BTW...don't forget to feed 3 other Blue Mythril Dragons to the base Mythril before you plan to evolve so that you will have all 3 awakenings.
SakanaCake in reply to Shynee 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Awakening counters are internalized. If you feed 6 Tamadras to a Gryps Rider Finn, when you UEvo it it'll have all 6 awakenings.
Dr. Psaroo 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Do it during a 2X skill event too, because the skill-ups that would normally apply to Mythril are actually carried on in his uvo. When I uevo'd Antikythera I got a skill up once although none of the materials had the same skill.
Shynee in reply to SakanaCake 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Yes I know. What I meant was if you evolve a max awoken Mythril (2 awakenings) into Mythril-Edge (3 awakenings), how will you get the third awakening without using a tamadra or evolving another Mythril Edge? (For example, when you evolve a max awoken UmiYama into Divine Wardens, you have the get the other 3 awakenings.)

EDIT: Oh, I see what you mean. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I didn't know you could do that! This is going to make ultimate evolving other monsters (Canopus, Antikythera) into max awoken much easier. So is there a time limit/restriction on this extra awakening before evolving business or is it forever all-knowing?

Aries War in reply to Dr. Psaroo 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Yes what he says is correct, the skill-up will be matched with the current monster Leader Skill (which unevolved is the same as other stone dragons) and apply after it is evolved.
My antykera (Yes spelling but close enough) max skilled with the evolution.
Shynee in reply to Aries War 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Really? I didn't know that either! Thanks so much to all of you guys! I should come here more often to learn all this useful information! :)

Out of curiosity/clarification, if you had a max skilled Mythril, and you ultimate-evolved it to Mythril-Edge, would it lost all of the previous skill-ups (with the exception of what you said)? And same for the Awoken Ceres, Neptune, etc? I want to know so I can determine how many dragons I will need.
Quoc@PG in reply to Shynee 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
When you Uvo, you will lose all skill ups that were there from before and get a fresh new 4 chances to skill up during the evolution since you are feeding 4 of the same skill materials. It is a chance of skill up so don't expect to get a max skilled mitril-edge (you would only get 4 skill ups max from this and will have to feed for the remaining skill ups).

Regarding Ceres, Neptune, and Minerva; you will not get any skill ups doing this since her Uvo materials do not include any cards that have the same active skill as them. In order to get a max skilled Ceres/Neptune/Minerva, you would have to have 2 extra and the most efficient way to skill them up is to Uvo all 3, max level all 3, and then feed 2 to the last one for the guaranteed skill up (not sure if this has been implemented for NA PAD yet, but is active on JP PAD).
Eric in reply to Shynee 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
If you max skill the monster before ult evo in this case it will reset. This is because the skill is different (does the same thing but lower cooldown and different name) In all other cases where the skill remains the same you keep it.
Shynee 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Umm... I think I am missing something but....
base Mythril only has 2 awakenings. So even if you max awaken it and then evolve, you would still be missing 1 awakening. And you are not adding another Mythril when you evolve either, so where do you get the last awakening?
By ✰Pollux✰ 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
this is probably meant to be a non rem shardran so legendary seaway can be beaten on challenge mode, pretty good just for that reason imo and the skill boosts are a bonus :D
Tony 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Good idea. You deserve a win.
hyorinryu in reply to Felix 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Regardless of his actual ability, I can people using him just for those 3 skill boosts he gives.
Felix 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Thing is, Shardra is used as the lead for its quick heart-making capabilities. Mythril doesn't have that.
Dawn in reply to nathan@N17 6 years ago ( 8.0.4 )
sure. It isnt like he's hard to use or anything...

They should have introduced a new Evo material for him:

Keeper of Trapper.

Not sure whether you should be shunned or applauded for that comment.
By Æro 7 years ago ( 7.2.2 )
A monster will keep any skill level-ups ONLY as long as it is the exact same skill (name).

Green Odin -> Awoken GrOdin -> UEvo GrOdin...yes and yes

Hera-Ur -> Evoed Hera-Ur....yes

Evoed Hera-Ur -> UEvoed

Carbuncle -> Evoed Carbuncle -> 2nd Evoed and no

The key is to look at the name of the skill of the monster (refer to this website as needed). If the skill is called the same thing from one evo to the next the you are safe, but if it is called something different then the skill level will be reset to 1 when you evo or ultimate evo the monster.

Easier said than done. One does not simply ask for Anubis and receive one since he is REM only. All the materials going into this guy are somewhat farmable. The blue orb is probably the hardest one to obtain through either chance in a dungeon or the evo materials times in the Pal machine.

That leader skill seems kind of nifty a grind and resist at the sane time
By Dr. Psaroo 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
I like how it's based upon weaponry.
I wonder what the other ones will be like? Tank Adamant? Gunblade Mafia-dragon Damascus? I don't like that skill though, wish they could put more to it like a defense buff or an attribute buff or something.

I think this guy needs 2 resistant-binds so that it is worth it. Already a great monster but I want a bit more...
By Silveus 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
why'd they change his sub color and resist from green to red?
✰Pollux✰ 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
So he could be a farmable legendary seaway challenge mode leader.
Shynee 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Because he is "Mythril Edge." When he harms you, he will hit you with the cold metal edges that he is made of and make you FREEZE with ICINESS, and then the pain will BURN like FIRE

Sorry that was lame, but you are right. I don't see any reason. But then again, all water dragons nowadays have a fire subtype (Megoladran, Crystal Aurora, Antikythera)

Interesting monster for a Goemon team. Can use him stall on floor 1 if it's fire / water enemy.
SirOsis>>s 5 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
Interesting monster for...meh, the trash bin. All of these severely underwhelming (if that's a word...know it's not 'cause I looked it uhthu things I learned in my schoooool) dragons need to be ramped up in a major way, if they are to have any viability past level 120 or so.

All they are now is a drag when you have to go weeding your box to make space for things you actually want to farm etc.
Boromir in reply to SirOsis>>s 5 years ago ( 9.0.3 )
Yeah, I've never used mine. It's half-leveled, just sitting there.

So, in addition to getting bigger, Mythril changed his name to Mithril?
