What's with the active skill phrasing? 'Change all orbs to Fire, Water & Wood & Light & Dark & Heart & Poison orbs.' Why is there only one comma before the ampersand party?

EDIT: nevermind its gone i never even got invited to the ampersand party

RE-EDIT: IT'S BACK

AMPERSAND PARTY ALL NIGHT BABY

I did not notice the monster number. Good catch.
It seems we are still waiting for fire.

Yep, we have them all now (at least as far as the monster numbers are concerned):
Fire - Gainaut (Gaianaut? sp?)
Water - Volsung
Earth - Linthia
Light - Nordis
Dark - Zaerog∞

Or who knows, maybe we'll still get dragons down the line that actually LOOK like the Dragonbounds' dragons, kind of like how Cauchemar and Medjedra were hiding in Astaroth and Osiris' art before they were properly revealed.

Can you elaborate more on the matching theory? Cause I don't see any connection of them in their artworks(there's no Volsung in Ryune's etc.)

♡Ameto♡ in reply to Vermillion 2 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
I believe it's because starting with Volsung, every single dragon king has an special attack that's a bit easier on you if you use a dragonbound of the respective color. Though Saria, Typhon and Ilm get a similar off-color treatment too, I would think because they missed the chance of doing that with Z8 and Nordis.

According to PadGuide

Volsung (when < 50% HP):

Normal: 99% gravity and 10-turn skill bind (skill set).
Ryune: 10-turn skill bind.
Typhon: 99% gravity.
Both: Ryune on first turn, Typhon the following turn.

Linthia (when HP > 50%):

Normal: 140% orb change on first turn, 150% normal attack on second turn.
Sylvie: 110% damage hide orbs on first turn.
Ilm: Fire and light orb +20% skyfall on second turn.
Both: Sylvie on first turn, Ilm the following turn.

Gainaut (when HP > 50%):

Normal: 140% damage jammer attack.
Saria or Gadius or both: 100% damage attack on first turn.

Rinshia is Sylvie's dragon.

Each dragonbound has a matching dragon king (all of the dragon kings will show up as descended bosses), just like Volsung is Ryune's dragon.

So there will be two more dragon kings, fire and dark one; however judging by the monster number we already have the dark dragon king, which is Zaerog∞.

I think she is Japanese Dragon Caller Gran.
It just looks like she merged with a dragon instead of summoning it. Take out the wings and make her skin colour more normal then she would look like a Japanese Dragon Caller.

She looks a lot like a carbuncle. All she would need is a jewel on her forehead.

Knowing my luck with Poison Orbs, it wouldn't be too hard for me to activate her Leader Skill.
1
By Bryggyth 3 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
I can't decide if this is a useful leader skill or not.
Although her active skill guarantees 10x attack for a turn, it also comes with a price simply to activate. Not to mention that it is relatively hard to activate most of the time without a lot of poison orb creating monsters, in which case you lack other utility subs. I guess time will tell.
2
StaticG 3 years ago ( 8.4.1 )
Yeah, it will be hard to activate her as you will need to find a way to get poison orbs, but she is still easier to activate compared to Ra as she can use any 5 of the 6 orbs for 16x damage. It is not high for the effort needed compared to the other leaders sadly.

If you need the orbs you will need to build it similar to any Kali, Ra or Horus team. Dupes of the orb changer her LS needs, which is her.

I think a team for her would be:
Rinshia, Rinshia, Rinshia, Zhu Bajie/Maeda Keiji, Awoken Isis, Rinshia
or
Rinshia, Rinshia, D.Kali, Dragon Shogun, Awoken Sakuya/L. Meta/B. Meta, Rinshia

I don't think the Dragon Shogun team is as good using Dragon Shogun because his active is 7 turns max, the same as Rinshia, at the cost of wasting a slot for something else. He already has the same attribute that Rinshia provides so it isn't very helpful, and another Rinshia could be used instead. All he really does is allow you to do 200x damage when combined with D. Kali. or 12.5x if you can't activate (making another Rinshia better as a sub).

It is unfortunate that Hel removes 1 too many orbs that Rinshia needs. She would have been the best sub and could have allowed for an almost completely farmable team.

Does anyone know of a good place to get the earth dragon needed for this ultimate evolution? I've done the Demeter Forest dungeons about 70 times now and it's not cutting it. Any stage of evolution is fine.

This is adorable when compared with the Dragon dungeon bosses out there. (Save for the Dragon Callers/Pacters)

Also, I think that it isn't furry, only borderline stuff.

She can be a pretty interesting sub if you pair her up with a team using Satsuki, Eschamalia, Awoken Astaroth, Australis and so on. She will make it so you have from 1/3 to almost 1/2 of the board the desired colour for any leader that does not need poison, heart and/or the removed colour.

You could also use her with Liu Bei in a GZL team (I realize she is not an attacker) if you think Liu Bei will bring you above 80%. It will make 1/3 of the board wood and have some poison to lower your hp. You just can't get her Auto Heal awokens if you don't want to risk that healing too much.

There could be other weird things you can do with her but I can't think of them right now.

Wait, KING Linthia? What? Am I missing something here?

EDIT: Nevermind, it's gone.

And since I don't want to clutter up the ampersand party comment any more than it already is, I'll say this here:

I just noticed, her prevo's wings look extremely similar to Ilm's. I'm curious as to what this implies, given all their hidden lore.

Ilm's wings are different than the prevo to this card. Ilm's wings are more of the "bat" or "dragon" type, leathery.

Linthia's wings are feathered.

Her dual typing and as make her a good lkali sub. Bring along a sub with good poison resistance, and you've got no need to worry about hurting yourself. Maybe better to bring a sub that changes poison orbs to something helpful.

Phenomenal paws.

Also, combos with Mech 1 and Mech 2 gods well for 4-5 color leaders. 9+ and 12+ guaranteed attack orbs respectively (likely a little more).

As a farmable compromise, great on Ronove if you need to cover dark, sufficient on Sherias Roots if you need to cover wood. If you have a combo with her, consider her on ADQXQ or Sakuya.

If you use her as a leader, you're amazing and never change, I guess.

Just going to throw this out there as something silly. Unlike Kite who gives you 2x for 5 match with 1 enhance, Rinshia only needs 3 orbs for 2.5x. This means you can run Naraku and pop a 4 color board and still get 6.25x (with double leader), or do something sillier like Ishida Mitsunari + dragon shogun for green/dark/poison board and 12.5x for dragons. This lets you run more optimized damage combos for a weaker multiplier (or just popping poison for quick trash mob kills)

Linthia on a Hel team? Or vice versa?
1
Billy 2 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
While it may seem suitable, it's not.

Linthia on Hel:
Linthia's active generates poison, but only a little over 4 on average. It usually won't activate Hel's 7x without a Hel active which probably would've done it anyway.

Hel on Linthia:
Hel's active disables Linthia's leader skill by removing 2 types of orbs.

Both use poison, but neither plays well with the other =P

(except on 7x6; Linthia's active usually gives 6+ poisons on a 7x6 board.)

Why was this downvoted,it's just a poison assist comment

Meep 2 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
using hel then linthia gives a usable board for linthia teams while giving poison fall for three turns.

using linthia then hel on a hel team gives a solid number of poison and heal leaving wood and light to be converted by someone like gizzar or pandor.

not optimal, but chaining actives is fun :P

The comparison seems way off, but I like that you appreciate Kill la Kill. You might think so from the first part of her hair and a bit of the face. Eyes don't match that well.
