how about 90% damage reduction when at 1HP?

oh, i know. 10x damage multiplier when you match zero orbs. 1x when you match 1+ orbs.

ooh, here's another one. Avoid 1 hit KO when HP > Damage.

Next: recovers 20x RCV on any orb match... for Satan's ultimate evo.

@Jesus That wouldn't be pointless actually. He'd just become a godly sub instead of a leader. I'd spend 20 tamadras for 10k life per orb match... but I would definitely feel bad because he'd never be able to lead again.

3.5x under 80% would be OP, i'll admit. that's 12.25x RCV with double izanagi at low HP, pretty much insta-heal with 3 heart orbs no matter what HP you're at.

but even 1.5x or 2x RCV below 80% would be good.

RCV boost at high HP? That's just stupid, no matter what the multiplier is.

This card has been reworked.
It was RCV 1.5x when HP over 80%.
RCV become permanent after the patch.

I'm not sure (newbie here and I REM'ed Izanagi during the last godfest)
but I'm reading his leaderskill as

"God type cards ATK x3.5 when HP is greater than 80%."
"God type cards RCV x1.5."

basically two separate entities... where God types ATK @ x3.5 when HP >80% AND God types get RCV x1.5 regardless of HP.

I'm missing Keeper of Light, but I can confirm once I ult-evo him, I'll let ya'll know.

It's becoming very annoying to see RCV (1.5/2.5/3.5) when HP is over (50%/80%) That is just stupid. Having a RCV multiplier for above 80%? That makes it useless.

80% is just such a high requirement. DLish says it's good, if you have like 40k+ HP, then you can tank a 8000-9000 HP hit and still have the RCV to heal.

no, it still sucks.

trash mobs in OOH deal that kind of damage. This has zero potential against any kind of boss, even normal dungeon bosses. 1 hit from the bosses on T4-5 normal/technical dungeons, and it's useless.

I'm not building a max-level, 50k+ HP, all-god/physical team just to farm T4 dungeons.

And if i have to sweep the dungeon or else I lose my damage multiplier... the RCV is completely pointless anyway, isn't it?

Izanagi should have just gotten his requirement lowered to 50% HP like Ame. Or a flat 1.5x RCV at any HP. either of those would have been infinitely more useful.

The silliness of that power is directly proportional to the hit points of your team. If you have a physical god team and a helper with HP multiplier you can have a huge hit point pool. Monster 1131 for example is 2x HP and 2x attack for 7x attack and over 50,000 hit point. More available, Physical Shiva has 1.5x HP, ATK, and RCV which would make for 5.25x recovery and ATK along with upwards of 39,000 hit points.

So while 20% doesn't sound like much, 20% of 50,000 is 10k. Get hit for 9.5k and the 3.5x recovery will be awfully nice to get back to full so you can take more hits like that without dropping below threshold. Or get hit for more than 10k, use an active or an idle turn between attacks to get back above 80% and then the boost to top off.

Basically, it would be absurd on a healer team and bad on an attacker or balance team but it is a little less silly than it looks on a physical/god team.

It's perfect for God/Physical team that has low RCV but very high HP. If it's 3.5x RCV when below 80% HP, that's just too OP.

If you are running 3.5x damage leaders, you are probably not trying to take hits from any boss with a low turn count. The RCV is to make sure you still have that 3.5x damage when you get to the boss. It is basically for stalling and getting past preemptive strikes and not for tanking.

all that said, it still isn't great. It is not useless but I'd trade it for a static 1.3 or 1.5 x HP any day.

Hopefully Gungtroll will buff him to 50% Hp requirement after they realize no one will use him. Definitely getting him when he's released in the US, but he'll be collecting dust while Ult Athena takes the cake.

Not to mention, that new Noah descend will be upon us soon. If you have the right components for a physical/god team (or high HP gods since Izanagi and Noah have god LSs), you're looking at EASILY having 50,000k hp. So like they said before, you can tank 10,000 and not break a sweat, and do a nice heart combo to bring it right back up. I can't wait to ult-evo my Izanagi, he'll go good with my L/B angel + B/L hermes, and if I can get a friend Noah I'll be even happier!

I think the RCV when above 80% is for anti-poison, think about the scenario when board have 3 heart and 12-15 poison orb, one match give u 12.25 your RCV and even with those poison u will stay full health.

12.25 ATK when over 80% and unconditional 2.25 RCV with two double ATK boosts sounds very nice.

Sub the A Team: Athena, Apollo, Apocalypse and something to help stay in the zone and you are good to go.

Double Izanagi team will get you back to full health with little heart orbs.

However I personally use Izanagi with Athena friend. Somewhat similar to Lubu/Sonia build but works as a god TPA team. Often times, Izanagi subs are god/healers such as LKali, LZL, and Valk. So even with 1.5x RCV it's still very good.

I think that this guy would work well as a sub for a double L/L Ra team:

L/L Ra
Izanagi for a 2x god attack on the boss
B/L Isis because she covers water and can almost prevent team binds
D/L Yomi (or L/D Venus) for dark and change the world
F/G ultimate Leilan because high stats and covers the remaining colors
L/L Ra

The team would be slightly more Light focused than other Ra teams, and with change the world and Izanagi's skill you could have a 98x attack for the entire team. Only problem could be team cost, at 170.

So let me get this straight. After YamaP's recent Godfest Buffs (June 17, 2016), L/L Izanagi's Leader Skill is now...

God Type cards ATK x3.5, RCV x1.5. Matched attribute ATK x1.5 when matching exactly 5 connected orbs with at least 1 enhanced orb.

From what I understand, that's a passive x3.5 ATK and x1.5 RCV for God-types!

This is only calling for an Awoken Evolution. Let's hope that this pantheon gets it next!!

I don't see why some people are complaining. If you do not like this evolution, just don't evolve. I, however like this evolution that doesn't require daily mythical dungeons.

-Gained sub-attribute and sub-type. The more attributes and types, the stronger the monster and the more teams it can possibly be used on (physical teams)
-Gained HP and RCV. Okay, who doesn't like a stat boost?
-Improved leader skill. Although many of you will continue to use Izanagi as a sub, some will begin using him as a leader since we all have different minds. After all, why not?

God types are strong and have pretty decent stats once evolved, even at a low level. However a lot of gods have low recovery. They aren't healers and they aren't physical so I guess some of you will say that my standards are too high, but... the new leader skill can boost recovery and make you feel safe by reassuring you with high recovery, even if it will only work above 80% HP.

Healer teams have high RCV but moderate attack and HP. So compared to gods, it sounds god teams are better than the typical lazy healers build. Izanagi's skill also has a faster cool down than Shynee and you have two instead of one. Many people these days use Metatron instead of Valkyrie and you need 50% or 80% HP also.

Besides, at least Gungho has attempted to make a better version of Izanagi. Be grateful there is actually a new evolution and 'better' leader skill. Maybe I'm wrong about Izanagi's improvement and criticize me if you want, but I am going to try Izanagi as a leader for a while and see what will happen. The rest of you can just not evolve him and keep him as a sub.

It's important to note that it's the LAST one you activate that takes priority. This is a behavior change from earlier (like 6 months ago) where the FIRST thing you activated would lock out any other boosts. Now you can overwrite them all you want, the last one is the one that takes effect.

Izanagi is the most amazing card in PAD in my opinion and here's why

1. for the evolved version you see all the japanese serie gods behind izanagi but they are gone in the ultimate form
2. this ultimate form looks way serious and cooler, as if he absorbed the power of all the other gods, which explains why they are gone.
3. come on let's face it. 3.5x atk and 3.5x rcv boosts is unique and unheard of even it requires 80%+ HP.
4. great and unique active too.

1. it has a physical subtype, king bubblie is a good sub
2. If you have maxed skilled physical Isis, HP would not be a problem. Orochi would be a perfect sub for him too
3. maxed skilled dark izanami can increase survivability and efficiency of izanagi's LS. Moreover, izanami has auto heal too
3. With the ultimate form of green odin, HP would not be too much of a problem but king bubblie's existence would be less efficient

The active skill on Izanagi is very, very useful, and can pair well on many different teams---especially Egyptian, Chinese , DQDZ, Valk, etc...

Now that his stats are buffed and he has a secondary light attack, he's a viable sub on many teams---allowing for a 1-turn burst of double-damage for gods (who already have some amazing stats)!

izanagi and noah... then the rcv bonus can be real nice... and Gungho where is the skill up for him... one of the lowest skill multiplier for one turn only (not counting beginner dragon's skill and some MULTIPLE TURNS MULTIPLIER SKILLS), and there is almost no way to skill him up???

Noah's husbando.

Izanagi's leader skill isn't that bad. We're talking about GODS here. Physical typing gives him high HP. Pair him up with other high HP/Physical-Gods, and staying over 80% shouldn't be that much of a problem.

Dual Izanagi will wreak havoc with x12.25 ATK, while playing it safe with x12.25 RCV. Maybe add in an Amaterasu, Ceres, or maybe even an Archangel to give you a safe RCV active skill, not to mention great RCV stats on the get go, and the sweet Auto-Recovery awakenings, and you'll be fine.

Izanagi and friend Noah (or vice-versa) will give you x5.25 ATK and x4.73 RCV above 80% HP, and x2.5 HP all throughout. With that x2.5 HP boost, it will, all the more, be easier to stay above 80% HP. Your team would be close to indestructible, with decent RCV, and a high HP multiplier, not to mention the Physical-God subs you'll probably be using (Noah already has 6000 HP at max lvl)

All this, of course, is dependent on the dungeon you'll be doing.

Something I posted on the Noah page:

Let's see the numbers here...

With this team, you'll have x5.25 ATK and x4.73 RCV above 80% HP, and x2.5 HP all throughout.

Your team's HP will be around 71685. You can take around 14337 damage for Izanagi's Leader Skill to still be active.

When above 80% your team will have 8000 RCV, 7000 Wood damage, 14000 Water damage, and 22000 Light damage.

When at 79% HP, RCV will drop to 1675, and damage will be significantly lower. However, you will still have around 58000 HP, very far from dying. 3500 worth of auto-heal awokens will help you get back up to 80%. When close to dying, you can afford to use Noah's active skill, and then heal back up with Amaterasu's active skill, and you'll be back up at x5.25 ATK.

People are all about this noah/nagi deal but the think is the descends have more than one heavy hitter and most times you are going to take some hits, so when noah throws your hp through the ceiling and then you suddenly get hit hard, gravity, preemptive or whatever, it's a b!tch getting way back up there in hp unless you want to waste a spot for a healer. Which isn't that great for attack seeing as you're only rocking a 3.5 multiplier plus whatever noah gives. So that really limits the descends they can do. Sure you can match all these great gods and such on this team but that's just forcing it when it's just better to put him as a sub and pull out the more efficient leaders....Egyptian gods, athena, kirin and the girls and so on...besides what worthwhile descend can be defeated with such a low attack multipler. I'm not trying to start a fight with anybody it just seems unless you run him as a duel lead and kill before you get hit

I kinda have to agree with this. A team built around Izanagi is VERY REM-heavy, to the point that it's almost exclusive to REM-only monsters (Gods). Not just any god, but you'll want a god or two with healing skills (Amaterasu, Ceres for full HP RCV).

Noah is there for the high HP boost, as mentioned, and then the mini-morning star as a mini-nuke (when she's maxed out, and +eggs). Very REM-heavy, but will definitely work if done correctly.

Keep them both. Not worth chance of skill up. That means you could do an extra 2x God hit 2 turns in a row when both reach active skill time.

So as a sub on an Athena team, where the subs almost always have a light ATT anyways, how does izanagi stack up against Thor? Don't get me wrong, I like Izanagi, but Thor, with 1.5x attack for 3 turns, may be better at filling that role than people expect

god i want and need him so badly for my sakuya/athena team... i rolled sooo hard day 1 NA new years and got every single card in JP 1 and 2 series besides him with multiple dupes of some cards... i'm contemplating rolling during the heavens gala, but know i'll end up just getting more dupes of stuff i already have.

Does his skill stack or can you only have one turn based multiplier active per turn? Example: I use Ianagi's Breath of Creation for 2x ATK for God Types for 1 turn and then use Thor, the Wilder of Mjolnir's Light enancement, 1.5x Light Att. ATK for 3 turns. Would Thor and Izanagi and any other light Gods get 3x damage on the next turn or would Thor's bonus replace Izanagi's?

Actives that give damage multipliers overwrite each other. So only the second active's damage boost would be counted.

seeing as how this batch of gods are getting split ult. I'm calling that Izanagi will be att. light/fire
hoping that it would be so that I can put him on my Goemon team\now please just don't lose that physical typing and definetely not god else your active won't help you.

But if you do lose physical it better go to attacker and gain a wood sub attribute
sot that it can fit with Athena

If you players had to choose which will it be

light/fire physical Izanagi or
Light/ wood attacker izanagi

I can't believe you're all complaining about the 3.5x RCV when HP>80%. In case you haven't noticed, his previous evolutions didn't have a recovery boost at all.

It's like you ordered food at a restaurant and they accidentally brought you an extra bowl of rice that you didn't order with your meal, and you shove it down the waitress' throat because it wasn't a bucket of mashed potatoes.

Just pair him with Athena's ult and shut up, you ungrateful t***s.

Except it's not a bowl of rice, it's a bowl of buffalo sauce to go along with your buffalo wings. It's a redundant skill, and speaking for myself, I take it as the company telling us they're doing us a favor when they're really not. Like at all.

People pour money into this game. It's the #1 grossing game, beating out Clash of Clans. So yeah, people get to complain. But don't let that stop you from your corporate d**k riding.

My thoughts exactly. Now that Noah's been released in NA, I think she's a way better match for Izanagi. x2.5 HP for Gods will make it easy to stay above 80%. That's crazy.

we're complaining because of how little this ult does for izanagi

going along with your restaurant theme it would be like paying for a large soda when you can just refill your small cup or something

his previous evo was weak because he only has 3.5x atk over 80% and that isn't very reliable because one strong attack and your under 80% and your no longer sweeping and you die

this ult doesn't change that by much unless you go with a light god(for his active)/ physical(for the hp threshold) tpa(for his awoken skill) team which narrows his sub choice down to only apollo and cinderella

before this people believed his ult would bring him a really strong buff that made him a viable leader like amenouzume where its 3.5x over 50% but instead he got a rcv buff over 80% which is useless unless you run a physical team which leaves only the previously mentioned apollo and cinderella as subs

From what I interpret, it looks like 3.5x atk unconditional and 3.5 rec when above 80. If both atk and rec is 80% conditional, it should be written 3.5 atk AND 3.5 recovery when above 80%. Maybe there's translation problem because that sounds op. I also thought his leader would be adjusted. That's what led me to believe that.

To anyone complaining about his leader skill:

This is GrOdin's boyfriend. Ult GrOdin has 4 auto-recovers. Use a friend's GrOdin, which has ridiculously high stats - and it only gets worse when you have one or two as your own subs. If you have two, which many people do, then you'll get 6k auto-recover every turn and ridiculously high RCV if you're over 80%, guaranteed to put you back to 100% for the next round. The 6k auto-recover could possibly put you over 80% for the Izanagi bonus. The only thing you'd need to worry about is light bind, but Ceres or LMeta would have that covered.


It will steamroll just about anything you could hope to use GrOdin for.

Yeah, the problem with that is the auto-recovers don't take effect until AFTER all of your attack/recovery is resolved, so you get no bonus, and THEN the auto-recovery bumps you back over 80%, and if you're fighting anything with a 1-turn counter (which is anything worth fighting), then you get hit again, and you're under 80% again. No bonus.

Muse has God type cards ATK x2.5 for 1 turn with a similar cooldown, so while 3x is OP yes i agree, I think a buff is reasonable.

Muse has a longer cool-down, so I think it is kind of fair.
And they have different colours, so I put Izanagi in Athena Team and Muse in Umi-Yama (Water-Heavy) Team.

While muse is a bit off color for The main god type teams, Izanagi works well with a great amount of subs/leaders, especially the immense popular Athena. Unlike muse, Izanagi is also a great leader. That's why izanagi's active skill shouldn't be buffed. The dmg output on a yellow god tpa team is much higher already with his 2x burst then muse would achieve in a blue god team with 2,5x burst
