Yes Awoken Isis is finally here!!!

At first glance she may seem rather underwhelming compared to her awoken Egyptian counterparts, but with the right subs she is still a very formidable leader who can hold up with the best.

First of all, her leader skill has incredibly easy conditions for x20.25. Matching 3 atts is child's play and you can easily trigger an active each turn with Isis' super low cooldown active.

Speaking of which, because of the fact that you can pop her active almost every turn, you'll have the shield up almost all the time (and the times you don't use it will be when you use orb changers to get the kill always). A constant 15% shield is effectively like a 1.176x HP and RCV boost, which is small but can make a difference. It also prevents you from dying to things like 100% gravity attacks.

Andromeda + Reine is pretty much the staple combo of subs for her. With them alone you already have 5 rows, 4 skill boosts, and 80% skill bind resist. Using their actives together gives you on average a board that's 2/3rds blue, or around 20 water orbs, which is enough to match triple rows!
And unlike a fullboard active like Ronia's which is highly subjected to RNG, you can 'guarantee' a triple row board by managing your orbs so that you have just the right amount of wood and dark orbs before you pop your actives.

Karin I would also consider a staple since she gives you a full board active that's great for negating things like poison orbs or just clearing out a bad orbtroll in general. She also gives another row and skill boost and she covers the dark attribute. Alternatively Bodin is another good choice because of all the powerful awakenings and stats he brings.

For the final sub you have a few more options. Although it would be nice to cover every color, Water/Fire subs are scarce. You're limited to pretty much Orochi, Seig, and Merlin, and while none of them are bad, they aren't particularly great either. Although Merlin has the benefit of granting you 100% skill lock resist as well as another row so he's not a bad choice.

Alternatively you can choose to forego having any fire subs, since you only need 3 attribute to activate Isis' leader skill now and Fire orbs get turned into water with Andromeda's active anyways. As for who to pick, well in this case the sky's the limit. You can get more row power with Bodin, or get more orbchangers with subs like Amon and Hermes, or go for additional utility with something like Kraken Rider. The great thing about having a 'free' spot is that you can pick whatever best handles whatever dungeon you're trying to tackle.

Now her x20.25 leader skill may seem weak in comparison to the giants like Ra's x100, but with rows you aren't left in the dust at all. Remember back in the day Ronia had a mere x6.25 leader skill, but with all her rows, if you trigger a triple row with her active then you could still one shot most things. And Hero gods like Pandora could also melt things with a single row combined with their x16 multiplier. Now you have Isis, who has an even higher x20.25, but on top of that has much more utility, having unparalleled bind clearing power, damage shields, and skill lock immunity, as well as being pretty much the easiest awoken powerhouse to use. No need to match hearts or huge combos or whatever. Just 3 atts + an active for x20.25. And then some rows for when you want real power.

Oh yeah and don't forget she makes a great sub too. Her low cooldown utility active makes her a great sub for Awoken Ra and Horus. Not only can she help with bind clearing and prevent some damage, but she also covers the normally tricky to cover attributes; Water and Wood. She's also a great Skuld sub, granting you bind clears as well as plenty of useful awakenings.

So all in all I think Gungho did a pretty great job in designing her, but if anything, I hope they maybe buff her numbers a little (slightly increase her damage shield to maybe 25-30% and her leader skill to around x5) and then she'll be perfect <3

Oh yeah and finally and most importantly SHE HAS TAMADRA EARS. IT DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THAT.

...but she's still underwhelming compared to the other Awoken Gods.

Awoken Isis is far from BAD...she definitely formidable...but with how out of control Bastet/Ra and to a lesser extend Horus is she really is rather underwhelming.

Useful, sure, but underwhelming.
覚醒hotaka 4 years ago ( 7.5.1 )
Great post, but some points are a little bit off. Matching 3 colors for the 4.5x is easier than 6 colors for 4.5x, but the more important point is that now you can use orb changers. If you compared "1 combo for each of the 6 colors" VS "4 blue combos + 2 non-blue combos", the latter is 4x stronger for blue monsters. So, you should pretty much stack her team with blue orb changers, which you kind of implied but did not explicitly say. Otherwise, her LS isn't too different than her old one.

Also, I would not consider Karin a "must have" sub. You're only actually guaranteed 3 water orbs. I've gotten just 4 from experience one time. It's not reliable at all. A better approach would be, for example, Blue zeus+Ruel. You're guaranteed to make 3 colors, 4 combos total, and 2 (huge) water rows. I know Ruel isn't blue, but I suspect there will be new monsters that could replace him in the future.

But she's probably more viable as a sub than a leader

True, but she's the best sub out of all awoken egyptian gods
Bryggyth 4 years ago ( 7.5.1 )
Thank you for bringing up many reasons Isis is an amazing leader!
I completely agree with everything you said, but I also feel like GungHo didn't put much effort into making her.
What I mean by that is, they didn't think about what would balance out her lower multiplier, or how to make her stronger I guess. I think they either should have made her active skill 30% rather than 15% to make it slightly more versatile, or lowered the cooldown to 2 so that she not only always has an active skill ready with 2 leaders, but also is an incredible sub. Also, I feel like they shouldn't have removed the heal orbs from her multiplier, as now you cannot use monsters like the Norns like her, which I was really hoping to use my Skuld as a sub, because the active could have been perfect. This would make her easier to activate, (Well, easier than matching 3 attributes which is already pretty easy) which would be perfect to balance out the lower multiplier.

Overall, she's still pretty awesome, there are just a few tweaks GungHo could have made to help realize her full potential IMO.

I'm so glad you wrote that all out. I had been initially quite disappointed with this awoken evo, but I hadn't thought of it providing an easy water row team with higher damage output then a 16x Andromeda team. I now am very excited for this evo!

One more thing to consider however; Awoken Isis might not necessarily be on the level of the heavyweight Egyptians, but her Awoken Uevo is still easier to activate the same multiplier as her B/L Uevo, as well as having more awakenings and a short cd skill. So even if you don't think she is worth it because she can't compete with the other Egyptians, she is definitely worth it because she beats her other uevos.

i agree with most of what you said except:

"And unlike a fullboard active like Ronia's which is highly subjected to RNG, you can 'guarantee' a triple row board by managing your orbs so that you have just the right amount of wood and dark orbs before you pop your actives."

statistically speaking, you know the bell curve from a ronia active is pretty normal. sure you get outlier boards once in awhile, but it's to be expected X% of the time... not a big deal.

it is nice that Andromeda will be getting a suvo, but in the meantime, I might suggest alternatively replacing Reine and Andromeda with B/R Siegfried and the new Divinized Archangel, Michael for extra autoheal while still keeping with three rows and skill lock resistance.
VGM in reply to kai@HNL 3 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
He talking about it at max skill, which is 3 turns. Also there are other cards that have damage reduction, some with more, so in comparison it is not that bad when you factor in such a short cooldown. Personally speaking I feel that Awoken Isis lacks what it needs to be a great leader compared to what was available at the time and most definitely with what is available now, but it is still a good sub all things considered.

How bout'

Valkyrie Reine(5-turn orb change is so good...)
Andromeda OR UUEVO Gabriel or Awoken Karin (AN EXTRA ROW!!! however karin situationally would be nice...and with Andromeda you have 100% skill bind resist)
Hermes the Blackmailer(Thug life...? Who cares, powerful orb change +3 rows!)
Charite Machina(covers that difficult fire att. and brings a row and an infinite x2 buff)

This team has got 5 orb+ which means all matches with a +orb automatically does 31% extra minimum! if all are plus orbs, then a row will automatically do 61% extra! This team has 10/11 rows. bind clear... and low cool-down actives. highest probably being charite but you'd probably only use her once. it's full of orb changers and it has all color coverage so your chance of orb-troll is minuscule.
Isis is powerful, not Ra level but definitely at least Bastet level... My two cents. take it or leave it. i have all the subs except Valkyrie Reine and Hermes and charite. If Hermes is switchable with Blodin then i am missing Valkyrie and charite. Hopefully i can get this team together eventually... And no, there is nothing more kawaii than TAMA ears.(except maybe awoken astaroth, don't really know...(?) ) I'm very open to feedback so please comment.
and yes heart orb in the leader skill would be brilliant.

I thought about this, and I realized:

If Awoken Isis had higher scaling with more colors like Horus did, she would never be better in any aspect compared to the others.

By taking her into a different route where her LS could enable her to focus on a mono-attribute like team, she can catch up with other gods using her rows easily while it's more difficult to focus on a color for the others because of their high color requirements.

This is actually why Nephthys is actually really popular in JP (and actually could beat the Ultimate Arena if RNG was good and L. Kali appeared) because she could focus on dark easily. This also makes her 4.5x multiplier more effective than B/L Isis's 4.5x multiplier because you need less colors, and it's likely you won't be able to match all 6 colors consistently. If you can, you should just use Sphinx. Hathor's LS has a better multiplier but her inability to focus on Light damage balances her.

However, I still think she needs a buff. Let her LS use Hearts and her AS be able to block 25% or just 20% of all damage.

15%....what a life saver. You only need 28k HP to survive a 30k hit now
Bryggyth 4 years ago ( 7.5.1 )
Although it isn't much, and I think it should defnintely be buffed (Either higher damage reduction or 2 turn CD) it is still very helpful because it can be the difference between surviving a 100% gravity or not, which no team can survive without some form of damage reduction.
BazBiscuit 4 years ago ( 7.5.1 )
I was a bit more hyped when it was 30%, but now it's not as appealing with the official release at 15%. There's not often that'll actually make much difference, and I've only seen 100% gravity on like 2 dungeons so far. Maybe more is coming? Still rather have higher attack.
nathan@N17 in reply to OuP 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
Dude lol we know. It was a joke about the defense. But i don't think you can have both multipliers with the Egyptians. I don't think you can get the x4 from leaders and also stack it with a spike
Ferracene 4 years ago ( 7.5.1 )
15% is a life saver. Imagine a boss that hits 100k hp, you only 85k hp, which is super easy to get.
OuP 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
i think it's actually absolutely op when paired with the right monster. The new awoken ra gets an attack boost every time a skill is used. When all attributes are matched and this skill is used, the team will be doing a 100x attack. She will be able to proc this so frequently and she also has a devil type, making it possible to make a devil team with ra. This will allow further mutipliers as high as 300x. Not to mention she is water and grass, which are two attributes not commonly seen in devil types.
Nemesis in reply to nathan@N17 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
I'm pretty sure you've asked this before and people answered you then, but maybe it was someone else. I could be misinterpreting the question, as well, so please correct me if I did.

In any case, spike actives stack with leader skill "use a skill for multiplier" spikes. In the case of double Awoken Ra leaders and Baddie's active skill (the only 3x multiplier), it would be 5x5x2x2x3=300x ATK for Devils.

Personally I don't think it's practical in most cases, but it's certainly possible!

My only problem with Awoken Isis is that she went from having the highest weighted stats out of any of the chinese/egypt 1 monsters (her b/b was highest with b/l being 3rd highest) to having the lowest weighted stats of any of the awoken chinese/egypt 1 monsters. Considering that she also has the lowest multiplier of all the egypt 1, and by a long shot, it kinda sucks that her stats aren't higher than they are, they're lower than b/b Isis. Other than that I'm happy with her colors and awoken skills and she'll fit nicely on my skuld team or as a lead if I get adequate subs

edit: checked again and she has the same weighted stats as b/b isis, not less. But still, sad her stats aren't higher

On the other hand her stats are now much more well rounded, and she now has the highest base attack of all the awoken Egyptians. It's high enough to hit over 2000 with +99 atk eggs.

It's also high enough that she hits for nearly 2 MILLION DAMAGE ALONE when you match triple rows:

IDK, I think her LS matching condition should get a buff and be like the B/L version in addition to the X1.5 bonus (which is limited to water cards - maybe loosen this restriction up instead?) and/or improve the active (higher dmg mitigation? 3 turn unbind?). Otherwise I think she is a marvelous sub for when you need to frequently unbind your team or to fill that B/G spot in your Ra or Horus (etc) spike team.

She seems like a must-have sub for an Awoken Ra team, from what I've seen.

• 3-turn cooldown ensures that the team gets the 2x ATK bonus more frequently
• Fills up B/G slots
• Clears binds, and is immune to them
• Damage Reduction is always welcome, especially in a team that needs to tank hits
• Skill-Lock Resist is a must in this team

If you build a monotype, monoblue team for her it could actually be a pretty potent spike team. I'd recommend putting a few pii's into her though - having her maxed, or close to max skill provides a consistent 20.25x that I''m sure she'll need if players want to use her in higher difficulty dungeons.

Being God/Devil, she could potentially use Muse or Awoken Neptune to give 2.5x God, or 2x Attacker/devil types, so if anyones looking to build a mono blue god, or devil team around her it could very well work. Off the top of my head, something like

Awoken Isis
Awoken Isis

Could be extremely deadly, and possibly able to tackle a good amount of descendeds. Given that she only needs 3 colours you can easily put her spike damage into numbers that contend with leaders like Ra, etc. using a Water-Row heavy team, potentially allowing players to build a spike team without those rare blue TPA pieces.

Just some ideas to get an Awoken Isis team going.

If you're lacking blue subs like I am though, however, it might be best to leave her in her B/L form.

She needs a Revo bad. As of right now, she's pretty much outclassed by like every card that's gotten a new evolution in the last year.
By Kirito 4 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
She needs a serious update. Right now she just plain sucks. To properly utilize her as a leader, she is limited to water subs that are useful on a rainbow team. 4.5x and only on a turn a skill is used--a real powerhouse. To top it off, she herself has no tpas and water monsters are generally row based. Seriously, why on earth would you want a row team for a leader that needs to match at least 3 attributes each turn?! Tpas are much easier to activate conditional leader skills.

The leader skill should be updated to include heart orbs like B/L Isis for easier activation, which has the added benefit of widening her sub pool to include cards like Urd and Verdani. Or they could make the extra 1.5x apply to a type as well e.g. Water and God cards.

As a sub she is the worst of the new awoken cards. Her active is terrible. She clears 2 turns of binds when most of the time when you get bound it will be 3 or more turns. She needs at least 3 bind turn clears. Especially since she has no bind clear awakening. And her damage reduction is a joke. It should be 35% for two turns or 50% for one turn. And if not that, at least give her a haste! Her one saving grace is her short cd, which makes her useful to activate leader skill spikes on a turn a skill is used (e.g. Bastet, Ra, herself).

Her awakenings are trash--for an awoken card. Give her a bind clear and change that water row to a tpa or two and we'll talk.

I hope someone from Gung-ho reads these posts.

Update: Huray for the new skill transfer system!!! My Isis just got a new skill. Water dragon knight was a perfect candidate for the skill transfer: a great skill, short cd (and easily maxed), and her stats are terrible so she won't be missed. Plus she's perfect for Awoken Isis: gives her an extra turn of bind recovery and makes her a heart breaker to boot! You lose Isis's crummy damage reduction but 15% was such a joke anyway I don't even count this as a negative. I can start using Isis again, at least as a sub.

When you said you didn't have her, your comments suddenly became much clearer. If you break down each individual weakness by themselves none are too bad; it's only by combining them into one crap card and seeing it in action do you realize how bad she really is.

I have a lot of great leaders, so I can live with the fact that she isn't a good leader, whatever. But she isn't an excellent sub either. This is supposed to be a top-tier awoken card. The standards are higher.

As to your comment about a 1 turn haste being unbalanced (making her AS always up if you use another Isis) An always up 15% defense reduction is not OP by any means. Nor is 2 turn bind recovery, since if you need her for that you're probably getting hit with 1-4 turn binds every turn! And if you are using her as a sub, giving your whole team a 1 turn haste every 3 turns is awesome, but not unbalanced at all. That's what good cards do: they give you useful skills.

She doesn't suck, but she definitely drew the short straw among the Egyptian 1 gods. It kinda just feels like GungHo couldn't be bothered to put any time into this, but needed to give her an awoken form, so they just went with the ideas of the first person at their meeting to say anything, then moved on.

Unfortunately, not enough people care, as she has always been just that newbie-friendly Egyptian god that never gets to lead again after getting a high enough rank and better leaders.

"4.5x and only on a turn a skill is used--a real powerhouse."
Her multiplier is consistent because she has a 3 turn cooldown. Basically 2 turns in a row not counting subs then you skip one turn.

"why on earth would you want a row team for a leader that needs to match at least 3 attributes each turn?!"
That's a nonissue if your subs have varied sub attributes (for example brodin and amon). The more varied your sub attributes, the more of a nonissue this is.

"She clears 2 turns of binds when most of the time when you get bound it will be 3 or more turns."
Stalling out a turn is usually not an issue. Plus if you are using her as a lead, you can just use the other isis if you really have to.

". It should be 35% for two turns or 50% for one turn. "
35% for one turn (not sure about two turns) may not be such a bad idea considering she has no rcv or hp boost in her leader skill and as a sub, it wouldn't really be unbalanced either.

"And if not that, at least give her a haste!"
Haste every turn is pretty unbalanced.

"change that water row to a tpa or two and we'll talk"
Depends on the team but usually rows are better than tpa.

" Or they could make the extra 1.5x apply to a type as well"
Idk about a typing boost but I can agree with an attribute boost as water is generally filled with low attack stat monsters and 4.5 may not be enough. Then again not every leader can be top tier.

I don't have her but if I did I wouldn't really find much to complain about except for just one thing and that is that I think her attack multiplier is fine, but she should have some sort of boost to her hp and/or rcv. If not that then at least a dmg reduction boost to compensate. Just don't use her as a lead if it bother you, just use someone else. She's still a good sub.

"When you said you didn't have her, your comments suddenly became much clearer."
Seems you're trying to take away my credibility? I've cleared nearly all the content in the game (not counting arenas) so I think I know what I'm talking about. I've dealt with binds plenty of times before.

"An always up 15% defense reduction is not OP by any means. " yep it's not. Also, I take back what I said about the added haste being unbalanced. They would probably never do it though because there seems to be a limit of two skills for one active for the awoken cards.

"Nor is 2 turn bind recovery, since if you need her for that you're probably getting hit with 1-4 turn binds every turn!"
Every turn? Binds aren't that bad when they happen and as I said earlier, stalling out a bind for a turn is usually not a problem. More than that? Maybe.

I suppose if she had a 3 turn bind recovery instead of two with a slightly higher cool down (1 or 2 more turns) it could be better or if not then just adding the haste to the active wouldn't be all that unbalanced either (though like I said the limit seems to be 2 skills for one active for the awoken cards). Maybe buffing the dmg reduction too. Maybe just reducing the cooldown to 2 turns instead of 3. Any of those would be fine. Either way, I just play with the cards I am dealt. She may not be what you wanted but she fulfills her role which to me would be enough.

As a guy who started out with isis but know does urd teams, this really dissapointed me. I wish that she was B/F so she could be on my urd team. But unfortunately, she was B/G. 😔
But to be honest, i just want a monster that is unbindable, heals binds, has a couple of tpa, and is B/F or F/B. But alas, no rozeul yet 😞.

By D1amondude 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
As a long-time Isis player (who has since moved on to x5 leaders), I was exuberant to hear that Isis was getting another ulti. I wondered how awesome the ulti was going to be; was she going to have her multiplier buffed to compete with the more powerful burst leaders while still retaining her easy-to-activate condition? Was GungHo going to make my old favorite burst leader actually fully viable in end-game dungeons?

I must say, this is disappointing. I'd even say that B/L Isis is still the superior Isis.
baggi 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
I can 100% understand the disappointment with this Isis compared to the other awoken counterparts. But why do you feel that B/L is still the better uevo?

B/L requires you to match all 6 orb types for 4.5x with B/L, or you can do 3 attacker orbs+ a skill (easy with max skill) with B/G Isis.

B/L is unbindable, and only gives enhanced water/light orbs. Where as B/G is also unbindable, gives two enhanced water orbs, a water row (together allows a strong water focus on the team), an extra 0.5 seconds move time, 20% skill bind resist and a skill boost.

Both the leader skill and awoken skills are undeniably better. So the only real downsides are if maybe you need physical typing, cause devil don't really work here. But considering that you wont really need any damage boosters with a good B/G Isis team, it wouldn't even matter if awoken Isis was made into protected/mechanical, the damage output wouldn't have changed.

There also is the idea of the stats change. This is the one set of things that honestly cant be said to be better or worse, but only fits a situation better, or fits personal preferences, so ima leave it at that.

I feel its crystal clear that B/G is superior to B/L, but I would love to hear your thoughts on why B/L is still better.

Well here it is your ultimate team to beat all teams,

*Awoken Ra - Our armored up tank (his ls and active speak for itself)
*Awoken Isis - Our support class (3 turn skill to activate Ra's potential OFTEN plus some def)
*Keeper of the Sacred Texts Metatron - Our healer (Quick heal cd and highest RCV in game)
*Blazing Goddess of Power, Kali - Our caster (skill tailor made for this)
*Awoken Phantom God, Odin (his 8 star when it comes to us) - Our melee (Highest Attack in game without having sacrifice a color with active skill plus a strong poison)

No one on this team can be bound. 80% chance your skills will also not be able to be bound. With some skill and maybe a little luck this team should be able to take down anything.

Kind of on the fence about this since I'm usually running my isis with green TPA subs right now. I might consider it if it was 3.5x normal + 1.5 on skill usage but that seems like a bit of a stretch to be true.

My b/l Isis is max leveled and I donot want to waste it. Also, most of the time Isis is just a sub, no reason to change into b/g at all
Hitch 4 years ago ( 8.0.1 )
I can see that for some who use her as a lead, they might prefer BL over BG. But if you are using her as a sub, there is very little reason to keep her in BL, BG (as a sub) is better than her in almost every way. BL is inferiour to BG as a sub in almost every way:

BG has a much better awakening, the awakenings in BL (aside from bind resist) are pretty useless.

BG has the much better AS. 3x RCV heal almost useless when you are only healing the likes off 1500HP. 15% shield is always better unless your team only has about 10k HP total (in which case, if your team is still only 10k HP, then you dont even have the materials to evo her go BG anyways).

The only thing BL has over BG is the physical typing and better HP and RCV...

I don't get why there are so much hate on A Isis. If Pandora/Andromeda's 4X + rows and get you so far in the game, why can't Isis's 4.5X + rows?
Kirihiko 4 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
Well if you want a comparison, with Andromeda you just need to focus on rows and not 2 extra color matches meaning it's not only easier to get a row in (like if orb placement is reeeally bad) but you can also focus better on multiple rows. Additionally, you won't always be able to use an orb change active with A. Isis leads depending on the current board, like Hermes being up but then needing that green to get your 3rd match. Another LS issue for A. Isis vs Andromeda is that Isis will need total color coverage to work optimally while Andromeda just needs main blue subs without worrying about a sub's sub att., meaning even further flexibility for Andromeda teams.

In terms of awakenings, A. Isis having only 1 row enhance hurts since going double A. Isis leads basically gives 2 fewer rows for your team vs double Andromeda leads, and while double Andromeda needs 1 more skb to be 100% resistant Isis needs 3 more, though unbindibility + bind heal works in her favor in just as frequently.

Finally, the fact that as a leader she's being compared to an ult that's been out for awhile now is kind of a problem, and that's BEFORE the Heroes get their announced LS buffs which let's them scale to 4.5x. :\

Overall A. Isis has a surprising amount of chains on her as a lead while the Blue Chain goddess herself does not... Though she's still an AMAZING sub who I'll be using with my A. Horus team... and Andromeda team. :p

Just realized: Dual A. Isis leads, A. Isis as a sub
You can activate an awoken isis every turn and guarantee the second part of her leader skill. Maybe pair it with Blodin, Famiel, A.I&I/A. Sun Quan

great early game leader, provided you can get the materials for her. (or roll her pad academy counterpart)

The way I see this card it's a pretty OP card for my Awoken Lakashmi team! My team consists of A.Lak (leader), subs-A.Karin, A.Isis, Ult. Andromeda, Ult. Blonia, A.Lak(friend leader). Awoken Isis adds another row, reduces damage, reduces bind, and makes my team unbindable! She's a nice asset to this team. I usually will intertwine Awoken Orochi if Ik I need a turn delay but Awoken Isis is just so safe and effective for my mono water teams!

People need to be a little more gentle on her lol. She is incredibly handy on a Ra Dragon team. Unbind-able with skill bind resist and an incredibly low base active skill cool down lets inherits be definitely usable. She covers critical colors as well.

Considering she scaled identically with Bastet for leader skill, her awoken evo should have done the same. Horus, Ra, and Bastet basically use their non-twinlit ultimate evo's leader skill with a 1.5x when an active is used, Isis on the other hand uses her non-uvoed form so there is no scaling for doing better. I'm guessing this is probably due to her active at 3 turns, but the guys who made her didn't have the presence of mind to just scale her damage as 3x for 3 colors or hearts with an additional 1x for additional color up to 6x for all colors + hearts and no active skill interaction. It matches with Awoken Bastet, doesn't outshine Awoken Horus (or L/L Ra), and more difficult to reach the maximum multiplier then either of them.

Her awakenings look good, but the guys who designed her again showed their genius when they realized she'd be the best sub for the rest of the Awoken Egyptians and gave her a trivially weak shield in addition to her 2 turn bind heal. But that still makes her too useful, despite her shield not doing much, she still serves her purpose of gaining that bonus. To make her less appealing to those new color matching teams, they'll give her a row enhance rather than TPA.

End product is a tepid Awoken evo that only those who looked down on her would say is fitting. If B/L Isis gained her skill bind resist, extend time and a TPA, she'd be undoubtedly a superior evolution. The new ultimate Machine Golem outclasses her everywhere but her awakenings. She simply is the most underwhelming awoken evo they have released.

Can't help but disagree with you. Awoken Isis is infinitly more powerful than B/L Isis. She is much easier to activate, she can spike like no other and can utilize rows. Her active skill has a 3 turn cooldown which means 2/3rd of the time, you can get a 4.5x multiplier for matching only 3 colours. For B/L Isis to give a 4.5x multiplier, you have to have every colour on your board and you most likely won't be able to make any rows, let alone match more than one set of blue orbs because of that ridiculous requirement for activating her 4.5x.

Just observe my Awoken Isis team once she is released:
Awoken Isis
Blue Odin
Blue Odin
B/D Karin
Awoken Isis

This team has rows upon rows in order to support the rows that needed row support. Besides that, we have karin who guarantees a boss-burst board, the team is practically unbindable and because of the two odins, one TPA-match and two other colours will wipe out all trash mobs. If you use a skill aswell, the numbers will fly through the roof.
You might be disappointed, but I see so much potential that I don't even know where to start.
Momo 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
Yeah. Gotta agree she's underwhelming. Better be packing a mostly if not all water team that covers the other attributes if you want to get the most mileage out of her. I'll make do with B/L Isis for now.

Love the art though.

The saddest part is that if B/L Isis were given Awoken Isis' awakenings (and only her awakenings), you could have a pretty balanced debate over which is better. That can't be said for any awoken evo.
Dr. Psaroo 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
Giving her an LS just like the others would actually completely cast her place as inferior to the other Egyptians. The row and easy activation encourage a psuedo mono-type team more than the other gods. The bursting from the row and room for more blue orbs gives her better damage to catch up with the higher multipliers.

Simply put, she's made to stand out on her own from the other leaders, although her LS should be buffed to include Heart orbs.
By Malkovich 4 years ago ( 7.5.1 )

I've read everyone's take on awoken isis but i still believe B/L isis is better even without all the gimmics of the awoken Isis. Bottom line i choose 4.5x attack over 3x. There is way to much 3x and 4x element and type required monsters available to choose her as a leader instead.
Nemesis 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
A much more reasonable reason to prefer B/L is if you just like the scaling more. The way you phrase it ("I choose 4.5x over 3x") comes off as remarkably silly given the fact that you kind of have it backwards. With B/L you're choosing 3-4x a majority of the time, with Awoken you're guaranteed 4.5x a majority of the time, and B/L's 4.5x doesn't really mean much anyway given how spread out the damage is.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but I can't see for an instant how B/L Isis is any better.
By Sillildur 4 years ago ( 7.8.1 )
It's a pity that I can not be in Japan right now to call the police because what Gungho has been done to Isis is a criminal act. Sphinx, Medjedra, Cleopatra,... to get only x3 ATK... What,s this??? Where is my flawless 4.5x ???

Unless you're running a blue team A-Isis is useless as a leader. She,s just a good sub...

When it comes to Snowglobes or Pii skill up monsters, only the primary color attribute matters.

It's the same even for ordinary fodder: a red ogre will give 1.5x xp to a fire monster but not to a wood monster that has fire subtype.
