loving embrace, Yomi left once again, unknowingly becoming famous in media.

Amaterasu had noticed L. Meta tearfully leaving after the victory, realizing her power had overshadowed her and made her feel weak despite having amazing qualities of her own, like when Odin left Amaterasu. This influenced her to put her career to a rest. Living in the remains of Wadatsumi's old home, she became a mentor to new fighters, helping them to become stronger, but humbly & honorably. Amaterasu decided this was a better idea than trying to achieve another 15 seconds of fame, when it already happened in her last battle. When alone, she played with her little plushes and thought of Odin. How they struggled together and worked hard to become stronger made Amaterasu realized that although Odin and her were never meant to be, he was important to her rise to fame, and letting her "do good".

She didn't know where Odin was now, but she was not worried, for he could endure by himself, plus...

*inaudible dragon roars*

She felt like Odin was with her the whole time.

LMeta sulked home, saddened by her friend's superiority. Seeing this, her sister decided to throw a party to cheer her up, and to get her friend Gronia to shut up about her new pirate cosplay.

DMeta went in search of Odin, as her pool party would need a lifeguard. She arrived to his old home to see the Valkyries, also looking for Odin. One awkward conversation later, DMeta convinced Claire to stand in for her while she continued her search. She gave Claire an envelope to give to LMeta, and then flew off to continue her search. Later, LMeta woke up to see Chester standing by the foot of her bed. She chased him out, but his Pierdra stayed behind and gave LMeta DMeta's letter. It was a map of Thoth and Sopdet's dungeon, which was destroyed during Set and Gadius's rampage, leaving Thoth missing. On the edge was an X. LMeta flew there right away, as everyone at the surprise party was yelling at Pandora for bringing all the evils in the world for lunch. Soon, LMeta arrived to see PAD academy next to the ruins. The place was desolate, due to it still being summer. She turned around to leave when she felt a hand on her back.

"DMeta told me you were feeling down," Athena said, leaving her classroom, "So she said I should teach you how to lead the Gods in battle." LMeta learned her sister's way, and could now strengthen her divine kin; not as much as her sister, but for a longer time. As LMeta left, Athena saw that LMeta had left behind glasses. Athena put them on and was suddenly inspired to learn the path of the healer. "Heh, no thanks," she said to herself as she took them off, realizing they were Urd's. With her new self-esteem, LMeta enjoyed her party (even though she forgot to tell Athena), now understanding what Amaterasu had gone through after breaking up with Odin, even though LMeta was still just as good at her old job as a healer. It wasn't until after the party that Urd, Chester, and Metatron realized they were Water attribute now. Deciding to use her newfound power and confidence, LMeta, now Wetatron, set off to look for her sister, accepting the fact she would never reach Amaterasu's level of power.

On her travels, Wetatron revisited PAD academy to pick up Urd's glasses. As she left, she heard a roar coming from what used to be Thoth and Sopdet's home. She arrived to see Anubis looking down at something obscured by the bush Wetatron was hiding in. "You did good, old friend..." The One True God said in a somber tone. He then began to glow in a red light, burning the foliage that had sprung up. The light faded, and Anubis flew away, causing a minor sonic boom in the process. Wetatron healed herself from the blast, seemingly making Anubis even faster in the process. Now that the bushes were gone, Wetatron stepped back in horror as she saw a lump of dirt on the ground which could only signal a burial had taken place. Anubis's old staff was impaled into the ground at one end of it, along with a paper reading, "In memory of Thoth". Seeing Anubis's new power, LMeta could do nothing but fear Set too may return, stronger than ever before.

Meanwhile, a TAMADRA, who had dressed up as Yomi due to their sudden surge in popularity, went to visit his friend, who lived in a cave. Using a book of maps it found near a sleeping angelic woman in a forest, the TAMADRA arrived to a cave near Amaterasu's makeshift home, which was surrounded by what looked to be the remains of a tent. The TAMADRA entered and saw his friend near a sleeping dragon. While the Memorial TAMADRA tried convincing the Yomi TAMADRA that it was safe, Odin, who was not truly asleep, saw the TAMADRA and was reminded of Yomi's sister. He then saw the book and began to wonder what, if anything, had happened to DMeta. Overhearing the Baddie, who was the only one he could understand, he learned there were others like him who had sacrificed their bodies for even greater power; Ra, Neptune, Shiva, and one more he didn't hear, as he began to tune them out, wondering what had made them make the decision to go through with the ritual.

Notes: This is technically part 3 of the story, the first part is from L/F Amaterasu, and the second part explaining how Set was an antagonist and also the roaring at the end is explained on Odin Dragon's page.

Also wish character limit was longer.

This is an insane power creep; she's gone and left all other (light) healer leaders standing. Not only cant she be bound and grants an unconditional 9x with potential 16x, but she also gives 6~9k healing per turn and 40% chance to resist skill binds -- partner up with another and youve got 12~18k healing and 80% skill resist with them alone.

More like Abroken Amaterasu Ohverpowered.

No kidding. With her as a leader or friend, S-rank healer teams for master levels are much easier now. RCV was always a strength of healer teams, but now you only need hearts for the very worst attacks. Combine her with a HP multiplier, and the team can become one of the best tankers this side of double archangels, and she still has her ATK multipler.

No one likes adding monsters, because the monster manager interface is awful. You can't filter the select box by typing because numbers are at the front of the names and no one remembers the numbers.

What I've suggested at least 2 times to the padx team is to put an "Add to my Monster Collection" button on every monster page. Click it and it takes you right to the "Set skill level, awakenings" etc page.

That'd really go a long way to making monster collecting on padx a lot easier.

Brak in reply to drgnwzrd 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
The number system isn't that bad. The numbers are actually in the game, so as long as you actually have the monster, you can just tap on it to see the number when you're adding to your collection.
What I'd like to see (your suggestion is good too), is being able to "evolve" the monsters in my collection. If i go to edit one of my monsters, it should have a dropdown of all its other evolutions, so i can just change it there instead of having to delete that monster and re-add the other form.

I know LF posts are against the rules, but for a new leader that very few people have, is it really so bad? I know that if I had an ama, this would be very helpful. As long as it doesn't turn into a giant string of people posting their ids and saying "added," I think it's fine.

Maybe there should be a section on padx for this also. We have friend finder, but no one likes updating monsters. Instead we should do an LF section. Similar to Reddit personal ads.

She's here at last! Note that she is now the #1 god to feed any Shynpy you have. Her active is the strongest utility sub is the game ATM, even edging out Sun Quan as a rainbow team sub if you have a useful blue sub like Muse as well.

Here's a short story:

Amaterasu: No offense, but I'm meant for the offensive healer teams, not so much for the former duo we've done.

We all know she is OP, but there is one aspect of that which is glossed over: With 2 Amaterasu leaders and Sacred Dragon Da Qiao, you have 100% skill lock resist. It might not be the biggest deal, but it is a nice thing to note.

I've never wished for a dupe more in my life! Attackerasu is so different and useful in her own way that I really don't want to get rid of her to do this Evo. Not after building a great attacker team with her. This Evo is just so different and I want it too!!! I think in the end I'll definitely evolve to this one because while I hate the Ama/Odin grind, there are just some situations where that's the best option available and Attackerasu's 3995 max recovery just didn't quite cut it in some situations. In contrast, Awoken Ama's got 9490 max recovery!!! Way higher than even Dancing Light Ama on top of an insanely useful LS and wicked Awoken Skills. I've never been into healer teams but now I really want to put one together.

I'm sure there will still be cases where Odin/Ama will have an advantage, mainly in cases of repeated big hits that surpass the HP that an Ama/Ama team can easily attain (and not just single hits - sometimes the reduction of just that first hit in a multi-hit is enough to make it work - D.Izanami comes to mind). Likewise, she might open up more viable teams with 50-55% resist leaders.

I know people look down on grind teams, but they have their place, and in some dungeons they still require quite a bit of skill and planning.

I'm really interested to see the different types of teams that could come from this evo. Mats are lined up in my box and ready to go!

On the contrary, this Ama has no need for Odin, Odin can only be used on dungeons that have single hit attacks, whereas this Ama says dungeon with no rcv? Perfect more chances on orbs with damage. Healers with low rvc and high attack or hp? Perfect let's show these monsters how hard healers can hit.
Odin has 2k autoheal so you can just use a bunch of Odins so Odin can just play with himself just fine, the point of this Ama is to take healers that are rarely used because they can't fight certain dungeons like no rcv or weird stats and make them viable. I'm not saying Ama and Odin don't work together just that Ama has much better friends now and Odin can go play with himself or go out for some Udon (monster 2105)

Up to over 20k HP recovery every single turn is amazing. Being able to recover easily while still maintaining good consistent damage and high burst is what makes Ronia so good.

Now we have AMA, who has an even stronger multiplier than Ronia and even better healing and stalling potential (doesn't require any heal orbs). Unlike Ronia, AMA's stalling potential allows you to basically pick what you want your board to look like when you need it. To top it all off, she can't be binded and basically grants bind / skill bind immunity to your team.

My team:
AMA
*Valk
Sun Quan
Zhuge
Supergirl

Breezes through the majority of challenge dungeons. Bosses usually only 1-shot when they are at a certain HP threshold. Bring them down close to that, activate multiplier, cover the board with Light orbs and enhance them = overkill.

- You really don't even need the delay on Sun Quan so you could replace her with *Sandalphon, Acline, or *King Shynee.
- Supergirl could be any healer type orb changer that gives light or heal to combo with Valk. Ideally Da Qiao or Raphael (others: *Tornado Holy Dragon, Ruka/Fuu, Wee Jas).
- Zhuge could be replaced with Awoken Venus (or even *Unicorn is healer), but the extra heal is nice to guarantee 100% health.

But again, this is usually overkill and you could fill up the board with light w/o orb changers due to ease of stalling. Just find subs that have good stats.

* = farmable

funny thing about this, In college my religion of the world class we learned about the Shinto religion but most importantly to me Japanese mythology we learned about Ameterasu Ohkami who is considered a Kami and the sun to them. Learned about Izanagi and his wife Izanami, and about his spear and its history. How Izanami became influenced dark izanami through yomi. What is interesting is Amaterasu relation to Susano. I did not know that but Susano was a very rowdy brother. anyways back on point Amaterasu has a very interesting backround history

You thought Attackerasu was enough? Well, awoken amaterasu really takes the cake!
Two skill boosts, two skill bind resists, and a TPA combined with her newfound leader skill really make her better than ever! While the active may have been nerfed in an obvious way, reducing cooldowns and slightly shorter max cooldown make up for it. And even though her attack is low, she can still assists other strong healers to do lots of damage and be able to heal a lot of HP every turn for easier stalling!

I think the new calculation taking into account latent healing is:
(Floor(652 * 1.2) + 297) * 10 = 10790 Auto heal for a single very-hypermax Awoken Amaterasu
2
m.Frog in reply to Yellerdog 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
You can always augment party HP by using HP +eggs or HP latent awakenings on other subs, so I would choose the RCV latent awakening on Amaterasu :)

Having 5 HP latent awakenings will only add 271 HP.
Adding 130 RCV and 1304 auto-heal with 5 RCV latent awakenings is definitely a better deal with or without odin.

If there's a dungeon that really requires extra 271 HP, spending 28 +eggs on a sub is much cheaper. HP latent awakenings on a higher HP sub will give you more mileage, too. Noah would give you +450 HP.

However, if you're going with HP, having the resist latent awakenings instead of HP is usually considered a better investment. If you have 5 resist awakenings for each color, that's 1% resist overall. Compared to 7.5% HP increase for just one member (averaged to around 1.3% increase for whole party), the resist is better because you don't need to heal as much HP. Having 5 dark-resist latent awakenings is very popular for dungeons like the Hera Rush. Hera's largest attack is 78960 dmg every turn, which will be 15792 dmg after Odin. Having more HP doesn't really help in keeping up with healing every turn, but 1304 more auto-heal will. So does reducing the damage to 15002 with dark-resist latent awakenings.
0
Yellerdog 4 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
But assuming a Grodin friend.....
Would having the latent resists be better?

I'm holding off spending my points until I'm sure. Have an Ama now that I only maxed RCV to keep my hp points manageable so I could get team back to 100% health with one match, but with 10x RCV, I can afford more hp and maybe even survive bigger multihits.

Quick question: if max skilled atakerasu and decided to revert to get awoken Amaterasu does that mean the skills will reset to level 1? Is that applicable to all awoken that now added a new version of their active skills?

They're talking about skill level, not awakenings
-1
rak 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
The game stores the number of awakenings as a number tied to the card. There's no limit on that number either; it's not limited to the number of awakenings it's capable of.

So if you wanted to, you could take your regular, non-uevoed Amaterasu Ohkami who has four awakenings, and feed her eight TAMADRAs. She'll only show the four awakenings still, but her internal counter will be eight, so as soon as you uevo her to Awoken Amaterasu, she'll have all eight awakenings already active.

Everything about her is amazing... Except i don't get the Physical typing. If she was going to lose the God type wish it was Healer/Attacker. With her high atk multiplier and ridiculous healing seamed like a better choice. Also would have been cool to blend Dancing Light and Attackerasu into the one true ultimate Awoken Ama! (Mwwwwhaaaa!) Maybe that would make her too OP or is it that healers and attackers are too opposite?
2
draka 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
No attacker would have made her weaker. Healers like both attack and health. At least she gives some health, but in many descends there are preemptives that will kill her. If they made more physical/healers maybe you could get around this, but even a fully hypermaxed team won't be able to do several descends without a shield up. Also most healers have low attack, so the 16X isn't nearly as strong as it sounds. She is really good but definitely not OP. In fact the one thing healers have going for them is recovery and that is useless when dual leads will recover health fully every turn.

Kirito in reply to draka 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Wow u are so right! We really need more physical healers or leaders that with HP multipliers for healers. I just started using her and I found my team's HP is way too low and RCV is way too high to properly utilize her leader skill. The only leaders I have found with HP multipliers for healers are the sticker girls. But who really wants to use them as a leader? Metatron gives a tiny HP boost but not enough for descends. I guess she's back to her Odin/Ama role for me :/

Edit: I've been HP plus egging the heck out of my healer team and it's really helped. Also, they've been putting out a lot of high HP healers lately, most notably awoken Venus and awoken Sakuya. And if I really need the extra HP, I find that adding my hypermaxed ROdin or even gigas to the team usually does it. I'm also evolving Noah. Even though they're not healers, it really doesn't matter much if I'm essentially forming a resolve teAm anyway. Just takes a little longer. Finally, awoken ama is proving incredably versatile as she can be paired with L. meta for a little extra hp, awoken Sakuya for insane power, and awoken Venus or even awoken haku when you need to reduce damage to acceptable levels. And when the math works out, a double awoken Ama team is still killer! All in all, she's fast becoming my most used leader for a variety of descends and even for plain old farming.

Incredible A.Bastet utility sub. Active is better than A.Ceres (imho), fills the light requirement for A.Meimei's active AND fantastic awakenings. I'm going to be rolling like crazy for her during the next Japanese s1 Godfest!

玉折@HG in reply to foxwaffles 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Quite the opposite -- delay is becoming more and more relevant. A lot of the newer descends use combo and damage absorb shields. It's still pretty niche but it's far from obsolete.

A orochi did get shafted a bit tho
1
foxwaffles in reply to Bob 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
His LS is completely outclassed by Awoken Shiva and Awoken Bastet, perserverance isn't helpful outside of tanking DQ Hera's pre-empt (and even then it's not double Orochi, it's Orochi x A-Anubis, and very few can run Awoken Anubis). His AS is just a delay with a very long cooldown. Most everything has a status shield nowadays. Even just adding haste or orb enhance to his active would be amazing. Sun Quan, for instance, delays and adds x2 to healers for 2 turns. It's not too much to ask for Awoken Orochi to have a similar active.

As far as his awakenings, his quad-dongers result in him have a pitiful 1,000 attack. Liu Bei and Vishnu do more damage than him unless you max out his attack. And if you don't have enough orbs for a prong, then his damage output is just trashy lol.

So Tuesday and Friday just got easy.

Tuesday
This, Sun Quan (or king shiny), Venus, Fuu (or Raphael), and Valkyrie.
Make sure HP is over 22,500. Spike with Fuu and Valk. All skills on KoG.

Friday
This, Ra (or mask), Valkyrie, Sun Quan (or king shiny), Fuu.
Sweep floor 1. Ra floor two. Combo well on floor 3. All skills on floor four.
Risks are the Dubs on floor 3 and doing enough damage on the bosses.

In general, the Tuesday build should be a really good farming team. Paired with Godin or Odin dragon makes the build less spikey but a ton safer.

Hi guys, question again. So if my atakerasu is fully awoken and then I devolved to get this version do I need to reawaken everything again? This must be a noob question but hey it has been awhile since i devolved and re-evolved. Thanks.

zels 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
@ Trioniks no it will keep its awaken status as far as the number of awakenings you have(based on the lower version)

PS. not out on NA yet so might want to wait for a bit on it.

I was just looking at Thor, Apollo and Venus and wishing Ama's leader skill was for light instead of healer. As it stands Venus is the only one that matches up. But just think of the potential. 20k auto heal. 9x or 16x all the time. Decent orb change. So many rows. Mini CTW with enhance. Ok spike multiplier.

I know, I know, it would be way OP.

Will I still need meta? Seriously?
1
draka 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Yup, cause of preemptives her teams could easily be killed on the harder descends. Not to mention that her teams even with + won't be able to even take a decent hit from harder descends. So you are banking on one shots and hoping the boss doesn't preemptively hit for like 20k. Lmeta as a friends leader might be enough to save you on those descends and the attack is still great.

Sandalphon too. Usually that 35% is good enough to survive preempts and it also dual functions as a damage multiplier.

SMH why is she so easy to get and this strong?

Arcline/Awoken Venus
Does it even matter? Chibi Valk if you've got her?
Awoken Ama

In preparation for this card Ive been creating a Light-Healer team but have been running into a wall. There seems to be a sever lack of Light-Healer orb changers. Does anyone have any suggestions to get around this issue preferably farmable?

Currently I have:
Amaterasu
Valk (cant max skill or go final form until a collab comes around/I get enough stamina for fatty)
Ganesha UEVO
Unicorn Rider, Liene
Venus (Working on getting Sandalphon so I can awaken)
King Shynee
Echidna
Red, Green, Fairy Tale Princesses (heart makers
Green and Black Sticker Girls
Water Wizard Sharon
and some unevolved gods that can get Healer sub-types like Lakshmi that I wrote off for lack of synergy.

I'm considering UEVOing Holy Dragon to get the Healer subtype and the dark->white orb change but its an unleveled 15 turn skill on a high-cost low stat monster. Or possibly hoping for some more colour diverse strong healers.

Max skilled Valk, Fuu, and Venus makes for crazy damage every 5 to 7 turns. Add shiny, sun quan or arcline for the extra spike when needed.

Orange in reply to Saa 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Still cant kill Sandalphon and switched from Attackerasu->A.Amatersu taking away my Attacker lead. Might be able to tackle her with an A.Venus subs damage reduction. The biggest problem I have is my incredible lack of HP, I cant pump enough damage to kill anything quick and not enough HP to survive being one-shotted by even moderate hits.

Poring tower is arriving so I will invest my energy into max skilling Valk, and once I can clear Sandalphon Ill get two of her, one for my team, one for A.Venus. But this leads me into a new problem. Having Ganesha's dual prongs makes her a powerful sub, but leaves me with two enhancers with A.Venus and still not enough orb changers. And as I've kind of blown through my easy Stones, I am reluctant to make any more IAPs to try my luck at more REM subs leaving me with my current HP and orb changer deficits.

TL;DR: Assuming no more IAP, I have no Fuu, no Kirin, no Raphael, no Arcline, too weak to get A.Venus and Sandalphon, and only a (soon to be max skilled) Valk as an orb changer of the primary subs and a tiny HP pool requiring wiping of most floors.

You'll get awoken Venus eventually (if u haven't already). Maxed valk is essential. Use sticker girls + valk + Venus (or even Ganesha if u have time to stall--and u usually can stall with ama) = victory with enough tpas. Venus helps give enough time to set up the board while Ganesha can let you take that hit if you don't one shot so your subs are actually pretty good. I'm not IAP either but I got lucky and landed DQ and SQ. Ama's best subs are mostly REM only but there are lots of them now and more every day. Just save your stones for godfest and good luck!

How do HP threshold leads work?

For example, if I have to be full health to do 4x, what happens if I get bumped down to 95% by a hit but match enough hearts to get back up to 100%? Do I hit for the 4x because my HP has that grey bar showing I will heal to 100% this turn and the health is applied first? Or do I only do 3x, because I had less than 100% when I started my turn?

What about the opposite, for example D.Meta, if I have >80% I do 4x, what if I am at 79% and hit a heart combo during my turn? Does it trigger because I started at 79% or does it not trigger because I got bumped over 80% while comboing?

Or is it flexible allowing me to trigger both?

The Hp you have when you being your combo determines what will happen with HP dependent leader skills.
So for Awoken Amaterasu Ohkami, if you start the combo at less than full Hp, even if you hit a heart combo during the combo, you still get the x3. Same for D.Meta. If you begin at <80% hp then hit a heart combo that brings you above you still get the 4x.
0
Orange in reply to mccool37 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Seems to benefit below X HP leads like D.Meta for non-grindy levels. Most bosses and important fights are on a one turn cooldown. Take a hit, heal back up and do big damage, rinse, repeat.

Staying at or above a threshold either means delays, healing actives, damage voiding or multi-turn bosses--which usually have a big hit resulting in a wipe.

Had great success using someone's Arcline with ~150 +'s with my under developed healer team.

Max Level Ama - Full Awoken
Lv. 89 UEVO Ganesha - first 4 Awakens
Lv. 85 Unicorn Rider - Max Awoken
Lv. 55 Princess Valk (To low Stamina to get Extreme King Metal) - Max skilled, no awakens
Lv. 59 UEVO Echidna - no awakens

Everyone has no skillups except Valk. With the giant HP from the Arcline along with his useful active to spike the final 30% I was able to beat Sandalphon (albeit just as critical was Echidna and Ganesha's actives).

Bottom line, 2x HP on pretty much any Light Healer with a useful active is worth it. Here's to hoping we have some more Light Healer 2+/2+/1 to choose from. Enough HP to make the incredible recovery worth it and enough damage to ever kill anything.

+30 rcv is on its way.
Base rcv will be 682
+ eggs = 297
Latent awoken skills are plus 4% of base.
Max potential is 0.2x 682 = 136
682 + 297 + 136 = 1115

That's 11,150 auto heal with this one card alone.

Amaterasu has spoiled the heck out of me. Full HP each turn and constant 16x all the while her sub pool has tons of double and some triple TPA monsters.

That on top of being unbindable, having an enormous sub pool in general, getting 80% SBR from just leaders, and having an active that laughs in the faces of both binds and pre-emptive attacks.

Although I doubt she could easily clear those legendary rushes with multiple 5m+ HP bosses in a row; I just can't bring myself to build another team. Help me.
0
Fallen 3 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
Sadly, lots of the monsters in the tougher descend dungeons hits harder than her team's HP if you accident go below certain threshold or preemeptives. If only she could go beyond 30k, she would be perfect. Hoping Awoken Indra gains a healer type!

Haha never mind. Forgot about Sandalphon especially his New Year version but his stats is still sup par.

Probably around early November for US/EU. They are getting better but it's still around a 2-3 month lag between when JP gets stuff and when the rest of us do.

This link has a good listing of what's out now in JP versus everyone else, and the date stamps of when the content was released. As noted, you'll see the 2-3 month time difference in the Ultimates section. We currently have 4 updates to go to get to A.Ama.

I thought I was excited for A Ama, but her potential as a sub pales in comparison to her attacker counter part. I just can't let go of that full heal, full bind clear active. 40% heal is nothing when enemies have 99% gravity preemptive and you don't have a turn to heal.

Her Leader Skill applies to all cards? That's awesome. 3x or 4x ATK bonus with a choice of TPAs or Rows. The way to go, of course, is Light TPA cards. Very nice subs could be:

• L.Kali (THE sub)
• chibi valk
• L/B Apollo
• Awoken Venus
• Ganesha (nice safety Active)
• chibitron (heals back up to 4x)
• LZL
• Kiriko (even though she's off color)
• Ilm
• Izanagi (for burst)
• Athena

Even though I don't have her, I'm super stoked for her to come to NA. Can't wait to see unique team builds for her!

No because this evo is a branch of the original form, not her Attacker form. Awoken evolutions have always pulled typing, attributes, and awakenings from the materials required to make them.

Yes, its absolutely awful how good a healer leader/sub she is.

seriously, you're going to say it sucks that gungho did this?
Assuming both leads are her, she's a 16X lead at best, 9X at worst with no matter what at max level 12k auto heal in tandem with her unbindable nature and near perfect skill lock prevention. Her AS had its time cut in almost half and got a haste with it, even though its weaker it doesn't mean its ruined as that 4 turn bind heal should be more than enough and with 12k auto heal I doubt you'd care that she only heals 40% plus the aforementioned haste to quicken your pace. She's meant for aggro healers, not gods and I really can't see how you can think this card was ruined.

edit: forgot the 4 skill boosts. I'd like to see the subs people would use with her.

Can't agree with this at all.

Her active is amazing, especially compared with what Awoken Ceres's active became.

Compared to ACeres, AAmmy gets 10% more heal, 1 extra turn bind reduction, PLUS 1 turn haste for comparable CD time (only 1 turn extra at max skill).

Only downside it requires more skill ups than Ceres. I have Ceres, but no Ammy, not sure how to feel about that.

Having said that, I think Attackerasu is still plenty viable, and light attackers are still being fleshed out. I'd probably wait until I had dupe Amaterasus to make this one. Both have their uses.
