Should have done the due diligence on this. I really was amped for this system. I didnt realize these things were such insignificant amounts time and or power. Seriously....It takes a couple 5 star base gods for 0.05 extra seconds......an amount of time you cant possibly think makes any difference. Or even more of a joke is the fact it would take a Godfest Only god plus another 5 star monster for 1% damage reduction? So even with all five latent skills as one damage reduction color it still only equals one regular resist awakening. Or even worse is all five as time extends only equals half of a normal awakening. What a joke....I'm miffed I already cashed in some decent cards for points. Had I known how trashy this system was going to be I would've held onto my dupes and let them rot until something better comes along.

No the resist are great. When you get to the end of the game, 25% resist in all colors is huge. Problem with latents is that most people think they are for the normal game and they are really only for the absolute end game with hypermaxed teams. Most of them are used for the ultimate arena and that level stuff. 1.5 seconds can be a lot with a end game level player, but for the rest of us it is practically nothing. I bet they get buffed once they realize that the lesser players would pay for them if they were more helpful.

However, the fact that gung ho would do something like this...I just found 17 REM monsters I thought I could part with so I could buy 5 of these idiot things...

Twenty for a full second isn't that bad, all things considered.

That'd leave you with ten more latent awakenings on your team to use, and that could be something like 10% dark damage.

Ok, after reading comments on nearly all latent tamadra posts, I'm thinking I will not spend the points I alreay sold dupes to get. I'm relatively new, but have spent a couple dollars. I get owned on *Nearly* all legend and above. I guess I'll buy dragon fruit or sit on the points to see if any... Updates are forthcoming

I would wait. I think they are slowly going to roll out lesser, but still good monsters like they did with the Marionettes. Maybe you get a good sub that in a few months.

Believe it or not, you WILL notice a difference when 0.05 seconds is added. All the more when these stock up. It may not be much, but you definitely will notice a difference.

I think having 1.25 extra seconds would actually be pretty amazing actually, stacking these on my Verdandi team cause I always run out of time to move orbs on that team.

... Until you stick an Awoken Tsukuyomi with 3 time extends; that you will feel for real. I believe this one latent awoken is a bad joke. Make it 0.1 then I might consider it.

Most human beings are hard pressed to notice the difference of .2 seconds much less .05 seconds. You aren't going to notice it.

These latent awakenings are... disappointing for how much they cost.
Even with 5 of these on one monster, it is half of one normal time extend awakening. That's only 0.25 seconds. You will notice a difference, but the price is too high to justify them being so weak. I personally think they should be 0.1 seconds, or maybe 0.15, because it is a pain to save up enough monster points to get them.

Either that, lower the prices, or raise the sell price of monsters.

Yes but keep in mind these shouldn't be impacting the game dramatically anyway... The MP system gave a use for dupe gods that were useless outside crossing your fingers and hoping for a skill up.

Ya....I regret getting 5 of this around the time when they first came out. Waste of MP (could have had close to 250,000). To be fair I thought it was .5 seconds not .05 at first but even then not worth, especially with the new pedra dungeon.

it takes SO little time to form your puzzles that .25 seconds can be the difference of finishing your line or cross or fix a mistake. This is the MOST valuable latent awakening from all of them. Second would probably be the Skill Resist but run with recover bind so it's not an issue for me.

Everyone, please think of it this way:

Everyone wants to hypermax something (whether it be a leader, important sub, or trophy), and it takes a long time to get there. You need 297 plus eggs, but you only get them one at a time.

In the same way, these come in 0.05 seconds each, but 10 of them equals a full half second, which is quite a bit. Keep in mind that these were never supposed to exist on many monsters, and that the latent awakening system is an attempt to generalize awakenings to any monster you want, and ones they don't normally have. There has to be a balance to that.

Please, the latent awakening system is amazing; it just takes time, just like plus eggs.

Ya, If you have your 5 monsters capped out w/ +time then your team gets an extra 1.25 seconds. (not counting friend's leader)

Guess you have to consider the whole team, not just the one card when using the new latent awakenings.

I can see how you have to invest to get that 1.5 seconds, but once you do it will be worth it, and doesn't make cards w/ the actual awakening or skills nerfed/unnecessary.

I can see the twitch reactions to the new system being negative, but looking at it as a whole (as in whole team) it would be kind of overpowering and nerfing the whole game to do more. The game would be a cakewalk...

These come from mid/easy Challenge dungeons. Non-IAP and non-MP playerscan obtain them easily. So, many friends' leads will have these. Extra time is good. It also gives a minor advantage to those who've played longer (through more Challenge series). I'm not sure why so many comments here degrade what's essentially free extra move time.
