PSA: Make sure to save craploads of Monster Points for the newly revealed Skill Delay Resist Latent TAMADRA, and feed these to units with a Haste Active Skill. This way, the said unit will resist these Skill Delays, and their Haste Active will get the rest of the team back cooldown properly.

Depending on how these new Latents work, I'm giving my Awoken Susano one or two of them. I'll also be giving my Awoken Ra some of these as well. This combination is mainly for fighting Zaerogoo with safety! On the 9th floor, just pop Awoken Susano first, and then Awoken Ra. This will kill his first form instantly, and he'll debuff you on his first turn in floor 10. This way, the rest of your team will already be up, and he won't have his Damage Reduction shield anymore! Just pop whatever else you have (I have L.Kali and Muse saved for the last floor), and kill him with ease!

Besides this, I'm sure giving Awoken Susano this new Latent TAMA will have its many uses in many other dungeons!

And he has Tengu's scythe thingy.

I think it is pretty cool how they have been using pieces from the materials used in the art

By buttz 4 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Wow, Pretty much perfect except he loses his attacker type which messes with a couple of my teams. I'll probably do it anyway, that active min makes me very happy.

fake edit: just noticed he requires a tengu to uevo. Giving up on the dream immediately.
I'm throwing him in the same pile as awoken hades, Never to be awoken.

Wait until Descended-Carnival is introduced in the NA/EU stream.

They are 4 different boss-rush stages, each having 5 bosses from the Legend difficulty.
Not very difficult if you can beat Mythical Descends. One of them has Gaia, and one (the same or others, I forgot) has Tengu.

The best part is that there is NO f___ing limits (cost-limit, all-attribute-limit, no-dup-limit...)

Though I think the drop rate is 40%, which is the same as typical Legend (or Master, if "Mythical" is not available) difficulty.

Gia is not just about putting some resources in. I spent two months building a max level, high skill fire team for her. I sunk 7 stones into continues and refills trying to get everything right in a run. In the end I just gave up. Unless you have the perfect REM pulls for gia she is nearly impossible. I've beaten 99 stamina rushes, sonia gran and zaerog infinity without spending a stone but gia wrecked me. there's a reason why cost restriction does not happen anymore, because it was and still is a terrible idea.

CatsemanSA in reply to Jacky@PG 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Seriously, that's something people were doing back when Horus was the bicycle you'd see whales using and on every padx team page. Feed some of the billion red goblins you get to themselves. Work on skilling up a lesser echidna. Heck, nowadays you can get a red fairy and run a baby yamato team. There are a lot more options now and you can still beat it with beefed up trash from normal dungeons.

ASuislide in reply to Seg 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Yes, Gaia is challenging but Tengu I beat with mid level Guan Ying Ping team without much challenge. Gaia did beat that same team so I need to throw some more experience at it and get a couple of specific monsters (ogres) for some of the high defense floors, but I am not anticipating an insurmountable challenge after that. I think there is room for cost restricted dungeons yet. Maybe a slightly higher cap though, like 30 or 40... that gives a lot more flexibility and lets' you use REM dupes for useful things as well if you didn't evolve them all.
0
Riven in reply to ASuislide 3 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
Doesn't matter anymore anyway. They are doing away with restrictions soon enough. Things like "blank type only" are first to go. So soon Dungeons like Dragon Zombie can be taken down by any team. But if the monsters you use are dragons they get slight buffs in the dungeon.

<Edit> 2 months later low cost monsters don't matter much anymore. Go crazy evolving them. Costs dungeons are gone.

His l.skill need to be properly broken but just enough by making it 25% instead. 20% is just overall only comparable to Osiris.

By Guggerbunk 4 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
As a lead, 36% flat DR for a pair of Awoken Susano with an easy 9x is pretty neat. However, Osiris works better as a lead if you can combo half-decently, as 1.8225x HP and RCV outperforms 36% DR for tanking. Susano is still amazing as a sub at least.
3
Judicator 4 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Note that Awoken Susanoo's damage resist means that enemy %-based damage will also be reduced. This is unlike Osiris leading his team, which suffers from full effects from enemy gravity / % based skills.

This is especially important if some of the attacks directed are -100% HP. Osiris teams cannot survive unless they have the correct damage resist awakening present in the team, while Susanoo has it as it's leader skill, and, when fully awoken, will not lose it due to binds.

Looking forward to this guy. Obviously a GREAT sub for Awoken Bastet.

Though he's off-color main element, this guy is somewhat tailor-fitted for my Awoken Shiva, as he is still affected by the Leader Skill. He's one of the few Damage Reduction users that Fire-based teams, especially Awoken Shiva teams, need. Not only that, but he also has nice double TPAs and Time Extend awakenings.

Honest to got a little disappointed hes a decently improved version of is previous evos but his role is so similar that it doesnt really change the amount that ill use him in fact in some situations i might rather have the attacker one for GZL and Vishnu

BiggestFan 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
You don't always need a dmg shield. But when you need one, you *need* one. I'm only guessing you're not tackling c10s and such yet, but when you are, you'll realize what a boon Susanoo is for wood teams. Kushi just doesn't cut it. You can tank multiple preemptives assuming you can one shot bosses.

I and many others would have been upset of his role had changed because there's no suitable replacement for the role he fills in an endgame wood team.

DKnight 4 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Yeah, he's definitely husband material for Verdandi. Wood/Fire attributes, and his active helps Verdandi with her weakest point: her lack of RCV. Reducing dmg makes those big hits much less hard to heal up from.

His evolutions kind of remind me of Dragonball. First Goku had dark hair, then he went Super Saiyan and got blond hair. Pretty much for the first 3 stages of super saiyan he was blonde, and as SSJ4 his hair was dark again.

Other than his hand (which I feel could have more intimidating auras around it), the art is great. Too bad he isn't an attacker anymore, but wood teams can still create a whole squad of badass men (Vishnu, Liu Bei, Sasuke, and GZL.) Mitsunari can be the board changer but the lack of TPAs is a slight wrinkle on the manly squad. One can only hope TPAs will be introduced to a split uevo way down the years.

So if I revert the uevo to get this version of uevo does that mean the skills will all reset? I just maxed him out with the latest taiko collab. Pls confirm thanks

yes it will reset the skill level to 1 because it's a different skill.

By BreaKBeatZ 4 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Why is he getting high leader skill votes? I don't see any value in him as a lead. Obv he's an amazing sub for Verdandi, Bastet, Osiris and many other teams though.

I'm running the North American version, and I have Susano no Mikoto. However, Awoken Susano does not appear as an evolution option. Has it not been released in the North American version yet, or is this a glitch that I should take up with the support team?

I definitely want this Uevo, so any advice would be helpful.

Two Susano leaders means you're only taking 64% of usual damage. really not that bad, plus easy to activate leader skill, UNBINDABLE leader, great active, double prong... Use subs like 4x Liuuu Bei for power lol. I don't see why people are so disappointed. I guess his typing could be better or something but really he's awesome. Wish I had a Susano. I feel like it's a bit unfair that he requires ULTIMATE evo Goemon though. Most other awokens don't need that. Heck even Awoken Yomi doesn't require ult evo Dark Izanami.
0
By Skelefish 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
SO I have 2 UEvo Susanos. Which 2 should I keep active. both (older ones) are currently max skilled/leveled/awoken
1
Greg! 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Dude make both into their Awoken Evolutions. That way, you can have an Awoken Susano System, wherein having three of him (one will be your friend's leader) will give you an endless loop of 50% damage reduction, thanks to the Haste part of his Active Skill. It'll cost a lot of Woodpys, but it'll be worth it!
0
Wijden in reply to Greg! 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
I have three G/L Susanos, all max leveled & skilled. God only knows the time and stamina I spent farming Shimonita leeks to max them all.. and now I'll need 12 Woodpies coz this Awoken form is definitely better (he can be used as a leader now).
Lesson learned. I won't skill up my 2nd Yomi neither my two R/L Ares.

By JerrysDad 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
A. Susano
A. Susano
A. Meimei or other super orb changer
A. Meimei or A. Bastet
GrOdin maybe (cause autoheal plus dmg reduction is king)
A. Susano

With all Susanos max skilled = perpetual 68% dmg reduction with no limitation.

That's gotta be useful for something...then again...
0
SixSeven 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
If you get skill bound for 3 turns, then the damage reduction chain will be broken. That's probably why Susano doesn't have a skill bind resist awakening.

So this may be a dumb question but what blocks first, his active reduction or the LS? I saw someone said it would be like 68% but I wanted to be sure. Or does it even matter?

It's the same either way. 100*0.5*0.8*0.8 = 32% damage taken / 68% reduced.

So what's the math on this guy vs Verdandi as a lead? On first glance it looks like this guy is a better lead, am I seeing it wrong?
0
Allegedly 3 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
Verdandi is a way better lead. First of all, her skill is a great board change, which is perfect since you'll have 2 of them then. Susano's shield is not really a necessary double skill. In terms of LS, Verdandi gives 3 - 3.3x attack unconditionally, instead of only 3x for Wood + Wood. Additionally, the 2.25x HP (assuming all G/R subs) is better than the 36% damage reduction (1.5625x eHP). The ONLY benefit to Susano is you also get 1.5625x eRCV, but Verdandi's skill gives you 10 or so heart orbs to mitigate that.

Not that any of this matters anyway, with ALB being a thing.
-1
GoonSrting 3 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
In my opinion, Susano was pretty much just a dragon type golum with much better stats and active skill, making him perfect as a support, while Verdandi is someone who can easily attack with high damage due to not relying on combos.
