Imagine some dream team...

Devil Anubis Leader
King Baddie
Shiva Devil ult evo
Dark Mecha dragon ult evo
Devil Anubis Friend

King Baddie X3 Attack
Sonia change orbs
shiva Third eye & enhance all fire orbs
dark mech enhance all dark orbs and 30000 Damage
Double Devil Anubis with his Deadly leader skill

Arrange orbs in ladder form to get 10X up
If you have a lot of luck, Max 15X
15x15 (Double Anubis)=225 x3 (King Baddie)=675 x2.8 (Enhance all Orbs in the screen)=1890X

King Baddie Max Level with +297 ,ATK 746 + 99 = 845 X1890 = 1,597,050
just king baddie can do more than million ATK
Sonia Max Level +297, Atk + 99, ATK (1875 +99) X1890 = 3,730,860
Shiva Max Level + 297, Atk + 99, ATK (1802 + 99) X1890 = 3,592,890
Anubis Max Level + 297, ATK (1350+99) X1890 = 2,738,610
the other one Anubis = 2,738,610
5 Mechdragon combo, hadar Max Level + 297, ATK (1709 + 99) X1890 = 3,417,120

Total damage = 1,597,050 + 3,730,860 + 3,592,890 + 2,738,610 + 2,738,610 + 3,417,120 = 17,815,640 #

If your victim is Light, Maybe he have to has Hp more than 30M to survive this Abyss attack. pretty sure his defense is useless after he get third eye from shiva. and maybe this is a highest Damage you can do in this game, just ''maybe'' and If my calculation is correct, there is no Boss in any dungeon can hold that Damage.

#Just calculate some dream team... too very hard if you wanna create this team and try it on lower dungeon, but I'm trying to do that XD i want to see that incredible damage.

Second Edit
Oh my god. My calculation is wrong, I forget to X 15 orbs combo. so Sorry but too crazy than ever so i'm tired about that numbers, i just used Combo Damage Calculator on P&D Database and this is the Damage Zeus told me.

Damage Output: 188,669,250 ( 15 Combos )

Ok! So... Even the New Super extremely Mythical Dungeon that has a new Light Boss with HP more than 350Million are added, He still be trash when facing this hell team.

I feel a little bad telling you this, but bosses now have dark absorb for 10 turns sometimes. It kind of messes with this entire setup.

Cool math though.
Ledgeitpro 6 years ago ( 7.2.1 )
You didnt account for the fact that its at least a 15 combo which stacks up a lot of damage by itself. Plus if its a sonia ability where you can get 10 combos off then theres 5 black combos which increases all black attacks by at least 5x.
SasquachPG 6 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
I don't think your calculation is right. I used lvl 50 Robin, Max Level Artemis, King Woodsie, Green Trifruit, and D/L Anubis. Got 15 combo, Artemis hit 12 million itself and Anubis hit 19 mil with 80x damage

Orb enhance doesn't work like that. The multiplier applies to each combo by itself, so if you're doing 3-combos, it's only a 1.18x multiplier, not 2.8x. 2.8x is when the whole board is one combo, fully enhanced.
joe 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
You forget the game mechanic multiplier for combos as-well. A combo 15 is going to also add 28.42X damage (25% boost for each combo above 1 or 1.25^15), assuming that all matches are only 3 orbs, the total possible multiplier would be 53,713X damage multiplier. Using the team simulator with your suggested build, that would be:

14,727 Total ATK

791,031,352 Total Damage (rounded)
Requious 6 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
Not sure if this is what makes much difference but +99 atk is +495 base stat since each + is worth 5
396*6*1890=~4.5m unaccounted for damage
There's probably more though

(assuming 1 set of 3 dark orbs in a 15 combo, judging from the calculations made)

These are the things I've learned through trying to use D/D Anubis. By using him I've made every other team nearly a joke to use in terms of ease. He requires hours and hours of practice to use right and even then he's not exactly consistent but he teaches you skills that have you become a variable magician in this game. Just from using him I've figured out how to manipulate orbs in ways I never bothered with before. Normally when you play the game trying to get those 3 orbs in a line is all you concentrate on...but with D/D Anubis setting up the board becomes so critical that you have to learn how to make a lot of different structures of orbs that you never thought you'd have to do before...on purpose anyway.

He's simply upped my speed by a ton.

Average combo has gone from like 5 to 8 or so. Getting 8 or 9 combos consistently is actually fairly "easy" once you get used to thinking about how to accomplish's when you get to 10 and above that you basically have to rely on skyfalls and it's for this reason D/L Anubis is actually viable where as D/D Anubis is generally just for fun.

I had to learn how to do the infamous Sonia cascade combos WITHOUT CTW. This one has probably improved my play the most as it turns nearly every G/R/B Sonia skill in to an 11+ Combo.

I would never use this guy as a main leader or anything but man do I not regret getting to know him. Going back to Kirin is like laughable as I went from struggling to activate her LS to not only activating her LS but then getting 3 additional combos with relative ease.

Firecat in reply to TFuse 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
The biggest thing that I had to start figuring out was how to make combos with cascades...and I mean no matter the board.

You'll very quickly figure out that you don't actually have to spend a turn setting up the board most of the time. If you know how to manipulate the board right you can get all of your combos through cascades instead of all of the combos happening at once. This also has the added benefit of new orbs dropping down doing it in "steps" that have a lot more chances to combo than if it all just fell at once. You have to change your mind set from strictly having everything matchup immediately to having orbs more or less fall in to place. It is a far more drastic change in playstyle than it initially appears. Don't be discouraged if it takes you forever and even some pen and pencil to see it at first.

I started it by looking at a board and determining the max amount of combos possible. You'll find that almost every board can net you at least 8 and in most cases 9 combos. Then I spent the next 5-10(sometimes upwards of 15) minutes figuring out how to get all of the combos. Again, you'll quickly find out that simply getting all of them to go off at once is pretty much impossible and you have to rely on cascading to get all the combos in. If you keep practicing your time spent figuring out the board drastically decreases. It gets to the point where you look at the board and pretty much immediately know where you'll start, what orbs will be left over, and where everything has to go and how to get it there. These days I can figure this out almost right away...only rude complicated boards take more than 10 seconds.

Look up Dubby on youtube.

I learned the play style I explained above from him. I saw one video of his and immediately decided that I want to play PAD like that.

Just be aware that it's going to take you quite a bit of time to start thinking like that and you'll really really suck at it for the first couple of days you try to do it. I went from clearing Mythicals easily to failing just about everything because I refused to backtrack in how I played. Made a lot of mistakes.

TFuse 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Do you have any tips on how to set up the board? What objectives do you have in mind when you're setting up your orbs? I would think it goes beyond just looking for the basic V-shape, L-shape, etc. patterns.

I'm in the same boat you used to be in where I can consistently get 5~7 combos with relative ease with my Kirin team, but it's tough to get 8+ without luck. Now that I have an Anubis, I really want to up my game.
TFuse in reply to Firecat 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Thanks for the advice! That makes a lot of sense. I'll try switching my mindset going forward. :)
Greg! in reply to Firecat 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Bro, if you could give us a visual example (maybe record your screen, or maybe a screenshot or something), that would be really great. I'm currently undecided on which Anubis I should use at the moment.

I'm willing to learn how to use D/D Anubis, but I just don't know where to begin. So now, I'm currently using my D/D Yomi as a leader for practice, until my Anubis is ready to evolve and ultimate evolve.
nathan@N17 in reply to Greg! 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
My advice is to use D/L anubis for "practice". He's not wrong, now my biggest problem is if i wanna use my D/D or D/L. Doing it for some time and it sort of just happens, no sitting there for two hours mapping a route
gatchet 5 years ago ( 7.3.0 )
I also have some questions about how you practiced the "Dubby" method. Would you be wiling to completely break down your process of tackling a board, and also further describe your practicing methods? I have seen Dubby's videos and have been practicing on my own, but I am worried that I am not practicing efficiently/correctly.

When I first encounter a board and have counted all of the potential combos, I:

1. Identify problem orbs (orbs that are going to be difficult to form into a combo due to horizontal distance perhaps; pretty much the orb which I would have to start on to simplify the problem)

2a. Group the orbs to see which orbs will form a direct combo, and which orbs will require cascades in order to match up, etc.

2b. Try to visualize a final solution which will allow me to capture all of the combos available, and also seems relatively doable given the current board setup (or as much as I can, I sometimes settle for less if the board is really proving to be a problem).

3. See how I can move orb in order to achieve said solution

(I do believe that there is a flaw in my current method because there is a huge gap between steps 2 and 3)

Current problems I am encountering in trying to practice with this method:

Trying to outright visualize a feasible board given the board layout alone is proving to be quite difficult. I guess what I'm saying is that one of the hardest parts is knowing exactly what can and can't be done with the given board.

Also, I have an absurd dependence on dawnglare, the simulation tool, when solving the boards. Did you use this tool when you were in your practicing stages? If so, how did you eventually move away from it? Or if you never used it, how do you practice without simulation tools (you mentioned using pencil to assist you at some points, maybe you could describe how that worked for you)?

Hope you can get back to me soon.

Forgive my lack of foresight but how would this version be worth 2 devilits??? Is there some use as a sub or leader that I'm just not seeing?
urtoast(F) in reply to Jaysinnn 6 years ago ( 6.3.0 )
1350x when attacking lights, using a full dark team. Even more if awakening skills for enhanced dark orbs and horizontal dark clears. There isn't a single thing that'll survive. So, if you have the skills, patience, and luck, then D/D Anubis is the way to go. And now that Anubis is an orb changer, makes getting those dark combos that much easier. Now I"ll just need 2 more Devilits on my alt so I can run dual D/D Anubis whenever I want.
kickserve in reply to kai@HNL 6 years ago ( 6.3.0 )
A perfect board match gets you a maximum of 10 combos (30 orbs, 3/combo). This is only possible if each color is present in a multiple of 3 though, so practically speaking you generally can't count on getting that even if you are an orb matching god. Its easier in Tricolor...but those are easy anyways and don't have dark orbs. Makes D/D Anubis seem kinda silly to me, especially with the devilits required. Activating baddie, getting 9 combo and seeing 0 fall from the sky seems like a downer to me. Baddie also does not stack with other buffs (Learned that with robin and woodsie). All and all this monster seems like he is just for the fun of seeing very, very high numbers now and then.

bottom line main reason to make DD anubis is to use as a high RCV devil sub. not necessarily to use as leader(except maybe in tri color dungeons.)

Well, a 675x with a King Baddie (15x15x3) attack multiplier sounds like it could take down ANYTHING in the game, and cascading a 15 combo in a dungeon like Satan isn't too hard. Is he worth two devilits? Probably not. Does he have a purpose? Definitely.
kai@HNL 6 years ago ( 6.3.0 )
honestly if ur using anibus as lead u will most probably want one of each as your leaders, so that 8combo= 4x & 15combo=150x. i don't think its the multiplier that's important. its his sub class. the devil sub class is much more valuable/use-able than attacker class. aside from that this gives him the highest multiplier in the game(could be considered the strongest hitter). that said, so 2 devliits? ehh... ill just make the D/L and use King Flamie wahaha!

and considering 15 combos means a 3.5 multiplier just from the combo multiplier and lets also assume the absolute minimum any of the colors were activated was 2 the minimum multiplier in given conditions would be at least 4725 X and average (assuming rainbow team in satan which represents all colors) of 7087.5 X.

Try to manipulize the orbs and make orb drop combos
what 6 years ago ( 6.5.2 )
It might be a good idea to combo to the sides of the board so that there is more chance of getting last-second combos, because in theory, the leftover orbs will be in the center, grouped together, which should be easier to combo than extra orbs spread out.

Also it might be a good idea to learn how to drop combo if you haven't already.
Rock@pf 6 years ago ( 6.3.0 )
I'm in the same boat. I'm fairly good at orb manipulation, but I just haven't figured out exactly how to set up the HUGE combos that everyone seems to rely on to beat these hard dungeons. Every time I try to set up a big combo, I get taken down because it takes too many turns to set them up. Some combo setup lessons would be awesome.
stimpy in reply to Rock@pf 6 years ago ( 6.3.0 )
On YouTube there are some videos of people doing 10+ combos with ease. They don't really set up anything. They do 7-8 combos consistently and 2-3 combos fall for them after that. I can't get to 7 or 8 combos yet. Only with luck when the orbs fall

If you think about it...

D/D Anubis
Red Sonia
BAO Batman w/ Batwing
King Baddie
D/D Anubis

Pop Sonia
Hera-Ur (x2.80)
Batman (x2 for dark)
Baddie (x3)
Against light monster (x2)

74851560 damage against light Att.
37425780 damage against all others
All monster lvl max no +'s

This isn't calculated with additional damage from 15+ combo BEFORE all multipliers

But let's be honest, who gets consistent 15+ combos, in non-Tricolor dungeons (Ex. Keeper of Gold)

why people use only D/L ANUBIS?(like me)..i haven't seen anybody using the D/D ANUBIS..
Firecat 5 years ago ( 7.2.3 )
Honestly? Even if you get really good at this game D/D Anubis simply isn't reliable. The absolute maximum amount of combos you can have on the board is 10 at a time. This is only possible with a perfect board and those don't happen very often (Having anything but a multiple of 3 of any one color ruins it and you can't have anything more than 15 of one color). This means that D/D Anubis almost always has to rely on skyfalls to get his LS to go off. While there are ways to make this more likely to occur they are pretty advanced skills, require hours of practice, and even then you aren't guaranteed to make that 10th combo if you only had a board of 9 combos. You can do everything right and still not activate the LS through sheer lack of luck...and it happens more often than not.

All of this difficulty to activate an LS that, in the end, is entirely superfluous. D/L Anubis gives a 16x for an 8 combo and a 49x for a 9 combo on top of the magical 100x for a 10. The amount of boards you can activate a D/L Anubis on for at least a 16x is nearly 100% and 49x isn't even that much more unlikely to occur. 16x is a lot of damage, 49x kills almost anything in the game already, and 100x kills the very few creatures that 49x doesn't quite muster.

On the other token D/D Anubis hits for 100x on up...which turns out to be cool but pointless. Sure getting that 225x multiplier makes you feel awesome but the thing you're trying to kill would have already died with a 100x anyway so the whole thing is pointless in the end. As someone else put it D/L hits them hard or kills them...D/D kills them or kills them harder.

By Bywin 4 years ago ( 8.6.2 )
The only way I see him being usable relatively consistently is in the special 7x6 dungeons where it isn't that hard to get a 10x combo consistently. I don't actually have him and I'm just a rank 100 noob, so correct me if I'm wrong.
sc0rch3d 4 years ago ( 8.7.0 )
Completely agree + you need a timer extension. On a regular board with 1 extra sec, I'm barely achieving 5 combos (4 pretty easily) on a regular basis.

Another possibility is a tri-color dungeon. Like weekend MASTER I use Gadius that multiples 2 heal combos and 1 other to 6x. I regularly get 10 combos due to skyfall. That would be a 60x attack...hmmm.... I may roll REM today. :)

I'm fairly new to PAD, I've only been playing for about 2 months and I'm constantly learning more and more about the game and team building strategies and ect. but when people say to use this monster as a "sub" or "paired sub" are they talking about using this monster as a helper from one of your friends or are they saying that specific monster is needed to be in the team slot while you're editing your team in the corner that has the word "sub" in grey?

If you can't beat any descends now, how do you expect to do it with Anubis? His leader skill is so hard to activate, even the pros on youtube only use him sparingly, and as a gimmick. He's simply not reliable nor consistent enough. Even then, 36x is still not strong enough to beat many descends. He's a "trap" card in that he promises a lot, but you need to be a savant to use him properly. Even the pros fail with him 9 times out of 10. Those youtube videos are only the good runs. The 20 bad runs before didn't get uploaded.

Level 175 and I've beat 3 descends (my first ever) in the past week. Start with Heroes / Hera / Thief. They are pretty straightforward & will net you some great drops.
