It's actually a pretty difficult decision on which ultimate to choose.

the dragon has a higher rcv than the healer....
that's not how this works, that's not how any of this works
Minori in reply to bfl' satan 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
They're both healers.
foskia in reply to Kerry 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
• i use him as lead for my blue healer team. more hp on healer team is always needed (i don't have i&i)
• i run a tricolor hera claus team, so i still need the god type
• i don't have any tamadras left for new awakenings lol

totally gonna choose this one (if i'll get another sq, i'll evolve it into the other one)

It's the same with liu bei, the god one gets upgraded leader skill while the dragon one gets upgraded awakenings

I'm assuming as an Lmeta sub, although the sub type is green, the other one's better
I'm using it as a sub cuz I don't have arcline and king shynee lacks stats

Save the typing, a ton of double-uvo gods have that. All of the Chinese godesses save Kirin, for example.

I;m pretty surprised that the more "expensive" version doesn't get an upgrade in LDR skill at all...a bit disappointed tbh.

Clicked the link expecting a PAD video of some guy running a jacked up team with both as leaders... got this
C A R L 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
This is water and while there are many good water healers, they're all REM exclusive, whereas there are decent farmable light healers for lmeta(valk, angelion, shynee). Also the HP multiplier is not as high as lmeta(1.44 vs 1.56) and the rcv multiplier is negligible since healers have high rcv anyway and lmeta herself has the highest rcv in the game outside of the 1000 days tamadra. Also lmeta has 2 skill boosts, 2 bind resists, and a very useful active for clearing binds and healing back to the leader skill threshold. SQ's active is also very good but it's much slower(13 turns vs 6) and his awakenings are subpar. Basically sun quan is a very good blue healer leader and sub, but does not outclass lmeta since the they are different colors, have slightly different leader skills, and totally different actives and awakenings.
Guest in reply to C A R L 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )

Seriously, pair them up people. L/BMeta to remove binds/heal+SQ for burst/delay. Neither active is one that you regularly need two of on the same team. And this way you don't have to pull both yourself.

I'm not sure but I don't think I'll use this one. The drop from 1.25hp to 1.2 hp makes probably a larger difference than the increase from 1.0 to 1.2 recovery.

If I could make a good blue team I would use the b/g one. since all I can do is make a light healer team and throw this guy in as a shynee replacement, I'll probably use this one, even if I am going to use him as a sub.

But even for blue healer teams I don't think SQ is as good as the new angel (#1829). Because that angel has the 1.25x hp, and gets 14.06x attack on WW or WL (super easy). The extra attack(14.06 vs 12.25) and unbindability (like metatron), extra hp (1.56 vs 1.44), and condition (WW WL - this, is practically 'if you match orbs that will cause an attack you get 14x', is a lot better than multiplier above 50% hp because of boss gravities and good size hits).

So, I don't think it obsoletes metatron, and I don't think it's the best water healer lead either. New Angel, I&I, and New Andromeda all can compete for that.
Dark Cloud in reply to Eric 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Yeah but your attack is going from 3 to 3.5
MooSama xD in reply to Guest 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
That's true, good thinking! Usually one meta is enough to get you of a bind situation along with her row of heart unbind awakening even if her skill isn't up.
Amy 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
No this most certainly does not replace LMeta. Her awakenings and active are more suited to her leader skill. Not to mention the huge stock pile of light healers that LMeta accommodates. In other words I wouldn't feel comfortable taking this guy into descends knowing that I have a LMeta on my roster. Her leader skill comes with insurance his doesn't.
Eric in reply to Dark Cloud 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
For what?

I&I has 3x attack, unconditional, and 1.35x hp (->1.88? multiplier). I still think that is good, for some situations, though overall I think 3.5x lead is better.

Personally if I had to rank them it would go like this New Angel > Blue Meta > B/W SQ = I&I. But if I have any of the others I'd probably rather have B/G SQ, so this dude's LS is moot also..

Andromeda is probably way up there too, even though her leader skill isn't healer, she'd make a great blue healer lead.
By Dean 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Wait, so they just buffed L meta, finally, and then they make this guy which arguably a better leader skill and better active, unless you're bound. This guy has 25 less cost, doesn't require any tough evo mats, and isn't a special god. wtf gungtroll, why you screw Lmeta like that. Make L meta's skill like D meta's and make it activate for gods too, problem solved.
Firecat in reply to Carson 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
I don't know why people say things like 1.2x RCV is superfluous for healer teams when I just don't see it. Sure Healer teams have naturally kind of high recovery but nothing obscene like the Sonia teams....which can be a bit irritating actually. L.Meta teams are now running higher HP than a great deal of other teams (Approaching mid level B Sonia teams of all things) but with a mere fractions of the Recovery. It is quite a bit more difficult to stall with an L.Meta team over some of the Sonia teams because she has no RCV boost at all. Most of my L.Meta teams only have around 4000 or so RCV and a huge 25000 yea its not superfluous. In comparison my B Sonia team is running about 27000 HP but an insane 12500 just makes stalling way way easier to have a high recovery stat.

I would take a .05 loss in HP for a .2 increase in RCV on a leader skill all day every day. That is a SIGNIFICANT help with stalling. I truly love my L.Meta to the point I even have her hyper maxed but "High" recovery is not her strength compared to other high end teams. She's no wet noodle but she's not exactly up there either.

The notable thing is that water healers have LOTS of rows. So while you don't do light damage, you should do a lot more water damage. Even I&I should do more damage than LMeta teams, because an I&I team could be running with 10 rows.

e.g. admittedly REM Heavy

I&I Blue Valk Andromeda Hatsume SQ(B/G) I&I

has 9 rows.

And you're playing with around 40k hp too I think. And doing truckloads more damage despite lower multiplier. and always doing it, because of no 50% conditional.

so Idunn cannot? Not sure about that one.
PadNut@/r in reply to Carson 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )

I&I only has a 3.0x ATK while LMeta is 3.5x

LMeta can reliably and consistently farm KoTG. Idunn cannot. Also, I&I's typing is off - blue healers are decent with the right leader and right subs, but you literally need to have the perfect REM subs just to begin to compete with LMeta. LMeta with the perfect subs absolutely destroys I&I with the perfect subs. Especially since light isn't resisted by anything.

Carson in reply to PadNut@/r 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Idunno, I prefer I&I's rows, higher HP, and she has a lot of excellent subs: SQ, Bvalk, Andromeda, Ruka, Gabriel, Hatsume, and Sharon (lol). Different playstyle I guess.
foxwaffles in reply to Firecat 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
I mean you can never have enough recovery as it were, since LMeta's active is based on your total RCV and it's great as a pinch heal aside from bind remove.

I still prefer LMeta over SQ because she's bind immune. Amon in Beelzebub is a complete joke when you use LMeta because he has no HP and no defense--he's hard because he binds your leaders but LMeta just laughs it off. Also 1.2x vs. 1.25x has a surprising difference, especially on healer teams where every point really does matter.

That being said I think this ulti of SQ also has a very different sub pool--blue healers with blue rows, not light healers with maybe TPA. With rows, a team focused around SQ or I&I can enhance their damage beyond the 12.25x or the 9x respectively. LMeta has to sacrifice a team slot for Shynee to compensate, which can really make HP tight.
Thorsten 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
I'm considering this ult evo even though I have I&I and LMeta. Not because the LS. I think either of the other two is a better leader, LMeta for bind resistance and slightly higher hp boost, and I&I for rows and even higher HP boost.

But the reason why I want this uevo is because I don't want to loose the perfect synergy on a blue god/healer team, with sunquan and the armor knight Muse. Two spikes, two types. So much clearing potential. And Noah as a friend leader works too for extreme tankiness.
Carson 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Lmeta's 1.25x HP vs. Sun Quan's 1.2x HP is actually a significant difference. His 1.2x RCV is superfluous for a healer team so that shouldn't really be taken into consideration. For endgame team cost and evo mats shouldn't really matter. Lmeta/Bmeta still have the better leader skill but I&I has the best in my opinion.
By bigbuff 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
I was actually going to ultimately (ahh 😃) choose this one, but I realized l.meta does basically the same thing (save recovery) but is also bound proof, where as this is not. I know this is the internet but I'm say it anyway. IN MY OPINION, (lol), he's not worth it if you already have I&I or l.meta unless I'm missing something here. Please. Do tell. I'm having a hard time deciding over either ult. Thanks in advance! 😀
Firenmage 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
I have to agree, while I don't have sun quan, if you already have Lmeta you're more like to use sun quan as a sub, therefore the awakenings are more important. and for I&I teams two rows is crucial for a 9x team. Dunno why people down voted you :P but I don't really see where you are wrong. It's probably just because you said you have an opinion :)
Chronoire2 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
The only thing I can see a good use for is for a tri-color dungeon or something with a type restriction, where using a light leader wouldn't be very helpful.
By Dabs 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Pulled 4 gods in 12 GF REM pulls this last GF.
Sun Quan --- Life Dragon, Zhuge Liang --- The Norn Verdandi --- Liu Bei ---

All in all, about 8 gold eggs. My first silver came out at my seventh roll, lol. Can't I can't complain, since it's my first GF I've decided to roll in and I'm rank •80•

Never had a good healer base, but now with these pulls I can start to scrounge for one last good healer to make a complete (nothing fancy) healer team. Same with attackers, I've already got two unEvo'D Hanzos, one reg Leeza, one Evo'd Leeza, & some more attackers. I can't wait to make it complete.
By mccool37 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
I'm not sure which ult to go for. This one has more Hp and Atk and (IMO) a better leader skill. Plus this version might be easier to make into a sub as well as a leader (I have Raphael and Valk to use)
The other one has 3 extra (and quite useful) awakenings, more RCV and probably a more useful typing (A god healer team is much easier to make than a dragon healer team but dragon teams are extremely lacking in the RCV department).
Any advice?

The Magic The Gathering player in me looks at the colors and reads it U/W as in blUe/White, because in magic there is Black Green White Red and blUe.
Kyle in reply to space244 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Your use of b/w is really confusing. At first I thought you were referring to blue/wood until I read further and saw it was the blue/light you were talking about. What is the w supposed to mean? White?
space244 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
If you're planning on making a light healer team with valk and raphael I'd definitely make the b/w uevo and use him as your leader because he has the highest multiplier of the three. It sucks that you lose out on the three awakenings but its not worth him not contributing any damage if you do the raphael>valk combo outside of skyfall. Then if you really need the b/g one the b/w evo materials are easy to get so you don't need to feel bad about reversing the uevo.
freudia 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
If you're using SQ as a sub, the B/G version is generally the way to go because of the extra awoken skills. Another water row, 1 TPA, and extend time is great for a number of leaders: Ult. Andromeda, Ult. U&Y, B/L I&I, and Xmas Sakuya, to name a few. I'll be evolving the SQ on my LKali team to B/G as soon as possible.

I'll probably ultimately go with the god version, since god is getting more buffs these days. Those awoken skills are so hard to pass up though
By god of war 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
This guy, Valj Reine, Supergirl, chibi lmeta and sirene, i think i migth have a nice L/W team, i also have idunn&idunna, U&Y, hatzume, lkaly and hathor so i think i have a few posible teams for this guy.
By El Rayo 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Oh goodness I am so torn :-/ Maybe someone with a Twin Star I&I can provide some perspective? I love the W/L form for the amazing leader skill, but I want the awoken skills from the B/G form lol. I&I doesn't have an HP requirement and the hp multiplier for her LS is 1.35. Should I keep I&I as the leader and sub B/G SQ? Or should I main B/L SQ and sub I&I? 3.5x attack sounds great, but having to stay above 50% hp adds a level of stress that I&I don't have to deal with. Then there is the option of subbing B/G SQ on a Ra build for the orb extension, delay, spike, and B/G slot, or much needed RCV for dragon builds. *sigh* the struggle lol
Tommy 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
I run twin star I&I as my main. Honestly im leaning toward the healer/dragon Sun Quan. Healers dont really need the recovery buff, and I&I has a better hp boost. Plus, even though to go from 3 to 3,5x attk, you really dont need that much of a boost anyways. My team is I&I
Azure Valk
W/W Gabriel
Sun Quan

So I have 4 attk boosts between the 2 I&I, Sun Quan, and Shynee. Plus a ton of row enhance as well as some tpa. If i can kill something with all of that then i need a different team for the dungeon. Thats just my thoughts though.
El Rayo in reply to Tommy 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Nice. That helps. Looking like I might stay with I&I as my main and subbing SQ. Just sent you a request on PAD. Add me!! :) Oh, and I'll post my I&I build below, too. Blue valk is the missing puzzle piece for my build.

Is there a reason why it's always the critters ALREADY deemed extra-powerful whose ultimates are demanded? The phrase "gilding the lily" comes to mind.
Guest in reply to Skyknight 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
As someone with a Lu Bu/Ronia team, my answer is simply that I have Lu Bu. His Ult will be the one I receive the most benefit from. SQ's Ults are great and all but, I don't have SQ. Now, that said, I do think it's inappropriate/disruptive to be posting stuff like Drak0's post on another monsters page.
nathan@N17 in reply to Stephen 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
Tell that to the sonia's......sometimes sh!t just happens in different ways
Kyle in reply to Skyknight 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
It's because the powerful monsters are the ones everyone uses already so they want the extra buff. Plus those are the monsters that people have already leveled up and awoken, so once the ult comes out all they have to do is feed it the proper materials
Stephen 4 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
You might want an ult for him, but the Three Kingdoms gods who need them to stay relevant will get them before the overly powered ones do, probably.
