He is going to become an integral part of my Zuoh team... You know, when I get around to building it like I've said I would for the last couple months.

He's a great sub for a Mei Mei team when you have a no Dupe limitation now that Mei Mei has the addition of heart orbs to its leader skill trigger. same goes for green dragonbound, seeing she is wood light heal.

Cornykova in reply to Cchu 2 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
His cooldown is justifies because of the 2-turn haste. He is meant to be used when all other skills are used once, to bring them back up for the boss. A lower cooldown would be very OP. Assuming you don't pair him with 5x Australis, his active will be available on turn 4-6.

Cchu 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
If we talk about tough dungeons, no bind resistance=useless 80% of the time, long CD= suicide. With GZL, astaroth, perseus etc available, why should we be excited about another mediocre? The only reason at this time to keep him that I can see at this time is to sub perseus, but only if max leveled.

Twin Blade Brave, Shotel might work as a sub for him, since she activates every three turns (when max skilled) and has two skill+ awakenings of her own. She changes to wood with her active thus making her not lose that much synergy from being a fire ATT. This means every three turns you get x24 for attacker type, as her active ALSO gives another 1.5x attack. Doesn't seem bad to me at all, but I'm not the most experienced player on the planet. You will have to suffer from two turns of downtime with no attack multipliers, which probably isn't great.

Really disappointed that this guy got rows instead of TPAs. All of his best green attacker subs have them: Liu Bae, AMeiMei, ult Vishnu, Academy Athena. Oh well maybe split ult or awoken will get them someday.
1
Pharan 3 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
I like it, Awoken Ceres Sub. Already enough TPA Attackers in the game right now.
1
BiggestFan 3 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
Wow yeah, no TPAs on a green attacker...

Trying to change things up but where is the synergy?
0
探偵 3 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
Same goes for the water guy of the series. His active is perfect for Urd, but the rows throw it off. But it is nice that they're finally adding more water physicals. But sub att. fire?!
0
StaticG in reply to 探偵 3 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
The fire sub type and rows is to make a water Awoken Isis team more viable since it only requires 3 attributes to attack max.
0
探偵 in reply to StaticG 3 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
Hmm that never occurred to me. Makes sense I guess. I wasn't aware anyone used A. Isis as a leader xD
edit: Although his active doesn't exactly make sense in that regard

They haven't been slacking in making sure he can get new subordinates, at least. Exhibit A: The new ultimate for Artemis.
0
Carlos 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Well Michael has a row, Astarot has 2 rows, and now then new artemis has 3 rows. Seems pretty good to me. Maybe Mitsunari/Astarot/sasuke/artemis/Michael/Mitsunari? It has the power of a hero team but with added hp. It might be hard to do long dungeons with the team though. Looks like a good sub for Zouh too. I definitely will be wanting this guy

Skyknight in reply to Carlos 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Try replacing Michael with Mari; she has TWO rows, and her active further amplifies Attacker...um...attack. I'm also wondering about replacing Sasuke with Gilliam; same minimum cooldown (5 turns), and while the active may not be as useful (it turns five random non-wood orbs to wood), Gilliam has the same dark sub-attribute that Ishida, Artemis, and Astaroth have, giving dark matches even more potence. (Well, add little to little...)

EDIT: Then again, Gilliam's ATK is markedly lower than Sasuke's, and slightly less HP, albeit more RCV. Wait for Gilliam to get an ultimate, perhaps?

They are trying to diversify each attribute so that they aren't each associated with a specific play style. Just wait for the upcoming awoken gods. In japan this guy is a pretty great sub for Gon Freecs. Also with Awoken Artemis on the way, green rows will definitely have there place. And you can't ignore that he has a fantastic ability. I just don't understand why people are so upset when this isn't even an ult evolution. Compared to other gods, he is definitely solid for no ult evo. He is just a little ahead of his time. I'm sure gungho will spit out something OP with row synergy. ahem... future Angel and Devil ult evos?

It kinda works though because I use certain friend leads like fire Odin and shiva dragon with rows, plus sometimes I use chiyome (but I just replaced her with Harley Quinn).

It'll probably come around when he gets an uvo. Liu Bei doesn't have TPA until he gets his uvo...

探偵 in reply to TradyJones 2 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
A bit late, but Mori's active does not work at all with A. Isis. You get only 2 attributes when you need 3. So I doubt he was intended for A. Isis at all.

Daniel9dsi 3 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
I'm actually extremely happy they didn't give this thing TPAS. I mean, if it had TPAS, it would be broken as hell:

Amazing active skill
Amazing leader skill (better than GZLs if you can use a skill every turn)
Decent stats

If it had TPAs on top of all these, it would be way too op. Just think of the possibilities. Make a team with these leads, three Liu Bei, and a GZL or something and you have insane HP and controllable 16x ( which is useful for stalling ).

Edit: this might be one of the dumbest things I've ever said lol

Perseus sub imo.

They did say they wanted rows back but green attackers hardly go rows...

Still he has pretty high atk.

Naming 3 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
There are hardly any green row monsters. There are presently only six monsters in NA that have two green rows, and nothing in the game with more. Of the ones with two rows, only collab monster Mari has the attacker type needed to get the HP bonus from the leader skill. On the plus side, Super Gunma does have one, and you can be sure of activating the ATK bonus from the leader skill with it. Even with this, though, I'd say green row teams aren't feasible the way the other colors are. Every other color has at least a monster with three rows, and red and blue have four now.

His cool down is way too long. A mythical dungeon is over before he pops up. Would make a great team mate for Awoken Parvati and Zuoh.

A 13 turn CD might be a little long for most Mythical dungeons, but not for Legend Plus and Lv10s. He's usually up around mid or near the end of the dungeon, and is super nice for getting my Liubei back up.

I think his horrible hp is more of a problem tho... And u also need to use piis if u want to use him now... (I had to).

I somewhat like this guy a lot, just imagine this luxury build:

Mitsunari ----------------Lead 1,
Green Zhuge Liang -----sub 1,
Pirate Sonia -------------sub 2,
Pirate Sonia -------------sub 3,
Pirate Sonia -------------sub 4,
Pirate Sonia -------------Lead 2.

Basically, if the full team is maxed skilled than...
Before the attack multiplier, the team has 1.5xHP and 2.5xRCV. Use this to stall TWO turns.

THEN: A Sonia skill or Mitsunari skill every single turn, and a GZL skill every other turn!
Mitsunari leader skill provides 4xATK when using a skill, and Pirate Sonia 2.5xATK. So, after the first two turns of bejeweled, this team will be a consistent 1.5/10/2.5 spike team, with:

5x Double TPA, and a total of 6 Rows; 11 Skill boosts, 40% skill lock resist, jammer/poison free, and bind recovery with 6 hearts using Mitsunari active.

I like this team so much, although it can hardly rival the formidable Scarlet system...

A wet dream is a wet dream.

Okay, I'm reposting (and slightly editing for a mistake I made at first) from Moon Artemis the list of wood non-fire attackers in the game with row enhancements. (Why non-fire? Because that collides with Artemis's active.)

ONE ROW:
--Hellwind Taur Demon (I'm being comprehensive here)
--Guardian of the Sacred City, Athena
--Marine Rider, Bard Robin
--Gusting Prodigy, Sasuke
--Unyielding Archangel, Michael
--Shrine Priestess, Kano
--Royal Hunting Beast, Griffin
--Thorned Goddess, Valkyrie Elize
--Guardian Divine Emperor, Liu Bei
--Earth Defender--Tenshinhan (Japan-only)
--Shiryu (Japan-only)
--Mandrake (not the Alraune pre-evolution; Japan-only for now)
--Awoken Jord (Japan-only for now)
--Awoken Gaia
--Sacred Tree Sorcerer, Leeza
--Wisdom of Athena, Wonder Woman
--Griffin Rider, Gilliam
--Paradise Jade Dragon Caller, Sonia

TWO ROWS:
--Pure Demon Lord, Astaroth
--Gon Freecss (Japan-only)
--Mari & Eva Unit-08

THREE ROWS:
--Moon Artemis (Japan-only for now)

So poke around to your hearts' content for subordinates.

Does this fit in an awoken Karin team?
0
Ea 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
Short answer, NO.

You can use him to fill both Wood and Dark while providing a water-less board, but I recommend against it. You can pair him with Siegfried/Valkyrie to reach the same board as Karin's active but that's a waste of actives.

By OmastarBC 3 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
He works great with Attacker Astaroth, Michael, Mari, and Wonder Woman. Those are just off the top of my head. I know there are more Wood Row Attackers, but those are the first that come to mind.
0
By JD@PG 3 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
Even though he doesn't have TPA's in a green attacker team, he's still a good sub for Zuoh along with Awoken Genbu.
0
By OmastarBC 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
I'm convinced that he's the reason Artemis got Attacker and 2 extra Wood Rows in her new uvo. This is what I'm thinking:
Mitsunari
Attacker Artemis
Attacker Astaroth
Attacker Michael
Mari
Mitsunari

Now the problem being that you can't activate a skill every turn. I can't think of any Wood Attackers with Rows off the top of my head that have Haste, but if you can, please leave suggestions, because Haste is probably the key to making him an OP leader.
1
Skyknight in reply to OmastarBC 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Gilliam has a skillbind resist, as well, not to mention markedly better ATK than Michael. On the other hand, not quite as much HP, and definitely worse RCV.
1
OmastarBC in reply to Skyknight 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Michael has that rcv though, yo.
0
Skyknight 3 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Maybe replace Michael with Sasuke? It helps that, unlike Michael, Sasuke's active doesn't collide with the dark sub-attribute of Ishida, Artemis, and Astaroth. But the important part is that with enough Kodama, Ninja Art can be reduced to a cooldown of five, which should be decently rapid. (You weren't expecting hyper-consistency for the attack multiplier with THAT high a multiplier for HP, were you?)

Also, the extra wood rows for Artemis are probably mostly to keep her on par with the new ultimates for Ares and Hermes, which also have three row enhancements apiece. I will admit there's a good chance that the Attacker trait had something to do with Ishida, though.

EDIT: Also consider Griffin Rider, Gilliam. He, too, has a skill that can be reduced to a cooldown of 5 (turns five random non-wood orbs to wood), and comes with dark sub-attribute to boot.

I like Michael because of his Skill Bind Resist. It's always good to have at least one on every team.
0
OmastarBC in reply to Skyknight 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Michael has a Row though. It's a Row based team. And the set is about being able to stall to get to your actives. I would choose Hp and Rcv over Atk for this team any day.

Skyknight 3 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Well, we now have a wood attacker with row amplification and haste--Awoken Freyja. Think she passes muster?

And Gilliam has a row as well. I wouldn't have even bothered with Gilliam if he had no row enhances.

Just got this from today's Godfest... what to do with it? I love the 2 Rows, board change and 2 haste, that rocks all together on one card, but that CD blows. Maybe once his skillup mat is available in NA he will make a good addition to my Perseus team. :)

If I am right about the calculation, this monster is among the best in his skill. By maxing his skill level, which 13 turns for just level of 6, it produces green and dark plus heal orbs for every 3 turns after factored in the cool down. Here is my calculation from a team wise perspective.

Total 6 monsters in a team. When the active skill is trigger other 5 monsters' skill will reduce by 2 which can be translated into 2 x 5 turns were reduced for the best case (some monsters may not need to cool down).

Comparing this monster to Verdandi, she takes 9 turns to produces two colors plus heal orbs, this monster is much better. Also comparing this to Awoken MeiMei, which produces 2 colors plus heal orbs in 9 turns (also reduce 1 turn for other monsters), this monster still perform a lot better from team perspective. I mention team perspective because by himself, the 13 turns sucks.

Ea in reply to SirOsis>>s 2 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
Lovely use of a Thesaurus.

By my translation, he is saying that having a team of several Mitsunari together results in a full charge every 3 turns, thus making him better than Verdandi or Meimei (though Meimei does not make hearts and Verdandi doesn't charge skills)

He is wrong though, and clearly misunderstands the game mechanics. Mitsunari will charge un-charged Mitsunaris for 2 turns but then 1 more turn will pass after moving an orb. You still need 4-5 Mitsunari actives to fully charge the first Mitsunari. Mitsunari also lacks skill boosts resulting in a 7-turn delay for a 6-Mitsunari team.

5 Meimei (and one extra to cover Light and Dark), however, will start with all skills charged and will have an immediate chain available.

Sorry, but your badly fractured syntax, coupled with a near incomprehensible, track-jumping train of thought have rendered whatever thesis (or are there theses being posited here?) you initially endeavoured to expound upon an undecipherable linguistic casualty. Such nonsensical detritus is, in this instance, best suited, albeit unwittingly, to be burned in effigy, if you will, as a scathing indictment of the post post-literate educational morass and cultural nadir, so pernicious in it's pervasive, casual culpability; fomenting apathetic environs capable of incubating alarmingly egregious assaults, such as yours...my dear friend in the revolution...on the written word; nay, on the very weft of our seemingly exponentially entropic societal fabric. That fabric? Why, you're reading it friend. That's right, PAD reviews and related ephemera. The Alpha...The Omega.

So ya, l have no earthly idea as to what you were trying to say, but l will always fight for your right to get an education some day and finally make yourself understood. Now pls excuse me while I S rank this dungeon. May your bourgeoning eloquence know no bounds... Unless you're into that.
