Yeah, I'm sticking with my lilith.
Cap'n Port in reply to jro@/r 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Why bother, if it doesn't multiply devil attack?
jro@/r 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
I'll play this devil's advocate. 3k HP / 1.7k ATK compared to Liliths Healer 2.1K HP / 1.2k ATK, and Lilith's Attacker 1.4k HP / 1.5k ATK. Difference is exponential when matched with most devil leaders like Lubu or Beez, or on a Ronia team when devil RCV will be increased. Even if we consider RCV, he has higher weighted stats (684) than both forms of Lilith. He'd be used before Ronia skill, or after Pandora skill.
SvenVvath in reply to Cap'n Port 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
I'm not great but:

When I want Devil/devil atk multiplier I Don't really take Lilith. Even my crappy devil dragons do better. But when I want Devil/poison Lilith is a good choice to sweep a floor or final kill that tamadra I've been stalling on or something. In that case this guy might be better suited for the job since he has "higher weighted stats" He'll definitely be stronger on the team. Also for poison clearing a floor Lilith's atk multiplier gets wasted anyways.

I don't really run devil teams so I don't know much about it, though, but that's why I think you'd bother even though he doesn't have atk multiplier. Also.. purple and green color combo. That strong retro comic book feel.
submandave in reply to SvenVvath 4 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
The big difference between using Lil for behind-the-shield poisoning as opposed to this fellow, is that you don't have to worry about cleaning up poison orbs or having a couple of orphan orbs taking up space. If you've got a way to convert Light first, or refresh the board after this is moot, but what an unsynergistic Frankenstein team that would be.
By slowmo 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
it would have been cooler if his active prevented damage from poison orbs for a single turn or something. but have him still make the poison orbs. that way you are required to clear them all out or face pain the following turn(s).
Darknest 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
How about something that clears light orbs? That'd work too.
Walrus 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
That's actually a great idea specially since Scarecrow's mask filters poisons and toxins.
By Krosis 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Seems like his active skill is not well balanced at all. That's a lot of pain for a little reward.

Thematically, I like the idea. But in concept its far too bad. If you're going to have an active skill that gives such a huge drawback like this, it should have an equally good bonus to counteract it. Maybe a x10 poison plus a minor devil buff would be fair.

I dont know, this doesnt look like it will see much use outside of the beginner teams anyways.
Dr. Psaroo 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Actually, Poison Orbs (not 30 of them) are seen as good in some teams, like Dragon Shogun for D. Meta who can hurt the team below 80% HP like when dealing with Gigas on Athena Descended.

This guy would be decent for a Devil version of D. Meta or some future card where Poison orbs are used to activate a huge multiplier. But yeah, more niche than even Elementals overall.
nathan@N17 in reply to Dr. Psaroo 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
You mean like his leaderskill?
Dr. Psaroo in reply to nathan@N17 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Yeah, and also the damage taken from Poison orbs is based on your HP so it can be planned to a certain extent.
Rubicari 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Another use, sub on a Goetia team with Doomsday, or a Devil team with Chester. Could be helpful in no RCV dungeons. Really I think the pairing with Gravity Room is the reason for the active, they both have a cool down of 8, & both came from DC collabs.
foskia 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
any gzl uses?
nathan@N17 in reply to foskia 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
I'd say no because he's off color and type
Walrus in reply to Dr. Psaroo 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
It can be combo'ed with one of the increasing number of cards that change Poison orbs to more useful color orbs or heal orbs, or you could simply convert the light orbs prior to his AS. It is far from optimal though, this AS should have a lower starting and max skilled CD for what it does or a buff of some sort specially when Swallowtail has poison starting at 10 CD and minimum CD of 6 when maxed (plus increases orb movement by a second for 3 turns).

I honestly think they are just trying to give you a x4 lead for probably the best type in the game at a heavy price
By Mr Wiggles 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
So can his awakenings block the orbchange part of his active? Or do Poison Resist awakenings only block enemies' poison orbchanges, but not yours? It's probably the latter (otherwise that would cramp his LS's style) but that'd be kinda funny :B
Desu 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
I'd like to know this for potential GZL usage.
(No Dragon Shogun ;o)
Though I guess he gets some benefit from GZL's leader skill, which is nice.
Hell, I'll just try it out in Endless. Get back to y'all in a sec...
Desu 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
I just tried using Scarecrow's active on a 100% poison resist team.
It DOES convert light orbs to poison.
That makes this guy a pretty decent GZL sub :)
By Testman 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Pair it with a gravity room and you can counter the poison
Pal 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Bad idea since it goes against the leader skill. It's better to convert light orbs to something other than hearts. Unless you brought a heart breaker/board changer.

A devil poisoner with CD @ 8 and high HP/Atk offers an alternative to when you need poison but also need to meet a HP threshold. Too bad the initial CD is so high up at 18 turns.
By ArkPrime 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
pretty terrible
By Arbitr 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Good to use in no-light dungeon. However, Swallowtail has lower cooldown.
By DarkEnvoy 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
So he blocks poison, yet gives you poison orbs... Hmmmm.
By redbull 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Attack X1?! Seriously? When I first saw him,I thought he was going to be amazing..oh well..glad I killed him with one attack so I can sell him or something, not need this.
By -Zer0- 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
You could add a gzl and satan for this. Just a thought.
By Albegas 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Instead of increase orb time movement it should have something like a poison perseverance so he can use his poison to hurt himself but without running the risk of killing himself by accident.
By Lil'Chizzy 5 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Ya, exactly. That active doesn't match the character very well. Maybe in a later update they'll change it to what slowmo says and he'll become somewhat usable. The stats really aren't that bad for a farmable.
By Boromir 4 years ago ( 9.2.1 )
Why does he make poison and block it?
DKnight 3 years ago ( 12.0.3 )
A master of poisons needs to be resistant to his own creations?

How? He's not an attacker, or has prongs.

Edit: He changed his comment. Something about being good for Satsuki.

it took me a whilw to figure out his active after reading it all weird. then got it when i read the comments. I thought that the poison orbs it creates was used to attack the enemy by 1x of their attack when you match poison orbs then you multiply for each poison orb combo.

I saw in the comment a lot of pain for reward like high stakes high reward. so example like a counter attack. dragon plant hits above 1mil or Hades huge attack where instead of counter attack you use their attack power against them but you pay the price of regular poison orbs.

Overall that would have been a good update. and a new strategy. It can be like a mini nuke depending on attack for the cost of some HP and no counter attack needed
By nathan@N17 5 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
I kinda like him. Especially with a lubu on the team. Sure active can be a pain but it can also be a blessing. Besides what's wrong with living life on the edge
