Too bad greedy Riot doesn't do crossovers. If PAD was a MOBA, it would destroy them all with character design and collabs alone.

Yeah but LoL has waaaay many champs to choose from. Then LoL could use some pad inspired skins too. Like a Horus theme for Azir, Awoken Hades for Thresh etc. For once Riot would not have to steal the idea!

God of the Destroying Lance, Odin has the leader skill Dawn of Valhalla. Have they just not updated him? In the game it states that hid ATK increases with 4+ linked orbs. I'm guessing .5 per extra orb. But don't know for sure. It is definitely no longer song of valhalla.

Woah, those weighted stats are insane, even beating Blodin. Does this make him the highest weighted stat card as of right now?
Also, don't remember being a gunslinger as part of his mythology. Adds to the sex appeal though.

As my first god in the game, I respect the awoken skills and think they suit UltRodin perfectly. It's not always about making the character as badass as it can be; it's about how badass it should be. Everything completely characterizes Rodin's badassery as a mythological being. He explodes into the dungeon (skill boosts) in order to lunge through your defense with his poisonous lance (active skill). Then he starts bursting into flames (row enhance) and charging right at you with his pistol and flaming bullets because not only does he not give af about your defense but nobody can hold him down (resist binds) especially the ladies ;). If you choose for him to be your leader then you better be a worthy warrior (Attacker/God). His glorious song of Valhalla (leader skill) shall inspire all his followers with the strength (2.5x ATK) and durability (1.5x HP) to push on. ALL HAIL THE BLAZING GOD OF ILLUSION, ROWDIN!

People in the news page did not like that potential awokens are used to make him unbindable. I think it is a really good thing. Even though he may not be able to remove and binds, for any descend that has a single target bind he could easily save some trouble by getting hit by one. It is even better as you will never lose the 4 rows he has.

It looks like the leader skill got buffed a little with a 1.25x attack modifier to all attacks following linking 4+ fire orbs. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why I was getting the extra multiplier sometimes.
1
Kirito 3 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
Confirmed: 1.25x ATK when erasing 4 or more fire orbs.

By Kirito 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
Update: I got my wish! His leader skill keeps getting better and better. With the latest patch, he will be a red Ryune, only even better since his LS works for fire AND God plus you don't have to use a skill to activate the 3.75x multiplier!!!! Like I&I, Awoken Freyr is the perfect friend. Or Pair him with a Shiva Dragon friend and destroy everything!

Original post: after waiting forever for an ultievo I expected something better than this. The other Odins got crazy buffs...he got barely anything. Who is voting on his monster strength anyway...9.0 on his leader skill?!! His leader skill got a 7.6 before and NOTHING changed! I was really hoping for a buffed up leader skill like they did for Ronia. ROdin is one of the hardest cards to get and used to have the craziest stats in the game. But the cards out there keep getting better while he has stayed the same. I thought this UEvo would bring him back to the beast he used to be. Bummer. He's still a solid sub though.

that's 16 Fire Rows, two guys that give a Fire boost for three turns with a three turn interval between their initial cooldowns, and two guys that make the whole board Fire. Someone calculate that damage, I'm too lazy.

Shoukon in reply to AcKing808 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
Rowdin's Attack power:

2143 x 7.75 x (1 + 1.6) x (1 + 1.8) x 1.1 x 1 x 1 x 1.5 x 6.25
= 1246864

Rowdin: 2143
Freyr: 1652 + 165.2 = 1817.2
Goemon: 1259
Whole Team: 10438.4

Whole Team's Attack power:
10438.4 x 7.75 x (1 + 1.6) x (1 + 1.8) x 1.1 x 1 x 1 x 1.5 x 6.25
= 6073387

Holy... that moment when you actually have all of the stuff... I gotta try it

edit: Although it would lower the bulk a bit, you can have more damage potential if you switch around a Rodin lead with Goemon. It would also work if you had two f/l freyrs as well. Even though the attack is lower by 250, if you factor in goemon's leader skill (x1.2 to dragon and physical) it is actually slightly higher. Having two f/l freyrs would also add slightly more hp (580 hp per) to offset the hp you lose for not running dual rodins. Although the x1.2 does not apply to the two rodins, the damage potential is actually higher because of Goemon's leader skill, just more risky. Also, running dual freyrs may not be the best choice because the active lasts for 3 turns, so you can replace one with something for more versatility, like Dancing Hera Ur, Amenouzume, Awoken Minerva, etc.

nathan@N17 in reply to かをり@PG 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
Yes, but if you use goemon, i highly advise not using amenouzume or however it's spelled. Honestly just using another goemon is better, best active with 2 rows and a skill boost
0
OmastarBC in reply to かをり@PG 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
I say keep both Freyr because you can keep that extra boost going constantly with three turns in between each active. That way if you don't get rows you're still doing a lot of damage.
-1
AcKing808 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
16 rows is 1.6, whole board is 7.75, fryer is 1.5, I don't know if any of those have fire plus orb awakenings.

Looks like his leader skill is getting boosted again to basically 3x ATK + 1.5x HP. Honestly, I think he was already a great leader without this boost, but now he's even better.

An OK burst on my Rodin-Rodin team was already 6+ million damage, which now will be 9 million (not including elemental weaknesses), combined with 63,000 HP and bindproof for stability. Team RCV is a little low, 2000 in my case, but it's a different style of playing: consistently decent ATK and high enough HP to tank lots of damage.

I know it's been popular to hate on him as a leader, but I'm farming plenty of descends with him (at least 12 that I can think of now). It's true he can't beat the hardest content, but I can simply switch to other leaders like Awoken Shiva/Bastet/Sakuya for those dungeons, and use Rodin to reliably stomp almost everything else.

UEvo Blue Odin is getting this leader skill boost too.

By Kirito 3 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
Update: after trying out a skill transfer (fire dragon knight), I decided to remove it and stick with ROdins original skill. The problem with the skill transfer system is that when the new skill is ready you can't use the old skill and I found that sometimes I needed his poison and it wasn't there. At this point I've realized that the only thing I'd replace his skill with was awoken RAs skill, but unless you have tons of RA cards lying around (I don't), it's better to keep multiple poison cards. Hope my experience helps anyone considering a skill transfer.

Original post: With the new leader buff he will soon get combined with the potential of the new skill transfer system ROdin is finally more than just a stat boost sub and fast farming leader. He should now be able to reliably clear many end-game descends. I can't wait to see the teams that show up.

I'm looking to add a new skill and I'd appreciate any suggestions. Here are the 2 directions I was going. Not sure which is better/more desirable:

1. Bind clear. Fire knight Dragon - this is the one I'm leaning toward right now. 3 turn bind clear + heart to fire orbs on a short 6 turn cd. Odin is one of my only unbindable fire monsters and so he seems like a good candidate for a bind clear skill. The extra fire orbs sound like a nice bonus although I already have 2 terrific fire heart breakers (Set and R/G Liu Bei).

2. Row maker. Either Ronia or Gadius. Ronia because ROdins 4 rows + Ronia's amazing AS sound OP as heck. Plus I actually like the long cd since there are times when I will need ROdins active and I don't want to be forced into a situation where I can't use it when I need it because his second AS is ready. The downside to Ronia is I only have 1, but hardly ever use her anymore. On the other hand I have a dupe Gadius already maxed and I don't use him anyway. He also has a haste. The downside with Gadius is that he won't make that perfect fire row board, but he does include heart orbs which can come in handy and can always be turned into fire orbs using another sub.

3. Better Poison. Awoken RA. I have a spare RA, but honestly I think I'd rather leave him be since 2 RAs let me clear tamadra dungeons much quicker. Still, it's a nice idea since it has practically no downside for ROdin (that I can think of) and only enhances his AS.

Please help me decide! Thanks!

People can like the being unbindable all they want, truth is the teams he goes on...being unbindable without doing anything for the binds is just a waste. Sure, he can survive a bind but what good does it do when your team (because of course you'll be going mono fire) gets bound and he doesn't. I would've happily taken the enhance orb awakenings, or just one skill boost. Regardless he's still epic and i can't wait for the 4th row
2
m.Frog 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
Rodin as an unbindable sub definitely helps in a few but unique dungeons.

One of the best usage of Rodin is rapid plus-egg farming in Forbidden Tower's Door of Light and Shadow. (challenge mode with 6 Rodins) Getting dark-bound on the first two floors is the biggest speed bump here, so the bind-resist helps a lot.

Tamadra Village's last floor becomes a sure kill without needing to bring or charge a bind healer. Also useful when you're not max skilled at Tamadra Retreat and need to charge Rodin on the last floor.
0
Chii in reply to Nz@PD 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
While I agree the unbindable is just a "go fetch" to make users unable to complain he didn't get anything, his skill may be able to oneshot an enemy that would otherwise kill you since the rest of the team was binded.
With him as a leader (lol) you also do not loose the hp boost and thus continuing to be able to tank a few hits as well.
0
nathan@N17 in reply to Chii 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
I think it should be known as well, that when i said above post..i was also thinking about the end game material. His active won't do any saving (unless it's fatty) but he doesn't bind anyways
0
Nz@PD 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
Nate, you're forgetting Awoken Minerva, add her and you have 3/6 unbound cards to save your behind (if you run double Rodin)
0
BiggestFan 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
I agree with Nate. And I really think people talking about Odin being able to kill whatever bound your team are not considering end game content. What good does it do me to kill something when the rest of my team has a three turn bind and the next floor contains an even more difficult boss? It's not like ROdins active does anything to help me survive or increase dmg output.

As stated, Rodin being unbindable isn't end-game good. Skill block would have been more useful. Offensive awakenings more appropriate. I honestly would have preferred dual poison/jammer/blind resist.
0
E_Kreegs in reply to BiggestFan 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
What about those enemies that bind only leaders? If you are running dual Rodin as leads then none of your team will be bound. I know it's not really ENDgame but I've died several times on Beelzebub descended because Amon has bound my leaders and I haven't been able to survive.

Simply........Amazing ^_^

The Odin's will always be known and remembered for their useful awakenings.

And this guy....this guy....he just looks like a complete BAD@SS 0_0

The man ditched his hat for a a rifle and a handgun.

"Screw the hat, screw the robe(C@cks gun)....I'm going to be shooting up some targets tonight." The guy's pose is quite amazing itself.

And this past Player's Choice Godfest, I actually happened to pull this guy from the legendary gold dragon ^_^

Such a useful and amazing card.

And for the people who are starting out and happened to pull this guy, have no fear, he is quite easy to evolve because of the easy materials required to evolve him. He could be used for a leader or a sub. A leader for farming specific types of dungeons and a sub for giving your team the extra power needed to crush all that opposes you >:)

Such a card with powers that exceed many others.

Now all we do is play the waiting game and because of the rate that we are getting updates, we will soon get Rodin's ultimate in a matter of time :)

0
Guest 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
All of them are extremely good but, I'd say Rowdin is the best leader and Blodin the best sub. Eight rows(Dual leads) is going to do a lot of damage even if the entire rest of your team is bound. As for Blodin, having a less situational active(orb enhance+heal) and better RCV is what gives him the edge as a sub. Poor Grodin is still great, he just can't compare to his super OP brothers.

As a leader he's unbindable and gives your team important stats. I wish they'd remove the "and God" portion of his leader skill and add a x1.5 bonus to Fire RCV, let's be real, if he's your leader, you're probably going to use a full fire team.
As a sub his active skill is doesn't synergize to increase your burst damage, but he's a good stat/awakening-stick. It's a shame how many high def monsters are immune to status effects now a days.

Is it worth using three TAMAs to get the 4th row I'm using this guy primarily as PAL Point bait? I need those TAMAs for Awakening a monster I'm waiting for Tuesday's dungeon to Evo.

Probably not, its not like he's the only card with four row awakenings or anything....

I've leveled past the point where the Odin's lackluster leader skill draws interest.

Ultimate challenge team for speed farming

Goemon lead
Rowdin
Rowdin
Rowdin
Rowdin
Goemon

All hyper maxed except my own Goemon
I was blessed with hyper max friends
Rocking 20 rows skills up quickly
Use a Rowdin nuke for trash mob
Goemon active and let it burn
Switch friend Goemon for fire enhancer like Horus shiva or Freyr for that extra 2.8 boost from orb

I feel like if your replace one of the Rowdin (Ha, I get it) for an Awoken Dancing Queen Hera-Ur you will lose 30% on rows, but whenever Goemon drops his whole board change you can drop Hera-Ur at the same time and do 180% more damage, plus 10% health drain.

If you wanted to go one step further, drop another Rowdin for a Freyer, get the 1.5* attack from his fire. Dropping everything at once would give you a 150% row, 180% +orbs, 25* Duel Goemon, *7.75 board clear, *1.5 Freyer.

Then the question becomes do you want a semi-consistent 200%, or a semi-consistent 150% with a more powerful canon shot?

Has anyone ever noticed that all the Godfest monsters are so easy to UVO? I mean for crying out loud, this guy is one of the best subs and all he needs are these easy to get evo materials.

Just Uevoed this guy a few days ago. He doesn't have a crazy good leader skill and his active's decent but takes a long time to come online. But I still love him because his sheer stats and all those row enhances make him hit like a freaking tank anytime I match fire. The 3 skill boosts are just delicious icing on that cake.

Looks like he has one of his bullets in his mouth, judging from the bullets he's holding in his fingers. :P

So I see he has been "updated", but I have no idea what the update was? Anyone? Am I blind?

Buff to the leader skill to basically make it 3x atk when u match 4 or more fire orbs linked together

Gotta say, he's now my best Red lead rigut now even if his AS is a bit redundant in the face of Ult Shivas defense break. Looks like the Norns are coming up lacking as leads even with new ults, of course they are still top notch subs.

So I dusted off my old Odin what with my red box of unusables lacking a Shiva. Turns out I'm having some fun with this guy.

Anyway some team questions:

Odin
Set
Awoken Hino
R.Valk
???

So I've got an Urd and a A.Leilan sitting in the wings (and Valen, Ame no Uzume, Antares, and Yamato)

Urd:
3 OEs
Synergizes with Hino/Sets Prongs
High RCV
Heart maker active
11 total Rows

Leilan:
2 OEs
2 Rows Synergizes with Odin/R.Valks Rows
13 total Rows

Very versatile leader from early game to late descends. He multiplies both fire and God cards, so you can pair him with many different kinds of subs, including ones that are a different type (like Goemon for example). The main thing he is missing is a skill bind resist, although he does have 100% bind resist for himself which helps in many difficult dungeons, like cave of dreaming and sky prison.

Row, row, row..... Row your boat gently to your demise.

By Limboaz 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
From noob to end game mythical plus dungeons, this guy can do it all. If you ever pull this guy, it will make your progress infinitely easier. His active skill may seem questionable, however it can easily kill most high defense monsters.

He has a TPA style LS, and no TPA, only rows? Huh?
0
By NinjaXue 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
That LS is worded incorrectly. Should be ATK x1.5 when simultaneously connecting 4 OR MORE Fire orbs.

When do i get to use rodin for the assist evo?
-1
By rmixer187 4 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
I was really hoping for 3 double prongs and 3 rows then he be unstoppable but still nice that he has upgrade but 3 row 3 prongs but the bomb. i hope they change it to that and instead of health increase have rcv increase

Well here it is your ultimate team to beat all teams,

*Awoken Ra - Our armored up tank (his ls and active speak for itself)
*Awoken Isis - Our support class (3 turn skill to activate Ra's potential OFTEN plus some def)
*Keeper of the Sacred Texts Metatron - Our healer (Quick heal cd and highest RCV in game)
*Blazing Goddess of Power, Kali - Our caster (skill tailor made for this)
*Awoken Phantom God, Odin (his 8 star when it comes to us) - Our melee (Highest Attack in game without having sacrifice a color with active skill plus a strong poison)

No one on this team can be bound. 80% chance your skills will also not be able to be bound. With some skill and maybe a little luck this team should be able to take down anything.
