Why does the Attacker Devil look calm and composed when the Balanced Devil looks evil and about to kill?

Wait a minute...Is there a reason why neither version's art has a Blood Devil in it? Including a devil in at least one version has been a tradition for the archdemons.

Maybe he'll appear in Satan's uvo? It would make almost as much sense.

In my defense, they're tiny, so it's hard to distinguish the two at first glance.

Just like the other Lucifer, I'm going to translate his name before someone uses google trans. "The Prison Making King Demon God, Lucifer". Unfortunately 創獄 is a made up word so I can't give you an exact translation. However, I did add the meaning of 創 and 獄 together to create the meaning of 'prison making'. It may not be exact, but it's the best I can do. Also, the NA version will most likely have a different name so don't criticize me if it's different.
Biks 5 years ago ( 6.5.5 )
獄 stands for hell here.

His name says 神魔王, ttranslating to "King of the Demon Gods" (or maybe "God of the Demon Kings" now that I think about it) so he shouldn't be imprisoning kings.

As a player with 2 cao cao, I'd making Atacker Lucifer because he'll fit DMeta like a glove. Also I'd rather have this leader skill on a dark attacker for times when I'll need more hp than a DMeta team can provide. Devilits really aren't difficult to farm.
blueMage 5 years ago ( 6.5.5 )
Prison-making.... imprisoning perhaps? King-Imprisoning Demon God, Lucifer? Going on the whole biblical thing, even Kings quail before his might, that sort of jazz?
CJ 5 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
Hmm, I think it would translate to something like "Hell-Creating Archdemon, Lucifer"
By Hero 5 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
Both of these Ults are amazing looking art. Though I prefer the other one a tad more.
nathan@N17 5 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
Was just coming here to say just that. They both look great, but the other one definitely has that "don't f... with me look". I wish the other one would have been the attacker but at least the skill is the same and I'm just glad they're finally here (but not na yet ): )
Anon 5 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
I find it odd how FaL is the only one of the Archdemons to not have a basic devil in his artwork, but it's still impressive nonetheless.

But this one is perfect in a dmeta team
By Pyonk 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
If you're staring at your two devil lits and wanting this evo because of his leader skill, It's going to be hard to find enough people to be a leader with him. He's a great sub, and wouldn't be a bad farm leader if he was used a lot, but that's not really the case.

I'm using him for byakko and dmeta subs. I have a hard time using him with byakko on Dmeta teams because he's an attacker, she's a god, meaning they need different 2.5/3x AS like tunabowl for byakko and flamie for him.
By Greg! 5 years ago ( 6.5.5 )
Why would people choose this guy over the other? Not being an a**, but I honestly wanna hear all your comments!

I don't see why he needs two more Devilits. The thing that turns me off and makes me want to choose the other guy is because of his leader skill. Cao Cao already has it, so it's not unique. D/F Lucifer, on the other hand, can be a great alternative for Ronia (a special God) for people who don't have her, as her drop rate in the REM during Godfests is really low (I'm rank 155 and still don't have her). Not to mention, he has a lower cost than Sonia.

Pros compared to D/F Lucifer:
• Higher HP
• Higher ATK Multiplier as a leader
• +300 ATK

Cons compared to D/F Lucifer:
• Two Devilits to evolve
• -600 HP
• Only has one element (though this can be a Pro sometimes)
• Another unit already has this leader skill
• Leader skill sort of forces you to build a Dark-based Attacker team, which seems more uncommon, and difficult to make as compared to building a Dark-based Devil team

What am I missing out? Maybe he's meant to be a sub more than a leader? Enlighten me, guys!
FormX 4 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
• Two devilits is trivial
• ATK over HP
• Double dark maximizes awakenings
• Not using his leader skill
• Sub for dark devil team
A Wet Cow 5 years ago ( 7.1.2 )
Essentially what you're missing is what you keep saying.
He's a better sub than a leader for the most part.
mpfiv 5 years ago ( 6.5.5 )
He fits well into my dmeta team if i ever feel the compulsion to use him there and I prefer the mono color on him. I already have ronia and prefer her as a leader compared to his balanced version regardless. I have another one if I ever want to pursue the balanced version of him instead.
I personally see him as a sub unless they make him absolutely amazing with his leader skill.
I also figure if he is going into a team whose entire meaning is to kill the enemy before I die I would prefer his damage to the 600 hp.
silentkill 5 years ago ( 7.1.1 )
Well he makes a good leader for a couple of attacker teams.

I use him in this team quite often because of recover and insane attack though it is fairly REM heavy and plus he makes for a good attacker. My first roll was also a Liu Bei so i run attacker teams a lot. This is a team i plan on making as soon as i can evo my dragon rider arthur, and it is not common to c dark and light teams so thought i would try it.

D/d Lucifer (dark row enhance awakenings are good for damage output)
Attacker Kurone (rcv and active are good for quick recovery)
Attacker Lilith (poison and good rcv)
Gryps Rider Vec Fin (Powerful with the 2 two-prong attacks as a sub)
Dragon Rider King Arthur (good for converting heal orbs that Kurone makes)
D/d Lucifer (active can be used to enhance dark orbs and cause 300k damage to light)

By the way i have managed to skill up my luci a bit with the sixth angel so enhancing dark orbs is a thing too. Therefore this luci does have uses to power mono dark attacker teams, unlike cao cao who has low rec and a red sub type. If anyone has any ideas as to how to improve the team above please feel free to comment. I am still rank 110 so i don't have many options at the moment so this was the best team i could put together.
moekou@PF in reply to A Wet Cow 5 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
He's a great leader. Effortlessly farms Zeus and Athena in minutes with ease and can farm Kohryu/Fagan's dungeon reliably. Cao Cao may have the same leader skill, but Lucifer takes advantage of Dark Metatron's team (and there are a ton of Dark Metatron players) and has great synergy with Hanzo, while the fire ninja isn't an attacker. I'd much rather have a top-of-the-line lead skill with high HP multiplier (1.82XHP with both leaders) and greater damage than a poor-man's Sonia lead skill.
Greg! in reply to mpfiv 5 years ago ( 6.5.5 )
Makes sense. How about for a Ronia sub? Who would fit more?

D/F Lucifer gets an additional 30% for his fire sub-element (which synergizes perfectly with Ronia's skill), whereas D/D Lucifer has higher ATK, but gets less damage from his sub-element.
Chrispy!PF in reply to Greg! 5 years ago ( 6.5.5 )
if you use D/D luci on a ronia team, then you are going dark focus more than red? This is what I will do. Also, this uvo gives a varied leader skill, if I want to try a dark attacker team with him as the leader. If you have a ronia already, then the fire/dark luci has a redundant leader skill that would never be used. for my situation, this is best, and I like the versatility.

nathan@N17 in reply to silentkill 5 years ago ( 7.1.2 )
Liu bei converts dark orbs to green, which is the one thing I hate about him. Cao cao turns obsolete if I jave my hanzo on the team. But anyways to the point, this guy gets two devilits because he makes a d.meta team hit so much harder. Where as the D/F one is nice, he doesn't exactly make a ronia team that much better. I haven't noticed a significant difference at least, sure it's great synergy but not game changing. So in my opinion this guy is definitely the best option all around

By CatsemanSA 5 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
Demn. This dude with 2 UEvos both makes my Lu Bus slightly obsolete as a leader, but also could work as an even more direct psuedo-ronia
By espurr 5 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
Attacker or balanced luci for a lu bu devil team? With a load of dark row enhances and attack boost, this luci definitely does more damage, but the hp drop... Pretty disappointed that his armor design didn't change, only his pose =.=
nathan@N17 5 years ago ( 6.5.5 )
The other evo will actually do more damage on a good fire dark lubu team with shiva and ronia because the other gets the 1/3 fire attack and this gets the 1/10 dark I believe is what is. Also with a perfect board and fully enhanced it would be a bit more explosive than usual. And the fourth sub will decide which one you want to boost, satan with three more dark rows or ifrit with two fire rows and a skill boost.........but this one is definitely a power sub for dmeta. I just wish mine would skill up. Gone through so many angels for nada
By Victor 5 years ago ( 6.5.5 )
I feel like the 1.35 HP is a bit lacking, I mean 3 times attack Is nice, but maybe times 2 HP, or an additional 1.35 rec, or would that be too overpowered? I mean his active doesn't has extremely constant use, since it's only against light, so maybe he should get an improved leader skill to balance out the limited use of his active, and since, as far as I remember, attack types don't have amazing overall stats.
CatsemanSA 5 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
In the off chance you ever max skilled this fool, 5 turn dark enhance and light slaughter is amazing. You could start the dungeon with it ready and then be able to use it again in just 5 turns. That's as fast as Vamp can break hearts. 2xHP boost would be too much, that would mean double bad luci could give you 4x HP, which is just too powerful with an unconditional 3x/9x devil boost every match. My Lu Bu team has the 1.35x boost, which totals to nearly 2 anyway. 1.8225 HP can make a big difference. That "tiny" HP boost lets me be able to tank a Zeus hit in KotG farming if I want. It also helps make certain floors and descends less stressful or more manageable.

I got Archangel Lucifer (Now Rebel Seraph), but my main team is Dark/Devil... and this is both, Dark and Devil... I want this one. :(

People seem to not be understanding the d/d vs d/r. If you run a primarily dark devil/sonia team and want more burst, go d/d. It's true that the red almost catches up on flat damage with the fire sub giving 30% instead of 10%, but when you factor in row enhance the base attack on d/r is a pretty significant difference (obviously depends on your team make up. I have way more dark row enhance than red). HP isn't as important on a spike team if you're having trouble getting the fat dps to land the OHKOs on the bigger bosses.

If you're confident in your bursting capabilities, need versatility over raw damage, or run a red devil team, then yeah get d/r.

So I have a two sided question concerning this guy. First of all it should be noted that I intend to attempt to put him on either my Attacker team as a leader or sub, or on my devil team as a sub only. So here is the first side of the question. On my attacker team which consists of The Flash(soon to be Crimson Speester) as my lead, and Wisdom of Athena, Wonder Woman; Awoken Phantom God, Odin; High Dark Ninja, Hanzo; and Water Wizard, Sharon(soon to be replaced with Red Ice Leviathan); would this Lucifer serve as a better sub for Hanzo in order to keep the higher HP and still decent attack that the flash offers, or would he just be a better leader in the flash's place to stack more damage in general and have the option of high damage to light enemies. I also have Holy Hour Dragon Knight, Jean D'Arc to put in the flashes place for added HP and Rcv if I determine to make Lucifer my lead. I will also be evolving my Thor into the Retriever of Mjolnir eventually. What to you guys think? I am only rank 101 so take it easy on me. lol. If you think it would be better to leave the flash as a lead then I also have the ability to make a Dark Twin Star Tiamat pretty soon. IDK... his damage can at least be useful at all times. But Lucifer has better awokens.

Secondly, for my Devil team which is also based on having all colors available, Fully evolved Baal will be my leader. But my question here is should I have Lucifer replace my Underlord Hades as a sub. I will eventually fully evo Hades into Underlord Inferno Hades and he will most likely continue to have a place on my God team with Awoken Phantom God, Odin as a leader. But would it be worth it to bank on being able to skill up Lucifer and use his 150000 dark damage more often than using Hades' consistent 30% damage. Granted if you use Hades' active at the start of a boss fight he can deal some pretty insane damage sometimes I just feel like I will be able to use Lucifer's active much more often. What do you think?

What kind of dungeons are you tackling? 2x HP 2x ATK (Flash) is nice, but is not an end-game material that can deal with most descends. I believe to build a team fighting descends you either completely focusing on ATK boost from leaders, or have defensive type of leaders. Sadly 2/2/1 monsters can't serve either purpose. Another thing you should consider is to build a mono color team with orb changer to provide spike ability. Rainbow team is hard to operate unless you have exceptional orb matching skills (assuming you need really big damage in 1 turn).
By saultmom 4 years ago ( 8.1.1 )
Anyone else having problems skilling up this guy? I had no problems until level 10. Since then I've fed him countless skill-ups and he just seems stuck. It's really weird.
By Greg! 5 years ago ( 6.5.5 )
Now that I've rolled a Sonia, I'm torn as to which Lucifer I should evolve mine into...Probably this one, since he has more burst damage.

Sorry, D/F Lucifer :(
nathan@N17 5 years ago ( 7.2.2 )
I really hate how you spammed this page with all of your comments and part of it talking about the D/F being a ronia sub....and then you add more pointless comments about how you are going to go D/D after getting a ronai. Make up your d@mn mind and move along

20[10] turn orb changer sucks. CTW is completely unnecessary for rows. Neither of them have any row awakenings or skill boosts. This luci team sucks and will get outclassed by pandora, dmeta, lubu, etc.
nathan@N17 in reply to pxxl 5 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
Yeah because everybody has the best luck getting people. If that's all you have then it does well enough. Like I said not ideal but it still works. Not everything needs orb changing every theee turns with 400 skill boosts and 300 row enhance. And CTW is always nice to have, not needed but if it's all you have it's not like you'll get shot for using it. Calm down dude
pxxl 5 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
not a good build. Yomi and anubis don't compliment luci at all
-Striku- in reply to pxxl 5 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
Reason I chose yomi was because of his awoken skills and the fact that he is an attacker. CTW is a last resort if you didn't manage to one shot a boss. Anubis was because of his orb converter skill.
nathan@N17 in reply to pxxl 5 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
I think he was going for attacker types and I think they fit pretty well. An orb changer and a CTW are always appreciated and their awokens are pretty decent. May not be the ideal team but I reckon it would do just fine
