Each one reduces dark damage by 1%

Having a single one of these on any monster in your team can save your game from a 100% gravity, which are becoming more common in new dungeons.

Awwwww, and I was hoping I could get Mamiya up to 45% dark resist too...

Only 5 can be put on a monster, so each team member can resist a max of 5%

And if that monster had any, they'd be replaced. So, if I put 5 dark dmg red on it, that's it. I can't add a 6th. And if it already had a 5%, I can't add 5 more to make it 10%.

I thought these things were gonna be awesome. But, they are near useless. Very disappointing.

5 team members all with 5 latent awakenings = 25% dmg reduction and if you got 1135 Elysium, that's another 25% dmg reduction. Get Godin and you're almost immune do dark dmg.

So what you're saying is... with one of these, I can be immune to one-shot gravities?

Couldn't this guy be really useful for getting lower HP teams past the DQ Hera preemptive?

I mean, you'd need twenty of them or so to make a big difference, but could that work?

Hi there,

I am a bit confused. These new latent skills can be put on ANY creature, even a creature that had none prior to that, correct? But, if you put one on a creature that already had 5, the first one falls off and is replaced by the new one, is that right?

So, that means it is impossible to improve any awoken skills that are already on the monsters.

Lets take 2 creatures as examples. Lets take an ICE Ogre that can survive if you go below 1 life in a one-shot. If they have 2 awoken skills that lower the requirement to use skills, you can add 3 other skills to that creature, right? IF I add a 4th, then I lose one of the original awoken skills of lowering the cool-down on the skills.

Lets look at Empress of Serpents, Echinda. Her second awoken ability is to add 50 hp. If I wanted to add the new extra hp it wouldn't add to it and keep the awokens at 3, it would become the 4th skill on her.

Is all this right?

Thanks
Dan

The Latent Awakening system is separate from the regular awakening system. Latent awakenings are technically separate and unaffected by the regular awakenings. You have five slots for latent awakenings, no matter how many regular awakenings your monster has (unless your monster can't get awakenings in their current evolution, although my memory is fuzzy on that).

You can add any 5 latent awakenings you'd like to your Ice Ogre. All 5 of those latent awakenings will be active, and the ogre's skill boost awakenings will be unaffected. If you try to add a 6th latent awakening to the ogre, then its first latent awakening will be overwritten. Its skill boost awakenings will remain unaffected.

You can add any 5 latent awakenings you'd like to Echidna. All 5 of those latent awakenings will be active, and Echidna's 3 regular awakenings, including her +atk awakening, will be unaffected, regardless of what latent awakenings you add to Echidna.

I think I got all of that right...

So... I have the 5 different elemental resist latent awakening Tamas in my box, and I am contemplating on rather to use them on my Lucifer or Kirin. They are both hypermaxed. Thoughts? It'd be much appreciated.

I hope it is not too late.
I would prefer putting these little shields on cards with *100% Bind-Resist*.

In the case that your card with all-element -1% damage is bound, you will then be one-shot by enemie's 100% Gravity.
